On Friday December 7th I will be flying to Hawaii for a 1 year anniversary/honeymoon. I will have limited internet access and will check the forums but most likely won't be posting too terribly much. Padrym will follow the lead of the older dwarves out of combat and position where Love tells him to in combat for maximum stealth and effectiveness.

It is that time of year - where Christmas Cheer is being spread and my Clan will begin their sojourn down to Australia for the purposes of familial visitation and such. Given that we'll be doing the holiday thing, it will curtail my ability to get on the net, and make DMing PbPs impossible for that period.
So with that in mind - I'm going to stick the campaign on ice for a few weeks while I travel down to Australia, and look to getting back up and running on the 10th of January (after my return to Malaysia).
I wish you all a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, and look forward to the interrogation of dark stalker and fur speaker alike in 2013.

Naah, if the Mayans are right we just need to pick up a calendar for the next Long Count. That shouldn't be too much trouble, as they're now printed on paper instead of rock. (Personally, I'm going to wait until January when I can get one for half-price. Even on paper, a baktun calendar is still kind of pricy. Though the selection won't be that good. Hmmm...do I really want 144,000 days of cute kitten pictures? Decisions, decisions.)
There is no way I can follow that post. My housemate is still laughing and suggests the origami-a-day calendar as an option.

The DM hath returneth from holidays and is in recovery - sick kids resulted from a change in temp from 43 to 25 degrees overnight in Sydney - but much was enjoyed whilst there. Please consider me returned to my usual level of defective action and lets get cracking once more :)

Welcome back and good luck getting everyone healthy. We've got both flu and nasty bronchitis colds zapping around here in the midwest US. Fortunately only the latter has caught me thus far.
Mainly stomach bugs here in the PNW. Lots of liquids and hand washing all around.
I'm going to be at a con this weekend, and am not sure how much access I'll have. (Haven't checked if hotel internet is free.) Since I think Cynara is the only one who can talk to the dark stalker, that may put a damper on questioning until I get back.
Blerg - combination of parents in town and psycho work that has kept me up till 2AM plus for the last couple of nights has curtailed my ability to DM. Also have two full day meetings tomorrow and Wednesday followed by a public holiday on Thursday.

Don't worry - I assumed that your side talk and detect evil snipe was essentially outside of the room. So only what you physically direct at the stalker are the questions being asked.
As to tardiness - visitors plus late nights and work being busy has delayed me somewhat. I'm dearly hoping that things will slacken soonish.

Well after an eight hour meeting at work I went to fencing... and sparred against a guy who used to coach the national team... needless to say he 'roundly thrashed me'. Then when I got home our 10 month old started crawling forward for the first time... so I got a bit distracted.

Yeah, big milestone! I had to take a pass on RoW too. I'm going to be running it for my family and just haven't had time to put together any concepts for it yet. I was thinking along the same lines as Khepri and was going to retool Black Ulfarr, possibly using that new Mad Dog archetype rather than the Houndmaster since that's been replaced by the Huntmaster (which I don't think fits him as well). I'm definitely in for the WoW game though if that one gets going.

I think I am going to have one less party member in the group, but do gestalt with the requirement that one of the gestalt classes have to be either a cleric, inquisitor, or anti-paladin of Asmodeus.
I also would like to add some of the alternate options provided later in the series (options for archetypes and prestige classes as well as becoming a vampire or lich) as well as Talingarde info. Not sure if I want to dump that in the campaign tab or decide to do a campaign in Epic Words

Nah - there's no issues here in Malaysia. Pay some money (or my company pays said money to an agent) and they do everything for you :)
