I've been considering putting the top slide on the slides presentation for some time now. I think this is the trigger for me to do so.

I'm a bit disappointed that not a single one of you attempted the check to identify this creature at all. I put three separate bits of information under spoilers. Even someone without any ranks in Knowledge Religion could hit a DC 10 (that's the maximum that you could hit).

Genuinely forgot untrained knowledge checks were a thing that allowed and worked like that, that's on me. As far as I can tell, Layaali's the only one who's actually trained in Knowledge Religion, and she's, of course, a bit preoccupied.

I was also under the impression that untrained knowledge checks were not allowed based on this chart but I will have Drael take a shot at it on his turn.

That's a good reference, Drael. If you click on any 'Knowledge' link, there's an easily-missed line down near the bottom that says:

"Training: You cannot make an untrained Knowledge check with a DC higher than 10."

You can always make a Knowledge check - even untrained - with the understanding that you'll never be able to get higher than a 10. You can't 'Take 10' on it (or 'Take 20'), but if you roll and get a 10 or higher, than you can know what a DC 10 might tell you (if anything).

I hope that clears up some things.

Drael, if you're using Kardswann's great axe, then the damage should be 1d12, not 2d8. Additionally, as it is a special weapon, it's going to do an extra 2d6 to the damage that you'd roll, plus all of your usual pluses (not forgetting that it's a +1 weapon).

It would normally be 1d12, but Drael enlarged himself, which increased the weapon die. I did forget the bane effect, so I'll reroll that right now.

Razif - you see it as a stalagmite; Min can tell you that it’s a column because Min has seen through the illusory terrain projected by Xulthos.

Drael - I meant for you to add on your bane damage, not reroll your previous rolls. Sorry for my confusing words. You have done 25pts of damage to Xulthos with that attack.

I'll be away from home for the next 24 hours and got my own game to run on Sunday, I hope to be able to sneak in some time to level my character! Good news is, it's not an especially eventful level up. Get to pick a new favored enemy and probably taking Rapid Shot for my feat.

This is my oldest continuous PbP game - three years and a few months now. When I started this game, I knew nothing (Jon Snow) about doing this.

I still know next to nothing, but I do know how to make Discord servers, and that's woefully missing for our game.

That conclusion must've taken a while to write, absolutely wonderful work on it! And thank you for taking us this far, I've always had a great time with it.

I'm still very keen to keep going with the AP, personally, and am looking forward to its continuation. No objections to a break, though. It's busy times over there, I can imagine.

Hey everyone! With permission from our benevolent GM, I just wanted to let you all know I'm preparing to run an Agents of Edgewatch PbP soon.
