"You wanna dance, wheezy?" Booker retorts, but the conversation is cut short by the kish preemptively opening fire.

The veteran weathers the fire from the rooftop and kneels for a good shot at Dunklezahn's target down-range. "Deal with the one in the back," he instructs to anyone else listening, "Dunk an' I'll deal with these."

His heavy rifle cracks twice.

The vesk's gimlet eyes dilate as he twice drives his weapon home. The echo of the kish's scream fills the ally. The foe shudders, but stays afoot, albeit barely.

Knowing it's likely his death, the xenophobic kish swings his own axe wildly:

Janzi enacts the last rites with more grace than the locals. The party lets him finish, then they move on...

The front entrance of the "House of Ghosts" building has been sheared away by some ancient calamity, revealing metal structural supports, pipes, and bits of wiring. The ground here is littered with rubble, some of which was been removed to clear a small path into the structure.

Much of the building is buried under the rubble of other structures that have collapsed over millennia, which has actually formed a protective shell keeping the worst ravages of time from affecting the building. The area around the entrance has long since been cleared, and from here you can see the building’s interior decor, which despite being faded with age is still recognizably bright and cheery.

A small booth with a large open window stands against the western wall. A doorway to the north is blocked by a thick, translucent shutter made from some kind of synthetic crystal. The walls are adorned with paint-and charcoal murals depicting humanoid figures looming over the buildings of a city; these titans seem to be looking benevolently down at the city’s inhabitants.

You can see a hidden door in the back of the ticket booth. Once this spoiler is triggered, I'll update the map.

The towering figures are meant to represent the kish’s ancestors as they watch over the city and its current inhabitants. You also notice a number of nearly hidden indicators in the drawings that point toward a disguised panel in the wall near the ticket booth. You may check the DC 35 Perception spoiler without rolling.

Did I ever tell you about the time that Thrul Magnar was giving a benefit concert and he inflated two giant renkrodas on the stage. When one of them started to leak and deflate, we ended up with an angry crowd that began pushing against the stage. It was touch and go for a minute when we thought a riot was about to break out. In a tense moment, I got a backup air pump up and working and I saved the concert. Thrull sure was pleased with my handiwork that day!"
