Davos sees Kennos and Drazhak walk in and waves them over to the table
"Evening Drazhak, manage to get your pray answered by the monument?

The Nag's Foot is a typical Magnimarian pub. It is warm, comfortable, not the most up-market but with a friendly atmosphere.
You are all served drinks in good order and offered menus of what is currently available to eat.
Gelbor is unable to join you, currently laid up as he is with a fever and swollen joints.
The evening will cost 4sp, meal and 3 mugs of ale. Food is of common quality, chicken stew, beef and ale pie made with the cheapest cuts, breads but no butter, cheeses, root vegetables and so on. Ale is 4cp per mug, wine is served by the pitcher (3 glasses) and costs 2sp.
Don Domingo Delagroza
Domingo smiles as the others join him and davos at the table, draining his glass he re fills it from the pitcher of wine in front of him.
gelbor is not well at all, shortly after you left he suddenly felt very ill, he is in bed at the moment full of fever, his joints are all swollen and very painful, I was going to ask drazhak to take a look at him once you got back.
How did your investigations go? Did you find anything out?
Sheila has told me we should get some silver weapons before we go up against this lycanthrope. And dont get bitten, apparantly this lycanthropy is very bad.
Drazhak Grimbold
"Thank you Davos, but no. However a moment's contemplation of one's god is never a waste. Dom Domingo, Gelbor is unwell you say? I must tend to him. Excuse me gentlemen."
Drazhak nods to everyone and leaves.
Kennos Slynt
This all sounds very serious maybe we shouldn't drink as much as I planned too, Lycanthropy you say I think I have heard a story about that

When Drazhak arrives back at the Lodge he finds Gelbor in some discomfort. His joints have swollen considerably. Some, particularly his legs, are clearly filled with fluid and are about twice their normal size.
He also has a strong fever and beads of sweat roll down his face.
Sheila has so far had her staff treat him with cold compresses and given him a mixture for the pain.
Drazhak, by beating the disease DC you can work tirelessly through the night to treat Gelbor. He will receive 2 ability points back per affected score. You can also treat his disease. With a second heal check you can give him a +4 bonus on his next day's fortitude save. You, however, perversion be fatigued.
Kennos Slynt
Nahh, I can't really remember it it was about a boy being bitten by a wolf then becoming a wolf that howls at the full moon , ahh damn it alcohol you seem to have erased that memory.
Kennos then finishes off the rest of his ale and wipes the foam from his mouth. He stares into the bottom of his glass
Ahh you are a sweet but cruel mistress
He then looks up to the others
Maybe we should head back soon I really don't want to erase any more stories from my head tonight and if we are to drink and dine best we do it as a group when Gelbor is fitter, it may take all four of you to carry me home
he laughs out loud to him self
Drazhak Grimbold
Drazhak hustles through the streets towards Heidmarch Mannor. His brow furrowed with concernd for Gelbor. He inwardly curses himself as he nears his destination.
Fool of a Dwarf, you should have spotted his ailment! If only I hadn't been so keen to visit the Guardians, I may have taken more time to tend to the needs of the others than to my own curiosity. "Abadar, let me get to him in time!"
When I get there J. I'm going to do a heal check to find out if I can identify the ailment and to see if I can stop it getting worse. I'll use a Hero point too if necessary to boost my roll.

"I went through every book I could get my hands on in that library all I managed to find out is accounts detailing how the ancient empires created it only for it to be shattered in an enormous arcane explosion that resulted in the emperor's death."
Davos looks at dom with a displeased look about the news of Gelbor
"Lycanthropy you say yes that seems quite serious, but yes we must not dwindle here for too much longer, lets finish our drinks and head back "

Gelbor Halus
Gelbor tosses and turns in his bed, drenched from the sweat he mutters half whispered words. "Mother.." Throwing off his blanket and fighting with the people trying to help him. "You can't hurt me anymore!" Half heartedly he swings at the people helping him but is too weak to do anything.
Drazhak Grimbold
"it will be ok Gelbor, I know what afflicts thee and I will work on you until you are free from this fever."
Drazhak removes his mail, knowing it will be a long night. From his tunic he produces a leather wrapped bundle containing the ephemera of the healer. Spreading it out on the floor beside Gelbor's bed, he speaks to those that have been treating Gelbor.
"I need more clean water, hot and cold; and some more clean towels. Get me some fruit and bread too. Gelbor will be hungry when we have beaten this."
Drazhak also grips his holy symbol and places it on Gelbor's chest. He silently prays to Abadar. Abadar, provide thy blessing for this poor soul. What grace you give me I pass to him.

Drazhak calls for one of the Heidmarch staff. When they appear, he motions to Gelbor squirming on the bed in the grip of his fever. "He is in a bad way. I need to find the others from my group. I believe they are in the Nag's foot Inn. do you know it? Good! Could you arrange for someone to bring them here urgently please? I would be in your debt."
He then grips his holy symbol and mumbles under his breath. Th epower of his god flows through him as he casts a spell.
I cast Deathwatch to check Gelbor's status.

Aemon rubs his eye's, it feels like he's not slept in weeks. He's spent his time wisely following his prey, getting what is needed to strike at vengeance, something he hopes will bring him peace. I feel like i've been to hell and back to get to this point. He almost fell asleep but is awoken by someone getting the life beaten out of them down the street. His heart stops for a second as if he was falling into a dark pit of all the demons that follow him now.
Everything i've done to get to this point... I'd do it all again in a heartbeat. Aemon finally awake realises where he is, he's cold and soaked to the bone, he feel's nothing anymore after that night, the one person that cared about him dashed away. He quickly checks for his weapon, making sure he hadn't lost it.Still there. He signs in relief, and pats the hilt.
The sleep takes over him again, fitful dreams attack him, tell he's awoke by a woman's scream. Mother! He shouts as he awoken, then realising where he is starts to cry. What have i become... Images of that night flash in his head. That animal. He grits his teeth and shouts You can't hurt me anymore! I have nothing to lose
After a night of fitful sleep Gelbor wakes up to see Drazhak tending to him, rubbing his eye's he sits up.
"What happened? I had some strange dreams. But i'm feeling a lot better, i guess i owe that to you Draz?" A small smile shows on his face, a more sincere one than what people are used to seeing.
"How long was i out? it felt like days, jumping in and out of fevered dreams. I felt my demons grasping at my feet pulling me down."A more somber look flashes over his face as he starts to remember.
Drazhak Grimbold
Drazhak smiles at Gelbor and offers him some of the food that was provided and some cool, clear water to drink. "Tis only water, but you should not have anything stronger. It is good to see you are on the road to recovery my friend. You were infected with a rather unpleasant affliction known as Filth Fever. It could have killed you, but by the grace of Abadar, and through your own resilience it seems we have beaten it. You are still weak though and will need a day of complete rest with me tending to you."
He rubs his eyes and thinks to himself Thank you lord for helping me. By my beard! That was a difficult night and today is going to be tougher. I am tired, but cannot rest until I know that Gelbor is completely healed. The others will have to be patient.

An exhausted character moves at half speed, cannot run or charge, and takes a –6 penalty to Strength and Dexterity. After 1 hour of complete rest, an exhausted character becomes fatigued. A fatigued character becomes exhausted by doing something else that would normally cause fatigue.
So you basically need an entire day to rest and recover yourself.
From the point you arrive back at Sheilas Gelbor and Drazhak will need three days to rest and recover. Anyone doing anything in that time?
Kennos Slynt
Well guys since our normal personal shopper is some what predisposed, I shall go out get us some silver weapons? I would probably suggest some ranged weapons because you don't want to get close enough for this Wolf thing to bite us
On a successful attack with a silvered slashing or piercing weapon, the wielder takes a –1 penalty on the damage roll (with a minimum of 1 point of damage). The alchemical silvering process can't be applied to nonmetal items, and it doesn't work on rare metals such as adamantine, cold iron, and mithral.
HP/inch 10
Hardness 8
(Add the prices too the base cost)
Ammunition +2 gp (I think this is per single arrows or bolt check with DM though)
Light weapon +20 gp
One-handed weapon, or one head of a double weapon +90 gp
Two-handed weapon, or both heads of a double weapon +180 gp
What do you all want? and what weapons does Gelbor use ill get his one as well, ill just assuming he wants one, I don't think he wants any other diseases any time soon
Assuming I can find someone who makes silver weapons in the city I'm going to buy myself a silver dagger and 5 arrows costing 35gps And I will also pick every up what they want so when they say what they what can we just say they told me and I got it for them?

Drazhak you have done a great job here, we are fortunate you have joined us.
all that shit he had flowing into his neck must have been rotting him from the inside, he has been lucky. To have that filth flowing through your veins...It makes me shudder when I think back, all that foul sewage! Ill be glad not to visit such a place again any time soon.
Turning to the others he agrees with kennos
we need to get some silver weapons, but they are expensive. Is there no ther way of damaging these creatures? Times like these I miss Ralph, I bet he would have mixed up some concoction to smear on my blade that would have sorted these lycans out, that or blown me up!

Magnimar is called the City of Monuments for good reason. Every square has its column or arch, every crossroads its fountain or statue. Some of these grand monuments are more than simple remembrances of past glory; they are imbued with ancient, subtle magicks that grant boons to those who know how to access them. Whether gifts to the city from long-dead mages, or the lingering favor of the empyreal spirits who are still revered in Magnimar, the subtle gifts of these majestic structures continue to bless the inhabitants of the city.
In general, the various monuments offer their blessings to whoever seeks them, except those of particularly vile and vicious character. There is a popular tale of the fate of Rendrin Stoval, a notorious rake who tried to gain the blessings of the Battle of Charda before a duel against the brother of a woman he had raped. Rather than gaining the quickness of wrist the monument was famous for granting, Stoval’s right hand clenched up in a palsy, forcing him to fight left-handed, which resulted in his getting run through on the first pass.

He heads across town to the The Battle of Charda (Beacon’s Point) a well known monument that is supposed to favour warriors.

J: yeah I'll take 10 on that roll.
Drazhak looks exhausted. He can barely stand. " Thanks you my friends, but I would do the same for every one of you. I apologise but I really must rest. Dom Domingo, if you say we need silver weapons, please obtain for me some sling bullets. I should have sufficient gold. Here is my pouch. I trust you to get the best deal you can and if my gold will help supply the others, then feel free to use it to your best judgement."
He tosses a pouch of gold to the warrior and stumbles away to his room to sleep.

Domingo drinks in the awsome monument, something about it calls to the warrior spirit within him.
He can see several well armed men around he area, they all seem to be challenging the monument in one way of another, brandishing weapons, shouting, swearing.
this place makes my blood sing, It's almost like like rush of blood you only experience in battle, a most potent place
Striding smoothly toward the great monument, Domingo stops suddenly, jaw clenched and body tensed for combat, like liquid steel his sword flows into his hands as he adopts the first attack position.
i am Domingo Delagroza, prepare to die! he doesn't shout like some of the others , but his voice and tone convey his deadly intent nonetheless and it carries no idle threat but rather a promise.
The effect he feels from the monument is hard to put into words, but he feels more than ready for the challenges he is about to face, his sword he knows will strike true and cut deep.
Drazhak Grimbold
Drazhak trudges to his room and despite his exhaustion, carefully arrays his armoud, weapons and other gear neatly. A creature of habit, he then kneels and takes some time to quietly reflect on the events of the last two days. He silently calls on his god to grant him favour for the next day.

Domingo makes his way back from the early markets, a large bag of fruits under one arm along with several parcels wrapped in plain cloth.
