Raulzig screams and jerks backwards as the ghoul's claw flies past him. Realizing he's on the very ledge, he decides against going toe-to-toe with a ghoul and somersaults backwards, landing in the main room again. Acrobatics Take 10 = 17, DC15 allows to ignore 10 feet of falling down
He doesn't want to risk shooting into the fray where Pashaj might come after him, so switches his crossbow to a whip.
"There are ghouls in there, Pashaj needs help!", he pants. "I think they were servants of this temple once!"

Male Human (Vudrani) Cleric (Evangelist) 1

Pashaj will attempt Acrobatics in order to avoid the AoO from both attackers. He will then roll another to mitigate falling damage. If he lands successfully in Q31, he will begin his Sermonic Performance.

Acrobatics (vs. Ghouls' CMD) - 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (15) + 6 = 21
Acrobatics (DC 15 to avoid falling damage) - 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (9) + 6 = 15

Pashaj springs backwards, flipping in mid-air and moving into a roll as he comes to the hard stone floor ten feet below. He begins a chant from deep in his throat.

Pashaj is in Q31 and has started his performance, granting all allies a +1 competence bonus to attack and damage rolls, and a +1 morale bonus to saves against fear.

Male Elf Ranger 1

At Raulzig's shout, Urdaan's eyes widen, remembering in a second every horror story Thurrin and his fellows had told him about the depths of Zolurket. He then snaps into action, drawing his axe and swinging at the nearest abomination as soon as it clears the ledge.

Possible AoO (should ghouls move past without tumbling, etc): To Hit 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6; Damage 1d10 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4

As a side note, I'm not certain if enough time has passed for the strength damage from the spiders to allow another save, or wear off. If a save is required: Fort: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (15) + 4 = 19 If it's still in effect, my to hit and damage should each be one lower.

Havok puts his scimitar away and pulls out his sling.

Raulzig somersaults backwards off the ledge to escape being toe to toe in combat he grabs his whip and give warning to the others.

Hvok discerns his current situation and switches weapons for his sling.

One ghoul follows behind Raulzig, rushing past the defense less cleric and jumping down from the ledge to the floor below to find the large barbarian at his side. The other stay atop the ledge and pounces on top of Pashaj swinging it's claws and biting at every opening, luck be with the Vudrani and even with one arm he manages to push aside most of the Ghouls attacks, but wash badly gashed on the left arm making a massive wound and drawing blood, he wards of the the ghouls paralyzing touch from harming yet another part of his body.

Garavel draws his great Falchion and swings it in a wide arch in front of him towards the Ghouls little vulnerable head, it ducks under the decapitating blow last second saving it's head.

Samuel fires a bolt from his crosbow at this newest threat, which hits into the ghouls shoulders though it hardly seems to notice.

Calain steps away from the ghoul not wanting to be touched by the thing paralyzing claws, he swings his hammer with all his strength hitting the thing square in the face and sending it flying through the air quite dead.

Pashaj jumps back off the ledge not wanting to take another hit from the deadly undead creature, he clears his throat (mostly off blood) and does his best to start his vitalizing chant.

Urdaan draws his axe and shield and stands ready for the second ghoul to follow behind Pashaj.

Poison only allows save every hour and as an hour has not passed yet it's effects are still active, one successful save negates.

Male Human (Vudrani) Cleric (Evangelist) 1

It wouldn't turn H'Vok's attack into a hit, but don't forget the +1 competence bonus to hit and damage from Sermonic Performance.

I'll be using Touch of Law on my turn, but I want to get a sense of where everybody is when my turn comes up.

Raulzig prepares his whip to trip any upcoming enemy's.

Hvok sends a sling bullet flying but his shot is poorly aim and he fumbles with the sling the bullet does not even get over the ledge just bounces harmlessly off the rock wall.

You wait but to your surprise no ghoul leaps from the ledge instead you hear the muffled fleeing feet of the undead creature as it runs down the hall shrieking loudly in it's wake, likely awareing anything above of your presence. Garavel growls low as the creature flees and yells into the damp air. "Get back here vile beast you dare flee from a fight." little does h know it could not understand even if it were near. "Comeon we have to catch it before it gathers more of it's little friends." he says to Urdaan and Calain directly indicating he wants a boost.

As there is no immediate threat combat is technically over though there is time to pursue if that is the party's will.

"I'll have to be sure to introduce you to Thurrin." Urdaan says with a dry grin as he sets to lift Garavel up. "I'm sure the two of you will get along quite well."

Urdaan and Calain boost up Garavel with ease he hold the rope in two hands and braces himself into the ground guaranteeing he can easily pull you up. One at a time Garavel Pulls you up onto the ledge, the ghouls cry's are long gone and you could not get a look as to were i had headed. The hallway leads forward to another larger well lit hallway which heads to the left and right there is also the small hidden compartment from which the ghouls exited to ambush you. Garavel searches around and grunts moving forward a good 15 feet he calls back to you. "Check that hidden path there is bound to be more to it then it seems, I doubt even ghouls would stay cooped up in a 5 by 10 room for that long." The little room the ghouls were in is only 5 feet wide 7 feet tall and ten deep, the floor slowly decends before reaching the end, it is significantly more damp than it is out here and the smell of rotting flesh is strong.

Raulzig inspects the room carefully both with his normal and magical senses, except for the sense of smell, which he tries to suppress by pressing his nose shut with his fingers. Still, the air in this place makes his eyes water.

Thanks for the CLW. I'm at 11/12 now. I assume the paralysis has worn off by now?

Pashaj's response to Raulzig's healing is a simple bow. The Vudrani stretches the arm that was limp a moment ago, then brings his hands to his chest and takes a centering breath. A moment later, he takes Garavel's hand and climbs up the ledge.

Male Elf Ranger 1

Once atop the ledge, Urdaan pauses, then reaches into his backpack and pulls out a scarf. Wrapping it firmly about his nose and mouth, the then joins Raulzig in his search of the room.

No presence of magic can be sensed in the room or nearby,it is hard to concentrate through the dire stench and you cannot make out anything out of the ordinary about the room. It is empty aside from the few rotting corpses and dark little else can be discerned.

Urdaan blinks some of the water out of his eyes and nods briefly. "The sooner we're away from this stench, the better. My elven nose doesn't seem to appreciate it much."

Male Human (Vudrani) Cleric (Evangelist) 1

Pashaj does not seem phased by the smell. He recites an Iroran verse as he presses his fingers into Calain's armor once again. Pashaj casts Light on Calain's armor, providing illumination in a 20-foot radius centered on the barbarian.

You continue on in pursuit of the ghouls the three fighters taking the front as you enter the strange burial chambers. The walls of these chambers are lined with three alcoves every ten feet, each containing a simple wooden coffin. Only moments after entering the room you hear the sounds of ghouls once again from around the corner, as three jump out from their poor hiding places, then you hear the grinding sound of stone against stone again from the chamber behind you, as a second secret passage opens from within the other and two ghouls step out to flank you. They are all robed in the same manner as the others were and each were that odd symbol around their neck.

The ghoul quickly retaliates from Urdaans attempted attack, he then crouches into his defensive position and jumps at the ranger claws high in the air, you raise your shield in time and throw him off back to the ground effectively blocking all of his attacks. The other one looks down at Hvoks tiny scorpion and hesitates attacking it, as Crucible raises it's pincers it finds the thing to be hostile and swings it's claws at the animal. The ghouls stinting claws leave a mark on the scorpion as the ghouls paralyzing touch takes effect at it's stinger falls limp on the ground. Crucible takes a total of 7 damage from the ghoul.

The other two us the benefit of the wide halls to get around to their foes and stay from arms reach, one slashes at Hvok who parry's with his scimitar, but Calain however is caught a little off guard and the ghoul makes a wide cut across his stomach drawing much blood.
