As you start inside the spire, you lean your head through the threshold and your darkvision can finally penetrate the darkness. You notice that the outside light only penetrates 5' inside the door.

Hovok moves straight into the darkness. You hear something inside shriek, then the dull thud of his hammer hit the source and silence it. A low growl can now be heard from inside the spire.

Hovok is inside the spire. I'll adjust the map tonight when I get home.

Voldarus stows his bow and climbs up the hill, almost slipping on the loose rubble, but makes his way up the hill. I'm not sure if you can draw a weapon while climbing, but it's not going to make much difference in this battle as you'll need to move into the spire to attack anyway.

Voldarus puts the club back into the loop on his belt and draws his bow and an arrow. He steps over the dead goblin and peers into the circular room.

Perception: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (12) + 7 = 19

Male Gnome Bard 16, Storyteller (aka DM)

Currently, there is no light source out, so only those with Darkvision can see.

Voldarus moves into the room: Piles of rags and bones are piled up into nest-like beds around this circular room. A door to the southeast leads to other rooms.

You see nothing of interest in here.

However, on the goblins, those with darkvision can find the following:

2 potions
2 small shortbows w/ 37 arrows
2 small horsechoppers.

FYI-Perception can identify potions.

Perception: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (4) + 7 = 11

Lucifer then hands them to Jafit to see if he can identify them too.
