Same. I dont really see a need for another just yet.. but should you wish for one, a replacement will be extremely easy to find.

I'll just stick with the party of five then. There are quite a few games of this being run at the moment throughout the boards and I'm sure that number will increase in the coming week. So most people who want to play will be able to get in.

The 5 of you left are all consistent posters and having just 5 lowers the chance of bottlenecks or someone feeling useless in a situation. So we'll just continue as is.

Do you guys want me to pick up a few scrolls of something? I would have already learned burning hands, but I get it for free at level 3. I'm guessing that I could buy scrolls here in town before we get started, if needed. The money won't be a problem.

It's up to you. I was more talking about filling Shao's absence. Talon has Burning Hands prepped (mostly so he has a way to contribute if we run into mobs or swarms). For those reasons, it might be good to have a 1 or 2 scrolls of Burning Hands. But if the team is otherwise prepared for those types of opponents (especially as we climb down into a sewer) you're likely fine.

Hmmm. This scene with the poor souls, who I would guess aren't employees of the Leper so much as, um, maybe test subjects, would have been a lot weirder if I'd gone with the Empyreal Lord of hallucinogens instead of the one of jokes.

Quiet day for this group. I'll be busy for the remainder of this evening so I won't be able to post again until I get home, probably about 5 -6 hours from now.

Not sure if everyone just happens to be busy today, since normally we have a number of posts by this time in the day but just in case I just want to caution everyone to be proactive. If everyone waits for everyone else to make a suggestion we'll never move anywhere. Aarion's most recent post is a good example of proactive posting.

I'm not good at planning ambushes. I've put my token somewhere, but I'm happy for any advice as to somewhere better. Someone who is organizing all of us with a strategy should feel free to move Narika to fit it.

Update will be awhile yet. I've been operating under the assumption that you're all taking 20 on stealth so don't worry about rolls. Sorry for the long delay everyone.

A delay of around 24 hours can hardly be called long, even for a group that's proven to be able to keep a faster pace. Don't stress about it.

I agree with Ai. especially compared with other PbP games, twenty four hours with no post is no biggie at all. I have one game going that the GM MIGHT check in once every couple days. I am very pleased with your communication and your pace, GM.. you have nothing to worry about from this end!

Appreciate your input guys! It's because you've all been so good about keeping pace that I feel bad for the delay. Glad to know you aren't holding it against me though.

Monday will be fine, though I'm going to be spotty (at best) over the holidays and through the New Year. I have some time off, and I don't do he best job of being consistent when I'm out of my routine.

That's fine. I intend to take a slower pace over the holidays for that reason. I figure you're not the only one who will have an irregular or disrupted schedule.

I'm tired of always worrying about running out of spells, so I want to buy an offensive spell wand. Any suggestions? I think it would need to be level 1, because I plan to buy with 2PP.

My first leaning would be magic missile, because it always does damage.

I think magic missile is a solid option. Also don't forget that you have your energy ray that you can use 7 times a day. It might have a chance to miss but it definitely bolsters the amount of damage you can do in a single day.

Agreed. For first level damage, cant' go wrong with the wand of Magic Missile. It's not a lot, but you don't need a lot at our level (usually).

I'm debating on whether I should do the same thing with Talon right now. he has no ranged combat alternatives. :/

I am working overtime today, then traveling tomorrow. I will fill in when I can, but other than possibly tonight, I cannot promise a post before tomorrow night.

After reviewing the table limits on PFS, I'm afraid that I wont be able to legally replay this scenario, even as a back seat player. The rules unfortunately only allows a replay in such cases to make a table legal. With (4) players seated, I cant justify the replay. With consideration of this rule, I would like to hang with the group and rejoin for the next scenario, if that's OK.

Play a pregen. You can apply credit to someone else!

I agree. I think that as a group of players, we work well together, so why disturb that if there's a legal way?

As much as I have taken to dislike the pregens, I must agree.. I like the way we work together and would like to maintain party involvement as much as possible. If you were to sit this one out, interest may wane, another game may come up, etc.. there are as many reasons for you not to come back as there are to stay. :-) I vote stay, and hope that you do as well!

I'm going to buy that wand of magic missile for 2PP. The elemental ray is good, but that plus 4 spells is really not enough, it feels like.

What I think i'm going to do is toss together a fresh level (1). I don't currently have any character low enough to assign the chronicle to. So I'll remedy that, and run the level 1 through. I will have the new character completed tonight.

I agree that we make a fun group and was trying not to upset the balance by bringing a new level 1 in. At this point, it's either make a level (1) or play a pregen character.

A new level one should be fine, really. In face, it'll make us more balanced mechanically to catch up to your character a bit when he comes back. Plus, it'll be a chance to show a newbie around the Society!

I just finished it on my alchemist. I fully intent to use my OOC knowledge to have situational jokes pre-thought about, but other than that, I'm good to be considerate.

I think the only member of our team who has not played it might be Narika, but if that's the case make sure you offer advice or suggestions as it would be equally unfair to leave all the decision making to just one party member.

Just checking in. Away from home and the internet is not as reliable as I expected. I'll be back Sunday but there's been an unexpected death in the family while we were away so it'll probably be a couple more days before I resume a regular posting schedule.
