I did consider it for the horsemanship, but there is just so many other skills also I need at least a rank in.
Edit: XP expenditure works the same as in character creation correct? Just want to make sure I remember it right.
Regarding the XP, do we have to wait until our characters have some downtime to increase our abilities, or can we spend the points immediately?
You can spend it immediately.
Okay, I was waffling about saving these points for increasing a Trait, but my guy's a courtier, he should know this stuff.

Hey, guys. Sorry about the delay. Some things in my personal life have taken a turn, and it's caused me to back out of most of my games.
I still plan on running this game though. I'm hanging on to it.
So it's been a while since the beginning of this adventure, and I just threw a lot of names at you. Does anybody need a brief refresher of everything that has happened?

Meant to say this after the tournament, but we moved on so fluidly I forgot!
So... this is my first time playing a Scorpion, and whilst wanting to play close to type, I'm also aware that sometimes that can come across as annoying, which impacts other player's enjoyment of the game, which is the last thing I want!
This long and rambling post is simply to say, if Miyuki gets annoying, say so and I will adjust her behavior :)
Please be annoying! You play a scorpion and otherwise we would miss half the fun!
Between extra work on the job and family crises (nothing truly serious, just numerous and unavoidable) I have been largely AWOL this past week. I've been leaving the house intending to log in when I get back and wind up crashing into unconsciousness when I return.
My apologies, I'm back now and the b.s. is mostly over.
P.S.: Miyuki, you're doing just fine, I can tell that it's all in-character. Backhanded compliments are a must for Crane or Scorpion faces. If anything I think I've been playing it way too civil for a Mantis. :)
I have no problems with the way Miyuki is playing her character.
