The two Tower Girls quickly reload their hand-crossbows and take further shots at the Dwarf in their line of sight.

kennos touches gelbor chanting and making weird signals with his hands, gelbor starts to vanish from sight right in front of everyones eyes

Domingo watches as the crossbow bolts fly at Drazhak, he sees one or two bolts thud into the dwarf and curses.

Drazhak doesn't flinch as the first bolt strikes, when the second does, he curses aloud and picks up his axe and dons his shield in readiness for the combat that is to come.

Gelbor feeling Kennos touch him, suddenly feels different. He then see's he's been turned invisible and move up to the table. W29

Tower Girls
The two Girls loose their hand crossbows, each scoring hits on Drazhak but the tiny bolts only cause minimal damage to the burly Dwarf, sticking into the meat of his bicep and upper thigh.

Drazhak
In response, the Cleric brings his axe and shield to bare with grim intentions. I offer you peace and you beg for war! he roars in indignation.

Domingo
The warrior glides across the ancient floor with nimble steps, delivering a broad slash that slices deeply into both Girl’s chests.

Kennos
Calling upon his latent power, the bard grants his companion the gift of invisibility and urges him to put it to deadly use.

Gelbor
Gelbor had always been able to remain unseen if he so wished but turning invisible was a new experience altogether. He strides confidently toward his enemy, and drives his short blade through her heart. She slumps to the ground in a heap.

Davos
The wizard takes aim with his spell and a thin line of ice streaks out toward the remaining Tower Girl, coating her arm in a chill frost.

Round 2 – Enemy Turn

The remaining Tower Girl draws something from her belt and hurls it at Domingo as she beats a retreat to the South.

Suddenly, out of the shadows lurches a hunched figure. You see that it looks like an oversized, bipedal rat, with long mangy fur and red lamp-like eyes. With a hiss it slashes its shortsword at Domingo. V27

Yes you were flat-footed because it was using stealth and you didn't make the perception check. I think I'm going to roll perception checks for you becuase it will be quicker. In that case I didn't want to post asking you to roll a perception check and then wait for the response before posting the wereat's attack. Its something I'm going to bring up in discussion because it can create artificial situatiosn and be tempting to meta-game. For example, if you go into a dark room and I ask for a perception check, even if you fail you will assume there is someone in there and potentially act differently.

As for an attack of opportunity. Yes her movement does provoke one. I forgot to roll an acrobatics check but never mind, I also forgot to roll a 20% miss chance on my attacks because of the dim light so its all fair. You hit and I think your minimum damage cuts her down.

Also, Domingo you should have an additional +1 to hit on your attacks because of the boon you received from the monument.

I also had -2 to ac because of cleave. I forgot about the +1 th though

Drazhak brandished his holy symbol and speaks in tongues, the only recognisable word is Abadar. He then moves quickly to take up a position from which to charge the beast.

Tower Girls
The remaining gang member reaches into her belt to pull out a tanglefoot bag, as she steps back to throw she leaves herself exposed and Domingo takes advantage to dramatic effect. His wickedly sharp blade slices through muscle and bone, sending her arm spinning through the air to land with a wet thump. She falls to the ground, screaming in agony as her life blood spurts out but her cries fade to a whimper and then nothing.

Were-rat
The horrible rat creature looms out of the shadows and slices a deep gash in the unsuspecting Domingo's flank before easily blocking his retort.

Drazhak
Calling upon the power of his god for divine protection, Drazhak moves to a move advantageous position.

Davos
The wizard continues with his frost assault, sending a beam of frigid air out at the creature who is able to duck out of the way at the last moment.

Kennos
Recognizing that he would rather keep some distance between himself and the rat, Kennos cracks his barbed whip in its direction but the attack catches the corner of the wall.

Gelbor
Gelbor moves to a position where he can strike at the monster. He doesn't know what it is but relies on his instinct and lunges for the throat only to see his strike deflected by the creature's own blade.

Round 3 - Enemy Turn

The were-rat attacks Domingo and then takes a 5ft step to its right (X27)

Round 3 - Heroes Turn

When it is my turn I'm going to cast magic weapon on my axe then move to Y29
Drazhak raises his holy symbol and calls on the power of Abadar to bless his axe. He then moves to block the beast's escape route, ready to cut it down should it try to pass.

Domingo smiles broadly as he in turn neatly turns aside the beasts blade, moving like liquid he neatly steps to the side so he is once again face to face with the creature.

The creature again lashes out at Domingo but the swordsman, aware of the danger, is able to defend himself with his superior technique.

However, he sacrificed accuracy for defence and his own attack is also turned aside.

Drazhak
The Dwarf sees his companions surround the monster and fearing her retreat, moves to block the means of egress.

Kennos
Drawing his rapier, the bard's level stare and words of encouragement lift the entire team.

Gelbor
The rogue moves to a better position and once again strikes out, this time slicing into the rat's flesh.

Once again the party's front line is frustrated. Although Drazhak lands a crunching blow on the creature, it barely flinches and hisses at him, sending strings of spittle in his direction.

Gelbor moves into position behind the table, getting as close as possible.

Davos
Finally realising the threat they face, Davos calls out his warning.

Drazhak, in midst of the desperate combat drops thinks I don't believe it! Not a scratch, I will have to think of something else. Finally my friedns are using their silver weapons, though Dom has taken some punishment. If you can't hurt then heal. . He drops his battleaxe and reaches out to touch Dom. Mumbling unknown phrases, he calls forthe the power of his God to aid his friend.

Were rat
Again the sword snakes out but this time with a flick of the wrist she runs it along Domingos bicep. It spots Gelbor popping up from behind the table and ducks under his thrown dagger.

Finally able to land a blow, the warrior sees his silver blade bite I yo the creatures flank but it still fends off Kennos whilst Drazhak closes some of Domingos wounds.

Domingo smiles as his blade opens the beasts foul hide. He hears Draz muttering behind him and suddenly a warmth suffuses his body and he can feel his deep wounds closing, slightly startled by the unexpected sensation his defence wavers and again the rats sword opens a fresh wound.
