No problem Netopalis, glad to have you back. So we have...
"In the end, loyalty is its own reward." 5th lion fourth?
"A cunning lie is never told twice." 1st lion second?
"Our monarch's virtues are our own."
"To serve Taldor, I must first learn the history of Taldor." 4th lion first?
"Practice! Practice! Practice!"
Cabinets with two tall drawers each line the east and west walls of this room. A relief carving of a lion’s head dominates the south wall, hanging imperiously over a low stone step. Six freestanding statuettes of lions in various poses stand atop the furniture.
The six lions are each in different poses. One crouches as if preparing to ambush its prey. The second is roaring as it leaps at prey. The third wears a yoke that is chained to a large block that the lion strains to pull. The fourth wears a tiny pair of spectacles and reads from an ornate scroll. The fifth is draped in the flag of Taldor. The sixth sits erect and wears a crown.
I think we need to check the last room before anything else.

The phrase Practice is repeated three times. I assume that means it something goes into the 3rd slot? Since there was no other clue expect a regal picture of the. Prince, does anyone else think number six would go into the third slot? I think those would be my guesses.

Glad to have you back, GM. Hope your next week goes better than last. Sounded hectic! :-) .

Glad to have you back Netopalis!
I disagree on your interpretation of "Practice, practice, practice". I think it represents the value of effort, and thus would be the yoked lion. Anyone minds if we change that one?
I agree with all the other ones.

Yep, glad to have you back Netopalis !
I agree with Risalius interpretation for practice, practice, practice is the value of effort and must be placed in the third place
I will choose the sixth lion for "In the end loyalty it's its own reward"

Loyalty should be the flag, in my opinion. Loyalty to Taldor, to a nation.

I'm a bit torn for 3 because I also half think it could be "Our monarch's virtues are our own.", which has three o words and monarch perhaps for the crowned lion? Practice, practice, practice is pretty oblique if its going to effort. I am convinced loyalty is the flag.
Since we've been forced to wait mind if I get one of you higher HP guys to do the placing?

Ah, was that the first one under the illusion, then yes that makes it even more unlikely. I tend to think practice as pulling something is a very oblique link, but its probably tighter than referring to the portrait for that one.

Yes, I believe the sentence "Our monarch's virtues are our own." actually explains the link between the portraits of Stavian III and he values represented by the statues.

Rysalius makes sense. His theory sounds fine with me. That third one is tricky!

LINES OF SUCCESSION:
This long scroll details
the rules of succession
throughout the history of
Taldor. It also highlights
times when the nation chose
an heir in a way that was an
exception to the rules. This
matches the description of
what the Pathfinder Society
is tasked to recover for
Princess Eutropia.
Wait... what?! So in fact my bluff earlier was based on the truth while I thinking of a lie?! That is amazingly funny!

Oh, right. You guys failed that knowledge check. The seal on the scroll is hers. That's why I asked you for Diplomacy, not Bluff. :P

I understand now! Simply hilarious :)

Since the scenario comes at an end, I'll roll my day job here:
Perform (Sing): 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (2) + 11 = 13
Too distracted by the book he's just read?

Nice thanks for running...GM :-)
Day job trapper : 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (17) + 7 = 24
I was more worried about messing up the main faction for the Taldor agents so did not take as much of an active role. Figured Fendahl had not much to gain and more to lose by doing something brash. Hopefully it is a good for their backstory.

Thanks Neto, but I am a little burnt out (as mentioned before) and I played the Blakros Matrimony as well. Thank you for running us! Aloha, everyone!

Already played it as well, sorry!
