Oh yes, been done with leveling up. And if everyone is giving the okay on the proposed loot distribution system, that can be finished quite quickly as well. Actually, might as well ask now: would Vaghn be able to purchase the following items in Ravengro? Or should I ask around in character?

The buckler should be available from the Smith. Not sure if the local 'store' etc can/could provide the backpack.

Or... ooh, what about a darkwood buckler? Costs 203 gp instead of 155 gp, but weighs half as much...

Hmm - will need to re-add the motivations and instincts. They didn't get saved today as I thought.

That aside - I should be good on the character level and abilties.

As for equipment, I think I am staying with everything in my list for the most part, so what we discussed the other day sounds workable.

Can we get a charge number of the Wand of Lesser Restoration, RGM?

Things I would consider:

-Bag of Holding for the party.
-A new Wand of Cure Light Wounds.

In another day or so, would it help if I map out items that would be:
a)Individual, b)Healing Gear, c)Party Loot - please advise.

So - based on that and assuming that it is 2nd level spell wand, then the initial cost is 4,500gp, which would sell 2475 (@55%) for a full wand of lesser restoration.

So, in it's current state, it would be valued at 544.50 by my reckoning.

Taking Asmo's tally from above for the Health Pool (3,114.75) and subtracting this amount, leaves us with a new total of 2570.25.
If we deduct a new Wand of Cure Light Wounds (750), then that leaves the Health Pool with a total of 1820.25 gp.

So - assuming this works for everyone, the Health gear now includes:

-Wand of Cure Light Wounds (7 Charges)
-Wand of Cure Light Wounds (50 Charges)
-Healing Kit
-Wand of Lesser Restoration (11 Charges)

Please advise if that sounds good.

Works for me. I will try to get all the questions answered later today and figure out what I am getting for equipment since I do not think that I have enough to get a headband unless someone takes Craft Wondrous Items.

True, might not be able to. Keep in mind that we are at less than half normal WBL according to my calculations, so we'll be getting goodies at much later levels than would normally be expected.

Asmo - You're also one level ahead. You're only supposed to be level 4 leaving this. You'll catch up, I'm sure.

I always love magic items, but realistically, a good DM usually balances things and as a result I end up forgetting about many of the magic items I have. You do not want to know how many times I have looked at a character and suddenly realized that I had a wand or potion or scroll that would have been quite useful in some previous combat.

I am sure that if I were at a table and had the list of items in front of me, it would be different, but on the pbp I forget this stuff all the time.

Hopefully - my obsession for equipment management can help keep all that out and memorable. ;-)

Not great, but I have attempted to put together the Motivations and Instincts for Alexa. I shall attempt to make them better as we go forward, but have a lot going on in RL at this point.

Looking at all the possible equipment, I think that I will purchase:

I do not see much else useful and think that banking it for something else would be wise. I can also purchase a Wand of Mage Armor if people think this would be wise. I will get 5 hours if Madeline casts Mage Armor on me, but only 1 with a wand.

Sounds like a good deal. A wand has 50 charges when bought, yes? So, that's quite a long time of effective mage armor.

Wand sounds like a good idea, given that I hope most combats don't last an hour.

You guys want to postpone the game until after the holidays? Things seem slow right now.

I am ready to keep moving, although things will slow some over the next 2 weeks. I will still get posts in most mornings and evenings.

Totally random, but whenever Weehawk's name gets mentioned, I keep thinking of Fennimore Cooper's protagonist names in his novels - Natty Bumppo; Hawkeye, etc.

What's everyone doing for New Years? Big plans? Drunken debauchery? None of the above like me?

Taking the kids to a small amusement park in northern New Hampshire called Santa's Village. On New Years Eve, they do a one price for everything including food. It is pretty good. My guess is that this is their way of getting rid of all the supplies before shutting the park for the winter. They will have fireworks at about 9pm and then it is off to bed. My boys are 7 and 9, no midnight for them.

Pretty much the same I found myself doing as Christmas....Working a normal shift.

*Shrug* You take the good with the bad.

Since I work in Event productions, will spend most of the week setting up for other people's New Year's Eve parties. Once the dust is settled, will probably get off in time to meet with friends and/or relatives to pop open the bubbly for the turn of the new year.

There are a bunch of fill-in-the-blank things. You can type whatever you want. I usually just add it to the end of the "Class".

Here, you can cut and paste this, just paste it after your class/level and then make any necessary changes.

Well, it depends. The GF and family are Stateside, so I'll probably just go out locally. Being that I live in an "alcohol free" Muslim country, I suspect there will be a fair bit of drinking. I don't think it'll make it to full blow debauchery, though.
