Drazhak Grimbold
Thanks. Will take 10 and reduce the duration. Could I do the same for the others?
Drazhak takes some herbs from his healing kit, mixes them with his cup of water and drains it in one. That should help, I wonder how the others are feeling this morning. They drank way more than I. He thinks to himself as he gingerly tackles his breakfast of dry bread and fruit.

Once you're back together I don't see why not. You are also aware of a concoction called Alchemist Kindness
ALCHEMIST'S KINDNESS
Favored by young rakes and other well-to-do inebriates, this crystalline powder resembles salt. Mixed with water, it makes a fizzing cocktail that eliminates the effects of a hangover within 10 minutes of drinking it.
Kennos Slynt
Kennos stumbles into the dining room holding his head
Did anyone catch the number of the stage coach that hit me last night?
He slumps into a chair
i don't think i can handle food this morning, or the crows if thats where you wish to set out we may have to wait one more day
JZ-Sheila Heidmarch
With varying degrees of hangover you make your way across the city to the Heidmarch Lodge. It is a clear, bright day, the sunlight dappling in the waters of the fountains in Naos and casting long morning shadows from the colossal statues that dot the cityscape.
You are shown into Sheila's study where she is waiting with a smile.
Morning gents, how are you all? Ready to make your way into the Crow?
Don Domingo Delagroza
Domingo breezes into the room where the others are all attempting to eat breakfast and he laughs as he sees the obvious effects of last nights binge,
good morning all, I am starving. What's for breakfast today? I could really go for another greasy hog sandwich today with a nice runny egg on top!
Grabbing himself some toast and tea he begins to slather it with butter and jam before tucking in with gusto
last night was a good night my friends we should do it again soon, though by the looks of you lot we might need to drink less next time.
Draz I'm disappointed in you, I didn't think you drank that much my friend you don't look well. And kennos I know that barmaid turned you down but you didn't have to drink the bar dry to get over her[b] he laughs hard again [b] she wasn't even pretty though through the fog of drink I'm sure she was a princess !
Don Domingo Delagroza
domingo sweeps his hat off and bows low in front of mrs heidmarch
good morning lady heidmarch, you are as beautiful as this fine morning. We are eager to be off , well some of us are anyway. and he grins as he replaces his hat
JZ-Sheila Heidmarch
Charmed, I'm sure Mr Delagroza. she says with a smile and nod of her head.
I trust your blade is as keen as your tongue? If Natalya is correct and the Tower Girls have claimed the piling as their new base, I'm not so sure a flattering word will depose them. But then you've all been full of surprises so far, perhaps you'll prove me wrong on that score as well.
She looks down at some paperwork.
Do any of you have experience in piloting boats?
Kennos Slynt
Kennos covers his eyes to the light of the world as they walk through the streets.
He enters sheilas office he slumps in a chairs and listens while world seems to spin around him
Please don't say we have to go on a boat, im unwell and un steady enough as it is
he turns to draz and davos
you two have knowledge of herbs and magic is there something to cure me of this blasted hangover?
Don Domingo Delagroza
I once knew this gnomish fellow who was a heavy drInker, he swore by the "alchemists kindness " he called it. It's not cheap bit it will fix you right up. 1gp I think it is.
As for handling a boat I've no experience of that though I'm quite a good swimmer
Kennos Slynt
thanks my friend i could really do with some, so has everyone gor everything for......
Kennos runs to the toilet and not long after heaving sounds can be heared from within
JZ-Sheila Heidmarch
Sheila shakes her head slightly at Kennos.
Ive arranged a small skiff for you at the waterfront, this note will secure it. The entrance to the piling is on the water level about 200 feet from the shore. If you take your time you should have no problem with the boat. Good luck, she says seriously.
And watch eachothers backs.
Kennos Slynt
when domingo brings back the alchemist kindness Kennos quickly downs it
10 minutes later
ahh thanks my friend i needed that heres your one gold back, fancy new hat by the way, i like it, so off to the crows? im pretty sure i can handle the boat jack of all trades me, master of none kennos laughs to him self and gets all his gear ready
Gelbor Halus
Gelbor rises with a smiles, getting dressed he walks out to greet the rest.
"Good morning everyone, that was one hell of a night. I'm all ready for the Crow today." He then seeing Kennos and Draz. "Wow you two look like you're half dead. You still up for the crow tonight?"
Gelbor then takes a seat and pours himself a glass of water and everyone else."get some water in you that always helps." He then turns to Shelia. "A boat you say, should be no problem getting there i've used one before. Thank you for arranging it for us, I hope to set off tonight been to much delay already lets just hope these two can make it." Then taking a long drink and stretching, he looks around the room."Anyone seen Davos? i just saw Dom leaving."
Drazhak Grimbold
Drazhak thanks Dom for the Alchemist's Kindness and drains it in one go. "Thanks my friend. I have heard tell that this stuff works wonders. I think once we are all feeling well enough we should make haste to the Crow and see if we can't find the next shard."

The group leaves the Lodge that afternoon and heads once more to the docks. You collect the skiff from a charter agency and step gingerly, one at a time, into it.
Gelbor, who was brought up around the water, and Drazhak, with his common-sense approach, take the lead in piloting the boat and it is not long before the archway that signals the entrance to the Crow.
The piling is enormous. Hundreds of feet high an almost as far across at its base. Every inch is decorated in elaborate carvings and topped with ugly gargoyles in the shape of giant birds, giving the piling its name. The bridge it once helped to support, the Irespan, must have been magnificent.

A tall lancet arch at water level leads in a chamber at sea level within the side of the Crow. Inside is what was once a small, stepped terrace, now filled with sea water to the level of its top step. Three rowboats are tied off to heavy stones placed on this step. Above, the ceiling rises almost all the way to the top of the monument - an opening leads off this shaft to the west near the ceiling. At the west end of this room lies a small alcove whose floor shows the stains of countless campfires - the back wall of this alcove has broken through, revealing a passageway beyond.
Gelbor Halus
In a hushed tone, Gelbor trying to speak to the group.
"We can assume theyre going to be hostile, words won't work with these girls but there's no need to go crazy and kill them all." He has a quick look around having a feeling he's being watched. "Their leader will be the worst of it, we try and take her out first maybe we can save some unnecessary killing. He then pull's out his short swords. "I'll take point and try and keep my eye out for traps. If you're all happy with that let's move up."
He then looks up to the steps trying to spot anything lurking about.

domingo moves up behind gelbor and slowly draws his long elven blade.
ill be right behind you gelbor he says quietly. ok Pioneers lets keep our eyes open for trouble, these thieves are sneaky bastards
Drazhak Grimbold
Upon tieing up the skiff, Drazhak readies his gear in his usual fashion when in potentially damgerous surroundings. He wraps the thick chain of his holy symbol about his left wrist and then lifts his shelid. The holy symbol is now grasped firmly in his left hand along with the leather strap that secures the sheild to his arm. His battleaxe in his right hand, he adjusts his mail and steps forward a after Dom and Gelbor, around 5 feet separating them. As he does, he looks around at the ruins of the Irespan admiringly. Impressive stonework. The irespan must have been a marvel indeed. A work worthy of my kin.

Drazhak waits for Gelbor to move quietly into the room, then makes his way forward as quietly as he can To R15 where I can keep an eye on both exits and stands ready watching Gelbor, and glancing at the other exit every now and then in case an enemy comes from that direction. He assumes a stance of readiness; standing side-on, shield tucked under his chin covering his torso, battleaxe poised .
Steady now gentlemen, let's keep this nice and tight. I hope Gelbor is taking us in the right direction.

Davos Bixby
Quite busy yesterday didnt get to post
Davos wakes up with what could possible feel an orge has punch him in the head he staggers down the stairs and takes a seat at the breakfast table
"Can't say I've drunk like that before not one to drink, thank you very much Dom for this hopefully it as good as you say and removes this terrible feeling."
10 minutes later after consuming the alchemists kindness Davos is back to his normal self
"So today is the day we heading to the Crow excellent shall be dangerous no doubt."
Davos steps off the boat and removes his wand of mage armor and casts it on himself AC 17 "Anyone need some extra protection before we head in."
Davos follows the rest of his party holding a scroll of grease in his hand and moves to R18

Gelbor is the most advanced at T15. You can't quite see into B3 from there but the now all too familiar stench of rot and human waste eminate from within.
I should point out that these rooms are not illuminated. Areas B1, B2, and B3 are lit by the late afternoon Sun coming in from the boat dock but it won't be long until sunset.
Gelbor Halus
Gelbor moves up to the room only just getting close to see what's in the room without fully revealing himself.
If it's too dark he'll try and signal to those behind him
He whispers, behind him.
"Does anyone have any light?"
Don Domingo Delagroza
Domingo keeps following Gelbor whilst taking in the vast stone chamber
this place is beginning to smell like the sewer, I hope it's not as bad as that stinking place
stealth: 1d20 + 4 - 1 ⇒ (7) + 4 - 1 = 10 to follow Gelbor
Kennos Slynt
Kennos whispers
I can make light it won't be very stealthy though and it won't last very long, I also have a torch in my bag if you guys don't mind stopping here while I light it light it?
Davos Bixby
Davos whispers
"No point being stealthy if we cant see where we are going. I can cast a spell to give us light also."
Davos clicks his finger and light begins to shine from hat and moves to T14
Gelbor Halus
"We're going to need light, i can see in low light i'd rather not carry it as i can't really be that stealthily with light on me, Dom? since you're following up closest to me i could still sneak in the shadow of the light behind me and see."
Gelbor nearly gag's remembering the sewers.
"Let's just get the search of this room over with." Looking reluctant, he pull's up a mask to cover his mouth and nose.
perception: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (10) + 8 = 18
Gelbor takes a quick look around to room to make sure nothing can surprise them as they move on.
Gelbor Halus
Moving out of the room Gelbor takes a deep breath.
"I don't know Slynt but there's nothing in there let's move on and find out." He says taking his mark off, trying to get some air.
He then moves to the back of the room T9 to check what's there.
