What sort of action is it to toss a weapon out of an opponent's easy reach?

Specifically, to toss it harmlessly into the midst of my comrades?

Move action to pick up the weapon. Standard to throw it.

Alternatively, you could pick up the weapon, and just head but the enemy.

I've noticed that this Round of fights can be stupidly lethal against level 1s if you really want to cheese tactics. 4 channel negative spams would be a TPK pretty quick. Luckily, Kharg doing twice their hp in a single round gave them something more defensive to think about than obliterating you like mindless automatons.

Yeahhh...heck, even outside of PFS it sucks to be on the receiving end of a bunch of negative channels at lower levels :\

Rereading the Gameplay thread, this is roughly what I've come up with regarding all the CLW potions we've found:

Mausoleum Encounter - 4 found
Kharg uses 1
Smiley uses 1
Kharg takes 1
Jillia takes 1

Fire in the Library - 2 found
Jillia drinks her potion from the Mausoleum encounter
Smiley suggests that he and Kharg take the 2 potions found here

Syrinx Battle - 4 found
Smiley uses 1
Kharg uses 1
Jillia uses 1

Sooo...it looks like we should still have one unclaimed potion from the syrinx fight, while I'm assuming that Smiley is carrying one and Kharg is carrying two. Does that look about right?

I think so; he actually took a pretty good hit during one of the last encounters.

Sadly, unlike most Specials, there isn't a "the group recharges abilities" section. I believe the intention is for Aid Tokens to get passed around more frequently than they've been.

On the plus side, you guys have done an admirable job churning through the encounters available; we've had a really good pace. We can watch and see how things go in the next phase.

You do still have the Fireball Bead, too.

Nella, that is a good recap. It looks like I had 2, but used 1, leaving me with 1, which I would like to take since I am half hp at this time

Ok, so I just re-read Nella's post and I see how she determined I have two potions. I am going to drink one now, if that is ok with everyone, and save the other for later, either for myself or for someone else.

Works for me. I have one in reserve also.

As a FYI, I'll be out and about for a good portion of the day tomorrow and probably won't be home until somewhere in the neighborhood of 4-6 PM CST. Since we're currently in combat, feel free to bot Nella as needed; with most of her spells and channels used, she'll primarily try to stay out of the way of combat and use BotF on her companions as the situation requires.

If she's targeted by an attack, she'll use her Adoration ability as an immediate action to attempt to thwart it; functions as Sanctuary vs. one melee or ranged attack at a time with a DC 13 Will save for the enemy to ignore it.

That was hilarious. I was reading through the scenario again and came across a bit of text that was relevant. I looked at the map and did the math that would be required in my head and said, "Nah, that'd be hilarious, but there's no way..."

Then it happened.

Ok, I was debating whether or not to pull the trigger for the next combat, but I haven't gotten the 24 hour warning for the end of the act. If need be we can ret-con this (or if anyone had a readied action or preparation they still needed to make.

I think Nella has done everything she feels she can do for the moment; I'll obviously leave it up to Smiley or you to roll the healing for that CLW potion :)

And there we have it! I have to say, this has been an amazing time thanks to each of you all. I greatly appreciate the amount of effort and energy everyone put in, especially given the distractions of the holidays. I don't think it's possible for this to have been more epic :)

By the way, how do boons work? I am still fairly new to this. Is there a link that explains it?

Boons are "extras" that you can get; some are just the added little perks on Chronicle Sheets (like the one you're about to get.) There are also some you can get from books and such.

There are also Convention boons which are generally in limited supply or randomly assigned. For this convention, it's rolled randomly; a 1 or a 20 would win one, so sadly none this time.
