Kevros Droverson
Blood, is Masota a NPC now since she is MIA?
BloodWolven
|
Technically yes she is a NPC, I like to leave the opportunity open for characters to come back in. She will likely stay at the fort when you head out.
Kevros Droverson
Angeus
"Well friend, i want information: how many in your band, hideouts , patrols ...well, everything about you're merry little band. Of course you don't have to talk to me, just remember there's a noose with yer name on it outside..."
Kevros Droverson
I guess I should hide my post since not everyone is present ... lol
BloodWolven

Oleg nods to you, Kevros, and he looks at you and waits a bit more, if nothing else he goes down to tend his garden some.
Kevros Droverson

Oleg nods and heads off. Soon enough Masota comes up onto the palisade with you Kevros.

Angeus
Angeus regards the man, nodding "That agrees with what Conner told me. What's your name, then? Why are you following the likes of Happ and Kressle?"

Speeding things up a little, Angeus has interrogated all four of the bandits, except the leader.
BloodWolven
|
Kevros do you call a meeting of the group?
Angeus do you want to interrogate the leader?
Sala do you want to stretch the leader?
Just throwing out some prompts.
Angeus
Finished with the last bandit, Angeus comes and stands before Happ. Looking down on him, she says "Your turn."
Hoisting the man up she pushes him into the shed.
"Now your loyal brothers have spilled on most of the details of your little band, but I'd love to hear your version."
Intimidation 1d20 + 7 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 7 + 1 = 16
S'ala
S'ala sits and waits patiently in the wagon bed waiting for the interrogation of prisoners to end. Patience is one of the disciplines he learned from an early age and he empties his thoughts and meditates silently, waiting.

Quince Medvyed
I would like to thank the last bandit for defining unrepentant for us.
Quince makes rounds to the companions and suggests that when questioning is done we should all get together and compare notes.
Kevros Droverson
Kevros has kind of lost track of everyone so he is going to walk around the keep to track everyone down and say to them as he finds them, "Do you guys have enough information to have a meeting regarding our goals here? I also have information to share."
BloodWolven
|
Happs is kinda a hopeless case... but alas, I always think in that situation of death or repentance most people would: repent and run away or actually repent.
Angeus
Angeus looks at Happ for a moment, her expression unreadable "Look Happ, we don't need to be friends here, I just want information on Kessel and the Elk Lord; no information, you hang. Very simple. Our backers are looking to take over down here and in the process the uncooperative will be disposed of. Permanently."
Bluff 1d20 + 7 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 7 + 1 = 11
Seeing that she won't be getting anything else out of Happ, Angeus leaves the shed.

Kevros Droverson
Kevros continues to look for everyone.
What, everyone is in the shed?
Quince Medvyed
no sala is in the wagon. Masota is on the wall. Quince is waiting to meet with everyone when the interrogations done.
Quince nods hello to Kevros.
S'ala
S'ala sees the soldier coming down from the palisade wall and ends his meditation. He rises and nods to Kevros.
"This one was unsucessful in getting information from the lead bandit. He seemed quite unrepentant and only told fabrications and stories. They have taken him into the shed, but there is little hope he will give up much. This one is prepared to hear what the others may know when they have completed interrogations.
He jumps down from the wagon bed and follows Kevros to his meeting with Quince.
BloodWolven

"Well how about that sniveling weasel of a spy conner? You may want to be wary of him, those fools just think I am an uncouth patsy of Kessel, it is a good act but they only know half the truth." He coughs and spits on the ground. "Kessel gets her orders from the Stag Lord, a bandit lord of sorts down south, it sounds like he is holed up in a monastery or something with specially scary magical protections of one sort or another." You can tell that Happs knows more than what he is saying, though he confirms several other things Conner and the other bandits had said as well. He coughs several more times as if something is wrong with him, and he spits again. This time what he spits up is dark and red.
Angeus
"You look like your in a bad way there." Angeus says , motioning toward the blood on the ground. "You've more to say...I can tell. Perhaps we can help you if you help us."

Kevros Droverson
Thanks Quince, I knew where Masota and Angeus were, I was wondering where you and S'ala were
Kevros found Quince and S'ala who are ready for a meeting. With S'ala in tow, Kevros knocks on the shed door.
Knock, Knock, on the shed's door
Kevros waits for a response before entering so as not to distract the interrogators and cause a prisoner escape/hostage situation.
Saren Elken
Saren is waiting just outside listening in, with knife in hand twirling it as if he was bored.
Angeus
Cocking her head to one side, Angeus says "Curse? You believe you're cursed?"
At that moment there's a knock at the door. Angeus calls out "Hold On!" then turns back to Happ "My friends grow impatient it seems. Tell me about this curse."
Kevros Droverson
Kevros nods to Saren and replies to Angeus, "Ok, take your time." ... Kevros looks to Saren, "Saren, how are things going?"
Saren Elken
Saren takes a few steps to get close to Kevros then in a hushed whisper Saren says, "As good as can be expected, most of the bandits have spilled their guts without much more than me slamming them into the wall. Angeus has done wonderful playing the merciful one. It sounds like Happ is willing to give up, but reserved."

Angeus
Angeus tilts her head at Happ "Why are you ..." ryhming ?
"Wait here. Don't move!" she says then steps outside.
Seeing Saren and Kevros outside the shed, she says softly "Our leader Happ is a bit reticent. Claims he's cursed and won't tell us more unless we help him first. I don't know anything about curses. You?"
Kevros Droverson
Kevros shrugs, "Not my expertise but Akrolon, our wizard, may know? Is this all you need and then we can have a group meeting?"
Quince Medvyed
Quince looks over, "I will find Akrolon, perhaps between the two of us we can determine the nature of the curse, though the solution may be beyond us." Quince looks directly at Angeus, "Those who spoke to Hap earlier considered him a hard case. Will helping him be irrelevant if he is deemed "unrepentant.""
Saren Elken
Saren just keeps shrugging at peoples comments and questions.
Angeus
Angeus looks away , thinking over Quince's question . Looking back she says "Hard to say, I just know that he has some information we need. Helping him is the right thing to do in any case. "
Quince Medvyed
Quince nods thinking it over. "I ask because, it is possible his cure involves travel and expenses to cure. If you feel he is repentant I would be interested to know. If not perhaps we need to get the matter of his guilt and judgement behind us."
Kevros Droverson
Kevros adds, "He can also be just blowing smoke up our arses and delaying the inevitable."
Saren Elken
Saren snickers at your dilemma.
No one has actually spoken to Alkron about the situation, nor Narcissa. Kevros did you send Stalker out for recon yet?
Quince Medvyed
Laughs at Saren, "I am glad you are amused." He turns and calls for the wizard starts wandering toward where he saw him last.
BloodWolven
|
Alkron looks up from his book, he is at one of the benches next to the fire pit. "Yes Quince, how can I help you?"
Kevros Droverson
No, not yet. I didn't want to send him until after the meeting just in case there is something he should know.
Quince Medvyed
"Apparently one of our guests is under some kind of curse or compulsion. Perhaps you might know what ails him. He motions for Alkron to follow.
Kevros are you saying we should not go in?
If there is no objection to us investigating Happs problem.
"Who did you cross to end up like this?"

Alkron follows Quince, if Kevros says they can't enter, Alkron goes in anyway. Alkron leaves the door open.
Alkron casts detect magic, prods the man, and burns then spreads some incense around him. If you have detect magic you can see runes in the air.
Happs responds to Quince in a gruff voice, "You of course." He then spits at the ground with dark blood being most of the spittle.
After a half hour or so, Alkron speaks, "Yes this man is cursed, did you accept anything from a strange individual?"
Happs sighs in resignation.
Alkron speaks up again, "We either need a remove curse, or I can do the ritual to try and remove it though it will take at least a few days."
Quince Medvyed
Quince looks back at Happ and with the door open can likely be heard, "Whatever curse has befallen you the true malady you suffer is that you are a fool. I wonder if our places were reversed if you would be working to come up with a cure. Yet we have not only kept you alive till now, we have healed one of your fallen comrades. You think us fools for our kindness. I caution you. It is your words and cooperation that effect how much mercy is applied to the justice that will be brought against you."
Kevros Droverson
Kevros does not prevent Alkron from entering and he enters with the both of them.
Hearing the news, Kevros addresses Alkron, "Alkron, are you able to determine what ill effect the curse causes? It is imperative that we know."
