Oddly resistance is what i read it as at first.

I think in a case like this the party should be entitled to both items, as we cannot be held responsible for mishaps due to a lack of coffee and it is very unfair to get our poor little hopes up! :)

For resistance, that could pretty much be awesome for anyone, so its really up in the air.

That being said, we come to an important part of the discussion actually. How do we want to handle the distribution of wealth and treasure? Since this isn't PFS we will be keeping what is found and we need to come up with a good way to make sure everyone gets a fair shot at the loot. Since we don't have much in the way of accumulated wealth yet, a system of "buying" items from the pool won't work.

My preference is for cash or cash equivalents to just be split equally. Dropped items should go to who they serve best, but with also keeping an eye towards trying to keep things even and making sure everyone gets stuff at some point or another. Perhaps have folks chip in for communal purchased items eventually, like CLW wands and the like.

But, I'll go along with whatever folks want regardling loots.

If the cloak was from a regular size person I might be okay with you cutting it in half to make both resistance and protection, but since it's already halfing size.. you'd make something like a Shawl of Resistance +1/2 if you tried it :P

See, there you go being all clever! There is a solution to every problem! Cut it in half, make a napkin out of it, and each of the halflings can use it while we feast! :)

And actually, only weapons and armor come in sizes. Per the SRD, magic items like clothing and jewelry re-size to fit the wearer or are considered adjustable enough to be worn by anyone. That is of course unless you house rule that size found is size forever.

Size and Magic Items

When an article of magic clothing or jewelry is discovered, most of the time size shouldn't be an issue. Many magic garments are made to be easily adjustable, or they adjust themselves magically to the wearer. Size should not keep characters of various kinds from using magic items.

There may be rare exceptions, especially with race-specific items.

And since I'm a halfling, I'm shooting myself in the foot by saying the above and making it available to the entire group! :)

I apologize for the delay in updating.. Had a 7-page paper I had to write, plus I have a midterm today, and I actually just started a new job at Starbucks. Adjusting to life, and totally forgot about paizo. Whoops! I'll get something up tonight before bed.

University is a cruel mistress. Luckily I have only 3 full semesters left, so I'm almost done! Then I get to spend the rest of my life sitting in a cubicle programming. /nerd

That's my life currently, doing mostly maintenance work on web apps, mostly in java.

Sorry my posts haven't been as frequent of late I was super busy working with a friend to start up our let's play channel which we finally just got up! Now that that's out of the way I should be back to posting at least once a day x3

Things seem to be creeping. Anything we can do as players to get this one track? I know I was looking around the village, but without any feedback I can't assume much else.

Like so many other PbPs, this one has dropped off the radar. I'm going to go ahead and respectfully withdraw from the game. I have a lot of posts to watch and this one has started to really sink to the bottom of the updates list each day.

Wish you all the best if this continues, but the speed is not where I like my games to be.
