And any scenario you want to play, as I've never gm'd everything is free game.

So, I'm actually open for any scenario right now, since the only character who's played non-repeatables is CORE. That being said, I've got one character in "Confirmation" at the moment, so perhaps not that one.
EDIT: Dot-and-Deleted the Gameplay.
EDIT: Desh? That you? This is Kohinoor.

Still entering the minutiae, but I'm fine with any scenario. My first PFS character died in the first encounter of the last game.
*waves to Aest* good to see a few familiar faces.

Aaaaand, here's Talon.

Here (google link) are the scenarios I've played. It might be easiest thing to do might be to pick one of the repayable ones (though not Confirmation as that was specifically requested as a 'no'). But I"m up for whatever.

![]() |

I have no problem with Confirmation, except that I literally started it on Monday. If that's what everyone would like to run first, that's something I'm certainly fine with.
Sorcerer, Alchemist, Melee Mesmerist (or maybe not), Melee Wizard. Hmm. Yeah, we're heavy on arcane and melee. I can convert to a supporty Mesmerist build before we get started. It's a matter of, like, two traits and a feat at this point.
*Waves back* Oh hi! How are you? Sorry about that CotCT game, I was in a really bad way emotionally.

![]() |

That list is very helpful Talon, thank you. Looks like you've played a couple of my personal favorites, so I won't get to GM them off the bat, but it also means not falling back on familiar territory :-)
Redelia, play what you would think is most enjoyable. An unbalanced party can still get lucky on rolls or discover ways around a problem, but I'll leave it up to you.
Unless there are any objections, let's go with 6-10 The Wounded Whisp,
I've got my eye on 7-05 School of Spirits as well, is that available for all of you?
Edit: I'm in the middle of wrapping up a CORE Confirmation at the moment, and, while enjoyable, I have some issues with it, so I don't mind not playing it again right away.

![]() |

Wounded Wisp would be a good start for me. I'd also be fine with School of Spirits. I was thinking about running it as my first PFS, but got a very strong recommendation for Overflow Archives from a friend.
I'll convert Ai over to support here when I get back from work, or maybe during my lunch break.

I don't hold anything against you for ending it. It was the practical choice to make. Things happen, and that was the most fun I've had with a character in a while.
I'm getting the idea that we're more of a "solve the problem with our brains first" kind of group.

Looks like we will be getting a sixth player to add to the group. So once Awenydd has his character set up and our new guy checks in we can start.
I'm off to work in about 30 minutes so gameplay thread for the first scenario will be up tomorrow morning EST. Looking forward to getting this underway!

GM Nightfiend |

My original post, in the recruitment thread, was with Boldren the Tarnished.
Well met everyone, I will be taking a level (1) heal focused cleric to round out the group. I will be creating and posting the character tonight. I intend to post the character absent of background and add the background latter. I wish to do this to be able to spend more time developing a solid backstory.
I have GMed a couple pbp games in the past and I am willing to assist with any questions on the mechanics if I can. Thanks for the invite.

Awen here. Tell me what you think! This will be the first dwarf I have ever played, and only the second Paladin.

Alright, I'm down with starting off with Wounded Wisp. Maybe School of Spirits second?
Yep that's the plan.

First Gameplay post is up, tomorrow (Tuesday I suppose is technically 'today' but I haven't slept yet) is going to be hectic, so the going might be slow, but I don't work Wed-Friday so we'll pick up speed after that.
I've been up for a while yet, so I haven't given a full scrutinizing eye to everyone's sheet, but I'll look over them sometime between now and tonight and make sure I have a full understanding of everyone's capabilities.
Narika and Tao: If you look at the posts made by the others you'll see they have their relevant stats in the header above their name. This is accomplished by placing that info in any of the Race/Class/Gender sections of your character profile. Please provide that when you transcribe your sheet electronically.
The minimum information I require is what either Ai and Talon have provided, anything extra is personal preference. I particularly like putting my skills in as well for easy reference.

Between 1/6th and 1/4th is probably fair. I usually assume between three and five combats, and I like to end with a little bit left over, just in case I'm wrong.

![]() |

I have a question. Would it be possible to run Black Waters before we do School of Spirits? I would be happy to buy it for you, if needed, and I think the conversions allowed from 3.5 to Pathfinder are relatively minimal. From what little I've read, the storyline potential would be worthwhile.

![]() |

I'd be cool with that one.
Are we going to avoid Confirmation altogether, DM? If you're not averse, I'd like to include it in our play-through for a couple reasons. Not the least of which is Talon would wear his Confirmation like a badge of pride.
If you're not interested, I can roll with it.

![]() |

Have a few moments to update, I had uploaded a few handouts I need to give here so I could link them from my phone if needed, but I'm getting an error when bringing them up on my Google drive so that's going to have to wait until tomorrow morning, sorry guys, it's a bit much to type out on my phone or I would.
Second, Ai you don't need to buy the scenario, I'm willing to run whatever the majority is good with. From a mechanics standpoint I'm not over fond of Confirmation but storywise I think it's good to have a pathfinder go through. There's always the option to continue after three scenarios so there are options. If you'd like to fill level 1 with evergreens or whatevet, I don't mind.

![]() |

I'm new enough to PFS to not know anything about most of the scenarios you're discussing, which I have no problem with. My one possible issue in terms of scenarios is that this character probably can't go to Cheliax, it would probably be too dangerous (escaped slave, perhaps still searched for, etc). However, I could use a different character or play a pregen or something for one adventure if needed if everyone else wants to play a scenario set in Cheliax.

![]() |

Like I said, I'd like to have it under Talon's belt, but not at the expense of you running something you don't really want to deal with. I can always just buy him a Wayfinder and say he ran it behind the scenes and between some of our other Scenarios.

![]() |

My dislike for certain parts of the Confirmation isn't so great that I wouldnt have fun GMing it, I have no problem if the party chooses to go that route, just want to be honest with my assessment of scenarios.

![]() |

I have absolutely no issue with any of these suggestions.. I agree that the confirmation can get sticky from the gm side of things, especially with new players, but never the less I still enjoy running and playing it. I have heard a lot of good things about the black water scenarios, and would like to give them a try.
Me'mori, I cant remember what season it is, but there is pretty much a whole season dedicated to desert adventures.. I have played one or two of them, and they are pretty interesting. I don't think you have anything to fear about NOT getting out that way. :-)

Just want to let you guys know, there's a new evergreen coming out in a couple days:
The Consortium Compact
Since there seems to be interest for these introductory type scenarios with this group, it sounds like something you may want to play.
For those of us who are new to PFS, or those of us who may have forgotten, an Evergreen is a scenario that can be played any number of times as long as each time it is with a level 1 PFS character that hasn't run it yet. (i.e. Narika is now playing Wounded Wisp, and if Redelia makes a new PFS character, that new character can also play Wounded Wisp for official PFS credit as long as it is level 1), each Evergreen may also be played one time with a 2nd level character.
Also remember: if you guys have any feedback for me feel free to provide it. That is after all, why I started this! :)

![]() |

I was thinking about that yesterday when I saw the convo pop up in the Flaxseed. I would be completely down for playing this!
-Posted with Wayfinder

Black Waters and School of Spirits can be played after level 1 without any changes, the only thing it would alter would be the amount of time before getting to play them. I imagine most people would want to play the new evergreen at level one, so it would have to come either after this one, or after Confirmation which is next on the list based on the groups input.
