The choice is clear, to do battle against an army of demons or some tatty old ships. To the North!
Can I get a total time spent so far for buff purposes please, I may need to refresh some and may well cast others on the way. I will also wand away the 20 damage I took.

Rocky the Oread
|
It sounds like this time we will have at least some warning before we have to fight so Rocky will use a charge from his wand of Mage Armor and spend a ki point to cast Barkskin on himself shortly beforehand.
| GM Z..D.. |
In the distance, a brass horn sounds a warning signal. A moment later, a Captain of the First Guard shouts for her force to ready for impact—a command that guards relay up and down the wall. A dark swarm of thousands of strangely misshapen creatures charges, throwing themselves against the stone walls and clambering over each other to reach the top. Despite many volleys of arrows raining down and boiling oil poured on them, the stubborn fiend-flesh creatures press on. In multiple places along the ramparts, soldiers of the First Guard have to draw their swords and engage the creatures in melee. Here and there, groups of nightmarish creatures spill through the line of defense.

As the PCs finish fighting, Siege Lord Wynsal Starborn rides toward the gate accompanied by several mounted soldiers. They help dispatch the last of the enemies in the area before the Siege Lord motions for the PCs speak with him.
The Siege Lord removes his steel helmet for a moment, shaking out his braided hair beaded with the teal and gold colors of Absalom’s flag. With a respectful nod and congratulatory salute, he introduces himself. “I am Wynsal Starborn, once captain of the First Guard and now the Siege Lord ensuring Absalom’s safety. You fought bravely, and thanks to your help, we’ve got the situation under control here.
“I am less confident about affairs beyond our gates, though we could seize control of the tides of war with a targeted strike by capable operatives like you. As you probably noticed, those fiendish abominations are quite tough, but they’re not very organized. In fact, I saw two groups of them fighting each other until one of the minotaur commanders sorted them out. We might be able to use their lack of discipline against them!
“I’ve heard the Pathfinder Society has already done a great deal for the city today. While I’m reticent to ask more, I cannot afford to surrender your expertise. I ask that you sneak past enemy lines, seek out High Priestess Alimnekk, and kill that horned beast. The First Guard will be ready to exploit the opening.”
So do you go out into Kairnland and help turn the battle at the wall
Arcanadin

Ameko ibn Jad

Local: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (9) + 14 = 23
Perhaps Professor if you spent less time asleep you would be less likely to be attacked
Lord Starborn, do you have any idea how far away the commander is likely to be?
I agree, let us cut the head off at least part of this army. Without their leader they are likely to fall in further squabbling and infighting.
After we set off Ameko will cast extended shield of faith on herself and Binky using an annointing oil for both to extend the caster level ti 12 meaning they both last 24 minutes. I will try to time these for when we are within a minute or two of reaching the camp if possible. She will also try and activate a wand of heightened awareness.

A black-and-red banner with a bull’s head on it flies above the shattered remains of an ancient siege castle. A group of groaning, hunched creatures stitched together from strange flesh patrol the ruins.
According to the First Guard’s intelligence reports, the presence of a banner indicates an enemy commander is nearby.
You see demon fleshed creatures guard the command post, but the PC's have a chance to outmaneuver them.
Everyone give me a stealth check or if you are invisible you automatically succeed.

Ameko doesn't believe in the use of dishonourable stealth. Also she is flying on a giant armoured chicken.
Arcanadin
|
"I, too, am not well equipped for stealth. I should have an ally nearby that can render one of us invisible, but that would leave at least one of us easily detected."
"Ameko, if we can slip by we should. The true honor is in the salvation of our home. Winning a skirmish here means nothing if it detracts from our ability to remove High Priestess Alimnekk."
Ameko ibn Jad

If we can avoid notice so be it but... and she shrugs gesturing at the giant armoured chicken.
