Ser Helmut racks his brain but can come up with no explanation for this unnatural flora. It must be magic! Breakfast stomps off in search of the smelly thing. He soon finds it ... or rather, it finds him. An enormous spider bursts forth from a cunningly-concealed trapdoor in the earth and attempts to bite the tyrannosaur before scuttling back underground.
Spring Attack Bite:1d20 + 5 ⇒ (8) + 5 = 13Damage:1d6 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4 If successful, Fort DC 15 (poison) vs 1d2 STR damage

"Lotslegs!" Mogawg repeats the name bestowed by Scrabble.
Ready action to cast exhausting strike on the spider. If ranged touch hits, DC 13 Fort save or it is fatigued for 2 rounds. Readied ranged touch attack:1d20 + 4 ⇒ (10) + 4 = 14

The spider's fangs narrowly miss digging into Brekfast. Flatfooted AC 14
Rugnut commands Breakfast to kill, spends a move action to try to aid Breakfast's AC, then readies to stab the spider if he sees it.
Aid AC, DC 10:1d20 + 5 ⇒ (14) + 5 = 19
Breakfast is confused about what Rugnut wants him to kill, but readies to bite the stinky spider that tries to bite him.
You unleash the fury of a half-dozen angry goblins upon the Lotslegs as it burst forth from its hidden burrow once again. It suffers a great deal of damage, but as you know, Lotslegs are strong and tough and fast. Scrabble barely has time to latch on before it bolts toward Ser Helmut and attempts to carry him off!
Spring Attack Bite:1d20 + 5 ⇒ (1) + 5 = 6Damage:1d6 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 = 8
... or at least it would have if Dys and Scrabble hadn't knocked out its mandibles.
Unless everyone gets really unlucky, it'll be defeated next round, so let's skip ahead. XD
Loot DC 15 Harvesting check gets you 2 vials of Spider Venom. Rolling a nat1 on the Harvesting check means you poison yourself, though.
Inside the Lotslegs lair, you find the body of a dead badnit!
- M Leather Armor

- Silver Stag Amulet (worth 20gp)

Bravely staring down at the dead spider, the little goblin takes out his alchemical tools to extract the venom.

Chompy looks up having been sniffing perhaps too eagerly in the flowers. He looks over at the others where they have a lotslegs pinned. He nods seeing that his teeth weren't needed. He goes back to sniffing and trying to find things worth rooting up.
Chompy shrugs a bit as he looks over the flowers, there was just something different about them that he wasn't sure of. Maybe lotsalegs had chosen this spot because it hid him with good distractions...but perhaps plants could be useful elsewhere too.
He goes about collecting some alongside the casty gobbo. "Not sure...Lotsalegs chose spot for reason, flowers seen odd. Chompy wants to see if we can use them like spider did." he said talking out his thoughts.
I've been feeling 'off' for quite a while, and it's only recently that I've been able to figure out what's going on. I've let myself get extremely burnt-out. As much as it pains me to say it, I need to take a break from GMing for a while so my creative energy can recharge. I'm not sure how long it'll take, but I'll definitely let everyone know when I'm back in the saddle.

Burnout is no fun at all, so do what you need to do, GM. Thanks for letting us know, and wishing you all the best. I've had a lot of fun with this campaign and if/when you return I'll be here.
