Just an update for you. I've had Meniere's disease for 30 years now. I haven't had a bad spell in over 5 years but last week it flared up again and put me on my back.
It's fading again and from experience I should be good to go in a day or two. Thanks for your patience.

My father has just had an operation. He's had a malignant melanoma removed from one of his toes. Needed a skin graft.
He's been told to bed rest for seven days, so I will be spotty with my updating over the next week while helping my mother with him.
Dad is the worlds worst patient, hates being dependent on others and hates being told what to do. Mum was a nurse for 50 years and takes no shit from anyone, so it's going to be fun. :)

I had a sudden dizzy spell on the bus to work, out of the blue my vision went black and I was holding onto the rail for dear life as everything spun horribly.
At first it was just the sudden blackout and dizzy spells plaguing me, then I started to get bad tinnitus before the attacks. The tinnitus is now permanent but I haven't suffered any dizzy spells for years. Until now. :)

Reknar. As I said at first I would be hit by a dizzy spell from out of the blue. Sitting at work at a terminal when everything goes black and I headbutt the keyboard. Or just watching something when it suddenly felt as if I had just stopped spinning wildly.
Followed by feeling very nauseous and tired when it wears off.
Might pay to get it checked out at the doctors, with management it becomes much easier to live with.
Yeah, obviously I need to check a doctor about it - may even be something related to my sight. I get the feeling I am starting to need glasses :P

I went to turn it on but it didn't boot... Then there was a burning smell and the smallest tiny trail of smoke from the side. Small or not that's bring it to the professionals to fix territory.
It's off for repair now but that could be five weeks.

The week from hell continues, I'm battling bureaucracy for new hearing aids at the moment. And I'm arriving home too tired to focus. Hopefully things will have cleared up by Friday and I can get back to doing something I like.

Sorry about last night, I got on to update the games and the board was painfully slow? I did two games and it was getting slower with each one, so I had to drop the updates.

I was traveling for work and was using a crappy hotel connection, so everything was painfully slow. Anyway, no worries.
I've also noticed that Paizo's mobile site seems to be malfunctioning. It makes me wonder how strapped for cash Paizo is that the site recurringly has problems.
Malfunctioning not only on mobile - site has been acting up for a long time now. Since that nasty update/migration they did a few months back...
Yesterday was a public holiday in NZ, today and tomorrow I'll be preparing for heading out to look after my father for a week while Mum has a holiday visiting her grandchildren in Australia.
