Prior to the festivities regarding the hags...

Vivi sits down as Yavanee and Valonia examine him, explaining the details of his conditions to Yavenee in elven and ensuring she translates accurately to Valonia. Writing in Elven but assume it was accurately translated, so both of you can read this.

Elven:

"For months now they have been torturing me, trying to get information on my former friends and companions. I have at most been able to get a hour of sleep per day, sometimes less than that, and always while chained to something heavy. Well, always after the first night where I surprised them with an escape attempt." Vivi laughs at that, causing him to cough more.

"Between sleeping conditions and the abysmal quality for the little food and water they provided to sustain me, I am surprised that I am only slightly sick. It does not add anything to the exhaustion though. I suppose that a few nights in a good bed with actual meals should probably cure most of what ails me, apart from some of the breaks and cuts from my torture sessions, but I don't remember seeing an inn here... so it might be a tall ask. Besides, we have business to complete here first and I refuse to sit it out."

There is no response from the cavern ahead with the hags, almost as if they could possibly see through the less then clever reply from the ranger.

Yavenee identifies the sickness that ails the monk as something that typically afflicts one who has been exposed to poor living conditions for an extended period of time. She knows a solid days rest and square meals would probably alleviate the conditions, but there may be magical means to correct it as well. Remove Sickness will work as well.

After the sudden silence.

Vivi winces both at the silence and at his friend's attempt at foolery. This isn't going to go well...

Taking up position near the other side of the entrance, Vivi attempts to blend into the wall so as to get the jump on anyone or anything that attempts to investigate.

Stealth: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (3) + 15 = 18 -2 if Val isn't able to cure sickened prior to this.

I can spell Kenning GM, but would that give away out position? It probably involves some sort of audio cue thats all. Everyone ok with taking this risk?

I was operating on that understanding as well, given you had asked the question prior to Delendir's exploration. This is kinda just playing that part out prior to subsequent events... besides, I somehow think that my doing -3 on every attack and damage roll against these hags might not be ideal.

Valonia composes herself for a moment, before drawing upon the nymph's look of profound sorrow as she unleashes a blast of song before lightly touching Vivi on the shoulder.

"You should be feeling marginally better now" she mutters lightly afterwards, before drawing her greatsword in preparation.

With their plan in place and the newest member of her horde in relative safety for now, Krysta did her part and dug straight down for about ten feet before making her way to where the hags were located. When she got close to them she slowed down her pace and went even deeper as she edged behind them and then tunneled up to get into striking position to pop out behind the rear most hag.

Vivi feels the melodic magic flow through him, the song reaching deep and making him feel more alert and less drained than he had been in months. Vivi smiles in appreciation, nodding emphatically.

I will really need to thank her later once I get over these mental blocks.

Standing a bit taller, the monk proceeds to get into position (as described above) once the cavern's hags fall silent.

(Just to clarify, he was cured of both conditions? And is it permanent, or just for a while?)

Usually, remove Sickness is temporary. However, if I cast Song of Kyonin instead, I can permanently heal both your Fatigued and Sickened conditions immediately. I can have the spell up for 10 rounds, so everyone can heal 2x10=20HP and then when the spell ends Vivi should be fully recovered and then everyone heals a further 1d8+10.

Heal: 1d8 + 15 ⇒ (2) + 15 = 17

Rajah, Vivi, and Sunday should be full, thats 37HP healed to 3 of us

Vivi's expression turns to one of surprise as the dragon suddenly burrows into the earth. What kind of dragon flies through stone as most do through air? He recovers his composure, only to see Sunday grow to the size of his former captives.

"Remind... me... later... .... ... questions... to... ask..." he says, though he keeps his voice low in an effort to not reveal his location.

The hag above Krysta has no idea that she is below her, the dragon successfully able to burrow quietly enough through the rocks. Krysta can take her surprise round action and then we'll start combat.

Deciding that the time was nigh Krysta erupted from the ground behind the hag she'd moved in to ambush and her jaws snapped out at her.

Krysta bursts out of the group and snapped at the hag, but she misjudges the sheer size of the large creature and can't get her jaws around her quickly enough. The creature looks behind at the dragon, not entirely surprised to see her there. Regardless if they knew she was coming, the party has advance knowledge of the plan and can act before the hags have a chance to do something about the attempted ambush.

Hearing the roar of the dragon coming up further in the cave, Vivi breaks into a sprint into the cave to provide assistance.

Move 60 into about where I have my marker now. Not really close enough to do anything else.

Yaveneee quickly speaks a word of magic, twisting time itself to accelerate her companions, moving closer to where the battle would unfold but staying out of the past of the warriors.

Haste on everyone within 50ft of me. Since I go first Vivi should be affected as well. (pretty much everyone but Krysta)

Oooh, that makes my movement 90ft... that changes my turn a bit.

Feeling time around him seem to slow somehow, Vivi gives Yavenee a nod before setting off toward the hags. The ordinarily fast monk covers even more distance due to the time distortion, able to reach the hag that Krysta burrowed behind.

"Hey.... UGLY.... payback... TIME!"

Spitting out the words, the monk follows up with a punch and a kick to his former torturer, the blows aimed at what would normally be vital spots on a human.

With his doubled size and accelerated movements from the Witch's magic Sunday bounds through the tunnel into the middle of the cavern pausing, to himself and only as much as his enhanced perceptions let him, he noticed something and went right as his allies went left, his blade and spirits dancing ahead of him.

I'll still have Rajah move (not charge) into a charge lane for next turn, and I'll still have Valonia cast Mirror Image and Raging Song.

With Vivi having reached her position and flanking the hag to distract her Krysta unleashed a flurry of strikes once again. She went more for precision than raw striking power. It seemed that her efforts were wise and worthwhile as she managed to get a few solid hits on the hag before her.

Sunday's first attack comes within an inch of hitting the hag, missing by the slightest of margins. The wisp attack succeeds, but seems to do minimal damage that doesn't seem to affect her.

Similar to Sunday, Krysta's first attack comes up just a tad short as the hag is able to avoid her bite. One wing and both claws are able to connect however, one of them critically so. Krysta also finds that the hags seem to be resistant to the damage she delivers to them, not all of it going through.

Vivi comes running in and finds Krysta behind a large hag, throwing his body into the creature he easily lands both of his attacks and deals full damage to the ugly female hag.

Yavenee casts a spell to make everyone quicker and Valonia and Raja both move up, getting into position. Delendir runs into the room and looses a volley of arrows at the the northern hag, missing his first two shots but landing the third one. The hag's skin seems to not take full damage from the ranger's arrow.

The hag to the south that stands in front of Krysta attempts to bite and claw at her, but the dragon's scales are too tough to allow damage to be done and she misses all three times.

The hag in front of Sunday slams her left claws into his body followed briefly by her right claws. With both claws embedded in his chest, she rips them sideways rending and ripping his skin.(3 hits from natural attacks + rend: 10+14+15+21 damage)

The third hag moves to flank Sunday with unusual quickness for such a large beast. Once it position it lunges forward and slashes him with her claw (10 damage).

Squaring off against the back of the hag between him and Krysta, Vivi throws a left punch, following it quickly with a left kick and a right punch before attempting a right kick that is just enough off so as to miss before landing on the ground again.

"How... feel... NOW..." the monk yells at his foe. "Soon... end... dead... like OGRES!"

Sunday just a minor thing, but could you possibly move 5 feet slightly so Valonia can get flank without missing out on a full attack? If you cannot stand there without proking, thats all good, but if you have accepted Raging Song, you get all your rage benefits + Outflank. Means that if Valonia or Rajah crit and you are flanking (or vice versa) you get that free AoO. Its just an idea - might not be possible.

With a vast array of buffs active, Valonia and Rajah enter the fight, ready to slaughter the hags.

Unsure if Rajah also gets a Haste attack, so didn't roll it. If Sunday moves into that 5 foot spot, then add +4 to Valonia's rolls. If that critical hit confirms, and Sunday accepted Raging Song, and Sunday was flanking, then he gets a free AoO. Rajah also gets like 3 Grab attempts that I can roll, but I am 99.9% sure that hag would need to be Jesus to still be standing.

I don’t think Sunday can move at all due to him and the Hags being Large, sorry. And he’s also using his own Rage for his Rage Powers.

Edit: that’d be a GM call on whether he can 5ft step to the left with that bit of wall up top.

Just as a heads up Sunday, you get both abilities when part of Raging Song + your own Rage - the best of both worlds, all the rage powers and feats I grant + those that you get. The bonus doesn't stack (you use whats higher) but you get everything I get in addition to what you get.

@ Sunday & Shadow: Wouldn't the rend hit then if one of the claw attacks landed? Or am I misreading that wisp miss thing? Or does rend require both claws to hit? And... what does rend do to you anyway?

Rend requires both claws to hit. Imagine Sabretooth sinking both sets of claws into you, then pulling his arms apart in opposite directions.....Yeah....that's what rend does.

I'm going with no on the 5' step, the wall to the north and hag to your south prevent a "hard corner" move here. You're right on rend missing, I read it as "if two natural attacks hit" initially, not "both claws".

Vivi lands his first three hits, but misses his fourth.

Rajah and Valonia charge in and delivery several severe blows, one of them critically wounding the hag and it's enough to put her down to the ground.

Evil Eye Hex - Will: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (15) + 6 = 21

The hag behind Sunday is willful, but Yavenee's hex still affects her.

Four of Krysta's strikes land on the hag to the south, only missing her last one. Her and Sunday's combination of attacks finish off the southern hag quickly, leaving only the one behind Sunday.
