Horde of the Guardian

Game Master Ren Ashbell

Dragons have been missing for over a thousand years. No one knows where they went or if they ever really existed... until now.

"Left, right, left, straight..." like a rhythmic lullaby continuously repeated in my subconscious. A warm soothing voice which demanded my attention as well as protected. Darkness surrounds each of us in our earliest moments...

"...right, right, left, straight, left..."

Over time we each become aware of one another. Somehow it makes sense in our senseless minds with only the anticipation of birth set before us. Perhaps not knowing by confirmation but instead instinct is what made us wait patiently. Who knew?...

"...straight, left, right, right, left..."

One day, we would escape this prison. One day, our lives would be in our own hands...

Creation rules:

•Pick among true dragons you would like to play with the very young age category. (Talk over with DM first if questionable as some, such as faerie dragons or guardian dragons will not be available.)
•pick a humanoid to look like. (For ex: elf, kitsune, or even suli. Just do long as it isn't alien, 3rd party, or not races.)
•starting at lvl 0
•no gear nor starting gold
•no class levels nor mythic until later notice. It will work differently.
•back story isn't needed as you will be starting from a different perspective and telling me a story of how you came to be through role play.
•each dragon starts with an ability to shape change into their humanoid form or back from, as a full round action.
•Use stats of Dragon. No ability mods or free feat starting out.
Two traits that coincide with your Dragon's concept  as a person so to speak. For Example: you're not possibly noble or the chosen one. You wouldn't have proficiencies like cooking or stealthing.
•Starting at level 0 so you don't have anything beside very young dragon as your sheet. What is on there is what you are limited to for now.

What I need from the players, is a concept. No back story as we will be creating it essentially together as you raise your Dragon in the cruel realities of the world. Will you side with evil? Perhaps good? Or even stave them off and follow your own code of conducts? Every action has consequences, some good, some bad. Your choices can effect the world as a whole.

Leveling and/or gaining age categories

Instead of xp working the way it always has, I've implemented a system I find to be fair. Through role playing and defeating foes each player will come to a defining moment. As such I will award xp points. In increments of 1, or even two if I feel impressed enough. Once you reach a certain amount options will open up for you. Using these points both a dialog and option will become available via me. Using certain amounts of points you have the ability to gain a class level or by spending more points you can even save and use to gain anew age category! Each tier you gain the more points it will cost for each additional tier. This way the player can choose how you gain and build power! Capping out with each is a possibility so don't be distraught! Equal opportunities for all!!!
