Reta sees Chuffy rushing out to secure his lead, but he stops short of the first stirge’s range. With a wicked grin, she snaps off a shot with her bow at the creature, then rushes forward with wild abandon in front of her biggest competition so far.

A huge grin slowly crawls onto Mogmurch's face. "That be it? Just kill big bugs and no fall in water? Don't gotta use stupid longshank boots for to crunch them even? This muchly more better for Mogmurch than stupid bird shooting!"

The alchemist gleefully but awkwardly clops his way to the edge of the water at a point nearest a stirge (25' move), then pulls out a sealed clay jar, shakes it violently, and throws it with an enthusiastic shout.

[dice=Alchemist's Bomb (Fire) => "leftmost" stirge]d20+8[/dice]

Unfortunately, as he follows through on the pitch, the clumsy over-sized boots cause him to stumble. With a yip of surprise he falls flat on his face in the mud at the edge of the swamp...

Yes, this is how I understand the text, if you ROLL a natural 5 or less, you drop, no matter what skill ranking you have in Acrobatics.

Chuffy moves first, he stomps through the swamp and jumps to the first plank. Followed by Reta who almost pushes Chuffy down the plank while she passes. She shoots an arrow at the closest stirge, but the arrow hits only the nasty water below. The crowd starts to boo, they want to see stomped stirges and mud covered goblins. Mogmurch moves up to the mud shore and hurls a bomb at the stirge in fron of him. The bomb explodes next to the stirge, almost setting the plank on fire.

Sorry, M-Th doesn't allow much time for posting (new work schedule). Sometimes I can, sometimes I can't.
Also, apologies in advance if I miss some system detail, I've been having health problems with fatigue and mental clarity. I'm listing everything explicitly so you can see where the numbers come from.

Moving forward 4 squares (6 squares normally, -1 square for boots = 5 max). (If the -4 stirge is not within 30' [I *think* it is, including diagonals], he can still take a step to the left.)

Poog also chuckles deviously to himself, thinking that he can avoid having to go out on the planks.
Raising one hand up to the sky and pointing with the other hand into the swamp, Poog shouts "Zarongel, make me aim well!"

Casting Fire Bolt at the stirge already hit by Mogmurch (I'm assuming whoever gets the "kill" strike gets the points)
Ranged Touch: 1d20 ⇒ 19 + 2(BAB) + 2(DEX) = 23, I think that hits
Damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5

A 30' stream of fire shoots out of Poog's finger and crisps the stirge.

Sorry to hear that, I hope you are feeling better now. We are not under pressure I think, so take your time! The stirge is within 30ft.

Asking for Zarongel's blessings Poog takes aim and shoots a fire bolt at the injured stirge. The stirge drops into the foul water, leaves some bubbles on the surface and sinks.

The crowd is a bit disappointed that nobody dropped into the mud, but burning stirges are also good entertainment. The final dare is called the 'bird pie'.

Wise Mummy Sprattleharsh leads the chieftains-in-waiting back toward the Birdcruncher cave — as they approach, the stink of rotten meat and spoiled milk grows. The scent comes from a horrific “pie” that’s been created in a 10-foot-diameter bowl-shaped depression in the rock — the bowl is only 18 inches deep, but filled with a nasty, not-quite-boiling-hot slurry of spoiled milk, mud, swamp water, mashed-up grass, and dead birds. The top is covered over with an incongruously delicious - and flakylooking - pie crust. Several cauldrons of boiling pie filling sit nearby, along with a number of large, dented metal funnels.

Wise Mummy Sprattleharsh explains that the giant birdmeat pie is still baking, and the chieftains-in-waiting will all be tied up and placed in the pie to cook. Each goblin is allowed to carry and wear all of his gear and equipment in this dare. The first goblin to make it out of the pie earns 10 points. The second goblin earns 5 points. The third earns 3 points. Any contestants after the third earn no points at all.

Complicating these matters, though, are the four golden eagles that are going to join the goblins in the pie — these eagles have had their wings clipped so they can’t fly, but they’re very much alive and very angry at their predicament. Killing an eagle earns that goblin a bonus of 5 points, so a goblin who stays in the pie and comes out last can still come out ahead in points if he kills enough eagles.

With the rules explained, the contestants are lined up around the edge of the pie and have their wrists and ankles tied together. As Wise Mummy uses her last thunderstone, all contestants are pushed into the pie.

For the purposes of this “combat,” you can assume that no real movement is going on — the pie is only 10 feet across, so no matter where the PCs are in the pie, they’re adjacent to any foes they might wish to attack. All of the contestants and all four eagles are treated as if they’re squeezing (–4 penalty on attack rolls, –4 penalty to AC) due to the cramped quarters. The eagles themselves flap and flop about and are tremendously agitated. A goblin has the grappled condition as long as her hands and feet are tied. A successful DC 18 Strength check or DC 22 Escape Artist check is needed to break free of the bonds — both are standard actions to attempt. A free goblin can untie another goblin’s bonds automatically as a standard action. The pie filling is quite hot, and as the contents slosh out, the goblins add fresh boiling foulness to the pie via the dented funnels. Each round a creature remains in the pie, it must succeed at a DC 10 Fortitude save or take 1 point of fire damage. An eagle that dies of pie burns earns no one points.

Oh, I hope you get well soon! Everything correct in the above statement! Getting out of the pie is a move action once you are free. Regarding the casting, I'm not sure if there is a ruling on this, but I think due to the melting hot environment you should make a concentration check.

Reta breaks free from the bonds and draws her dogslicer. Also Chuffy untangles the bonds and draws his weapon. But he moves towards the edge o the pie pool. Mogmurch tries desperately to break the bonds, but the heat makes him weak. Poog also tries to get rid of the bonds, but fails.

Chuffee climbs out of the pie if he can, carrying his blade between his teeth so he has both hands to climb...

Sorry, didn't see where you'd called for the start of a new round, also my Internet was out at home for 24 - 36 hours so was trying to cope at work via phone. (Still am just now but back to normal this evening yay!)

Mogmurch thrashes around in the steamy pie, wailing and struggling, but is unable to break free. Fortunately it seems he's tougher than he thinks, as he's not yet been scalded by the hot filling.
