I thought for sure constructs were immune to precision damage, but you are right. That's a good thing.
"Nice strike Lucifer, couple more of those and we should this giant machine,"
Is it safe to say that Bolvurn is stumbling around in the dark?

Gimble, The Storyteller |

The construct seems to be absorbing a small amount of damage with each weapon attacks.
The construct crackles with electricity as it is clearly malfunctioning its head spins and it swings at: 1-Lucifer, 2-Jafit, 3-Voldarus: 1d3 ⇒ 3
Slam@Voldarus: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (7) + 6 = 13
Its attack fails to hit its mark.
Initiative:

Voldarus (-6 Hp)
Jafit
Neilman
Bolvurn
Lucifer (-2 Hp)
Clanky (-34 Hp)

Hovok looks a little closer at the construct before taking another swing at 'em.
Perception: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7
Bloody 'ell two solid hits and this monstrosity is still standing...Here have another.
Attack: 1d20 + 1 + 6 + 2 ⇒ (7) + 1 + 6 + 2 = 16
Damage: 2d6 + 6 ⇒ (3, 2) + 6 = 11
Not sure exactly how concealment works in this case if Neilman is in front of me.

Gimble, The Storyteller |

@Hovok: If Neilman is in front of you it would be cover and I apply it to The creature's AC. Nothing you have to adjust for.
Hovok takes a swing at Clanky and smashes the side of its body. The construct collapses to the floor then explodes in a burst of energy.
Everyone needs to make a Reflex Save.
Electricity Damage: 1d10 ⇒ 9
End of Combat

![]() |

Reflex: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (12) + 5 = 17
Voldarus sees the sparks and is ready for the explosion, he jumps out of the way and avoids the electrical burst.

![]() |

Reflex: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (13) - 1 = 12
Whew by the skin of my teeth there...and I applied my healing already from you Jafit.
Seeing the construct fall Hovok takes a closer look around the room paying a little more attention to the construct to see if there is anything useful that wasn't smashed.
Knowledge engineering: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (2) + 5 = 7
Perception: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (10) + 1 = 11

![]() |

Reflex DC11: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (9) + 5 = 14
Seeing the signs of the construct about to explode, Lucifer dives for cover under the nearby table just as it explodes.
After the explosion, Lucifer crawls out from under the table and dust himself off. "That was exciting. Lets hope this room holds something worth while for our trouble."
Lucifer inspects the goblin's body and then the room.
Perception: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (20) + 7 = 27

![]() |

Voldarus shrugs, "I'd be worse off if it weren't for this miraculous healer here." he goes to clasp Jafit on the shoulder, but thinks better of it.
"Find anything useful?" he asks Lucifer.

![]() |

I had myself at -3 hp still just fyi.
Would you gain any additional benefit for just yourself...Don't have to be healed but wouldn't be wasted completely either and think same goes for Vold and Lucifer.
Turning to Neilman
Any idea about the wand?
Guessing nothing to scavenge from the construct.

![]() |

"Gather 'round, then, and let's see how much we care about living, then!"
After everyone gets close enough to be in the burst, Jafit reaches deep inside himself and finds the will to live, to see another sunrise, to have another steak, to spend time curled up with someone special close to a fire. Once he gathers that passion within, he lets it flow out of him and into the others around him, watching the life within each of them creating more life for them, simply because they themselves want it . . ..
Channel: 1d6 ⇒ 2
And the dice hate me.

![]() |

did that reflex negate or halve the damage?, because If it negated then I would be at -1 before that healing so full now.

![]() |

Heh. I can take a hint.
Spellcraft: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (19) + 5 = 24
Uh, WOW. Okay, this time the dice liked me.
"Let me take a look at that." Jafit casts Detect Magic and examines the wand, turning it over in his small, blackened hands, looking for any indication of what power was tied into, basically, a thin stick.

![]() |

"Thanks for the heal. I fill complete again." Lucifer smiles.
"While you are checking out that wand, Jafit. I'm going back to the previous room and going to see if I hear anything beyond the southern door."
Lucifer heads back and puts his ear to the door to listen for anything on the other side.
Perception: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (2) + 7 = 9

![]() |

Seeing nothing worthwhile on the construct that wasn't damaged by either him or Vold. Hovok follows behind Lucifer and listens while the rest of the group forms up.
Perception: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6
After everyone is ready Hovok taps Lucifer on the shoulder to go ahead and open the door.

![]() |

Voldarus picks up his bow and wishes there was a way he could not have to throw it on the ground everytimw he enters battle, but never the less readiesit and moves towards the door.

![]() |

Lucifer opens the southern door and steps through, sword held up in defensive position in case danger shows it's ugly head.

![]() |

I don't know if I can stand where I am standing so if not I guess Id be in front of Hovok

Gimble, The Storyteller |

Lucifer opens the door with the fighters at the ready:
A plush, human-sized bed stands in this chamber, along with a table holding a bone scroll tube and jars filled with eyeballs, claws, and teeth. Various automaton parts lie scattered around.
The scroll tube on the table contains a sheet of parchment on which is drawn a complicated magical sigil in iridescent green ink.
You recognize the sigil as an identifying mark similar to an arcane mark. The sigil is labeled “Six” in Azlanti.

![]() |

Linguistics: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (1) + 7 = 8
Lucifer heads toward the table and picks up the parchment. He attempts to decipher it but isn't able to make heads or tails of it. "I can't make it out. Any of you want to try?" He hands the parchment over to another person to try.
After handing over the parchment, he begins to search the room. "It does seem odd to have a bed like that here."
Perception: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (16) + 7 = 23

![]() |

Agreed the bed is weird wonder if any of these parts are worth anything.
Hovok is going to take a look around with a little more focus on the automaton parts lying around.
Perception: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (13) + 1 = 14
Knowledge (engineering): 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (5) + 5 = 10

Gimble, The Storyteller |

Didn't realize you spoke Azlanti.
Other than a small pouch of gold and silver (about 95gp worth) stashed under the bed, you find nothing else of interest in this room.

![]() |

Voldarus checks the bed for traps, and then leans over to sniff it. If all seems in order he will plop down on it to sit while the others search.
Perception: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (20) + 7 = 27
"I don't often find me self with a bed under me. Can't say I expected to find one here either. Not to complain though, no not to complain." he says. "How bout you dwarf. 'S true ya folk sleep on slabs a stone?"

![]() |

What kinda question is that course we sleep on slabs of stone, well unless you find one of the crazies that enjoy going out to sea. Your doing it yourself right now, but if you are asking if we sleep on beds...No bloody annoying to have to perform an acrobatic move to get in the bed before going to sleep, so we generally just make do with some blankets/furs for bedding.
Taking another look at the bed.
Me thinks there is someone else running the show here...Don't really envision a goblin sleeping on something like this. Did you cant anything interesting with your nose there Voldarus.

Neilmin |

let me see the scroll.
Neilmin takes the scroll and trys a crack at it to see what it is.
arcane: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3
Neilmin sates at it with a puzzled look on his face.
Sorry guys no clue what it is

![]() |

"The only thing I can make out on the parchment is that it says '6' in Azlanti. Not sure what that is suppose to mean though."
Looking around the room, "Doesn't look like there is anything else to be found here. There was more doors in our previous room. Maybe it leads somewhere."
Lucifer heads out of the room and checks the doors to the north, listening for anything beyond.
Perception: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (2) + 7 = 9

![]() |

Lucifer goes ahead and opens the door, if not locked. He suspects these doors lead to the same room that the doors he couldn't unlock go to.

Gimble, The Storyteller |

Lucifer opens the doors, but doesn't find the "room" he's expecting:
Stairs wind upward to the right, circling around a glowing wall of semi-translucent green stone. It seems the Azlanti tower was built around a core of some other material—a spire within a spire.
The stairs circle around the Spire two and a half times, climbing through ruined and impassible levels. The curving stairs end in a sturdy wooden door with a shuttered arrow slit in its middle.

![]() |

Lucifer carefully walks up the stairs, not sure what to expect at the top. Upon coming to the wooden door, he stops and listens.
Perception: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (15) + 7 = 22

![]() |

Hovok turns around and seeing Lucifer gone retraces his steps and then goes through the door that is now open.
If everyone is ready think the little guy has already moved on.
Stopping a little behind Lucifer; he adjusts his grip on the longhammer and waits for Lucifer to proceed.

![]() |

Lucifer pulls out his thieving tools and begins to work on the lock.
Disable Device: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (11) + 10 = 21

![]() |

Lucifer puts his picking tools away and draws his sword. When everyone motions they are ready, Lucifer opens the door and readies himself to move out of the way for the more heavy hitters to come charging through if need be.
