Both dogs, enraged by the damage they have taken full attack DR34-M12 and Hi-C respectively,
red dog Full attack: 1d20 + 8 - 4 ⇒ (20) + 8 - 4 = 242d6 + 4 ⇒ (6, 5) + 4 = 15 Well thats a crit...
red dog Full attack: 1d20 + 8 - 4 ⇒ (8) + 8 - 4 = 121d6 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4
blue Full attack: 1d20 + 8 - 4 ⇒ (9) + 8 - 4 = 131d6 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6
blue Full attack: 1d20 + 8 - 4 ⇒ (8) + 8 - 4 = 121d6 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5
The red dog lunges forward towards Hi-C; Its jaw opens almost 180 degrees and clamp down on Hi-C's stomach, ripping in deeply. it goes for another quick snap at a hand but misses its second attack.
The blue dog tries twice to slip in past DR34-M12's defenses, but is unable to bite the Android a second time.

Hi-C’s assault with his pike is successful and he is able to quickly dispatch both dogs, ending the combat.
back to exploration!

Maybe some parts of these dogs are valuable to some cultures? Like how this one goblin tribe I know eats the genitalia of... Handsome notices everyone staring silently at him and he stops mid-sentence.
"Errr... So anyways, maybe someone somewhere wants certain body parts from these dogs and will pay good money for it?
Culture: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (16) + 5 = 21
Just throwing this out there to give it a shot...
After we've had a rest, I assume we'll all move forward into the bridge and take a thorough look around, taking 20 perceptions if needed/allowed...? I've moved our tokens into the bridge to reflect this.
GM Friendly Sauce
The Acreon’s main bridge contains four stations equipped with consoles and controls for operating most of the ship’s systems and functions, including its computer system. Most of the control consoles are powered down or on standby right now, However it looks one of the consoles still has power.
the console has basic controls over minor ship systems. You are able remotely open and close all of the doors on the ship, including airlocks; you are able to repressurize the ship; you have control of the lighting on the ship (lights currently dim)
There are secured files that would require a few full round actions of hacking to open.
So this is the first real hackable computer and because of that I'm going to ask anyone who attempts to use the computer beyond the spoiler, attempts 3 computer checks in a spoiler and I will respond on how it went for you. Only one person can make the attempt at a time because only 1 terminal is active.
Hi-C find a trash bin that has a few empty bags of pretzels. it looks like they were the kind with a nut based butter in the center too.
Scattered throughout the entire bridge, are various sizes and shapes of what appears to be crystalline fragments.
These are noqual fragments, and there about 3 bulk here which is worth 1500 credits.
Handsome Gob
Handsome will see if he can harvest some eggs.
Medicine: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (4) + 5 = 9
...but he probably just ends up making a bloody mess of the corpses.
On the bridge, Handsome will try to access the computer.
Computers: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (6) + 5 = 11
Once activated, he'll turn the lights up to normal and repressurize any areas that are depressurized.
"There, that should make it easier for some of you who don't see so well in the dark. Hey, any of you wanna try to hack into this file? I can try but I'm no expert..."
Did the console indicate what areas were depressurized?
GM Friendly Sauce
Your attempts at harvesting eggs only yeild a bloody mess however you are able to repressurize the entire ship which takes,
how many minutes?: 1d4 ⇒ 2 Minutes to completely depressurize.
the entire ship was depressurizes since the airlocks were open to space. by closing the airlocks AND repruessurizing the ship, you are ablate restore oxygen to the entire ship.
"Egg"
Egg begins to look over the bridge and begins to study and poke things.
"Well you can ask the Eoxian delegation for a new liver. I mean since the dogs decided they wanted it more then you did, and failed to take it, it seems fitting"
Life Science: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (10) + 8 = 18

Egg hearing Gob talk about computers walks over and points to the shards."I'll look at the computers you gather those bits, they are worth a nice bit of cred"
after that he cracks his knuckles and dives right into the computer system

Putting the noqual onto the loot sheet!
GM Friendly Sauce
you are able to access the system but nothing else. there is a firewall you are not able to bypass just yet.
you can attempt to bypass the firewall again with 2 more computers checks
DR34-M12
We can post again!
"I'll go with you Hi-C. In 42.76% of the vids I've logged, people die when they go off alone in such situations. Plus, I'd like to get a good optical scan of the engines." DR34-M12 said as she slotted a fresh battery in to her rifle.

Egg lets his diminutive companion have at it as he seems eager. He also finds the Goblin quite the astounding little creature, so very ungoblin like, yet very goblin at the same time.
"By all mean Gob, feel free to see if you have better luck" He says without a hint of pride or anger. He literally was earnest in his words.
GM Friendly Sauce
Egg steps away from the console to make room for Handsome who clicks away at the keyboard for a few momemnts
you quickly realize this isn't some komkast router firewall, this is a pretty sophisticated anti hacking measure. you feel like you are close to breaking through, but just dont seem to be able to do it this attempt.

Before the universe collapses again; Hi-C and DR34-M12 will go to the engine room, keeping an eye out for more bad dogs.
"Egg"
"Did you fair any better my small friend?" Egg asks looking on with earnest intent, hoping the goblin found out something he didn't see or expect.
GM Friendly Sauce
Surrounded by machinery, this long chamber stretches across the width of the ship. All of the Acreon’s main engineering functions can be operated from this room, which also contains a tech workshop expansion bay. The ship’s power core can be accessed through maintenance panels in the forward wall. there are also two more of the Akata tentacle dogs in the engineering section of the ship!
I'll go ahead and bot Handsome's response but I'll let you guys decide what to do next until he can post.
"Theres a strong firewall surrounding most of the functions of the ships computer. I think if the 3 of us work together we should be able to bypass it. what do you two think? he says to Justin and Egg.
At this point you are in rounds but the bridge doesn't know they are in "combat" yet.

Funny, I was in the middle of posting when Friendly Sauce took the words right outta my mouth! That's pretty much what I was gonna say!
Also, I don't know if it is relevant or makes a difference but Handsome does have a hacking kit.
@Hi-C & Dreamz: RUN!!!!!
For Handsome's action, I'll delay because Handsome doesn't know what's up in the engine room and he's waiting for Egg and Justin to respond.
"Egg"
"Seems a good Idea three heads are better then one. I mean look at me four arms have never really failed me yet so its a sound science!" He says with a bit of a laugh.
Yeah figured we were well outta combat for now

"Agh! More bad dogs in the engine room, falling back." DR34-M12 said over the comms.

Hearing Dreamz over comms, Handsome hisses, "More evil dogses?!?!? We must stopses them!!!"
Handsome draws his pistol and opens the door, stepping back into the hallway.
I'm not sure what action is required to open the bridge doors or if they're already open? But I figure with a full turn Handsome is able to do the above?

If you all want to try to jointly hack the system I'll allow some assists just pick a primary. any kits you have that would help go ahead and use.

Now that the door is closed once again, the dogs are barking and scraping against the door but it seems they still can't open the door so combat is over.

"Fun's over?"
Handsome shrugs, holsters his pistol and heads back to the bridge computer to work with Dreamz and Justin on the hacking attempt. He'll also use/offer his hacking kit for others to use as needed.

DR34-M12 is able to get past the firewall with the help of Handsome and his hacking kit. You are able to access the ships logs, which detail the crews discovery of the drift rock, the initial exploration of the asteroids surface and the strange "geodes" they found there.
the captain then states that the crew was under attack from monsters that "hatched" from the geodes they brought back to the ship. (his description matches the Akata's you have faced)
the next entry is more hurried, with sounds of combat audible in the background. "There's something else-it came from the rock!" the captain reports with more than a trace of panic in his voice, "We're getting overwhelmed! I'm going to open the ship to vacuum- maybe that'll slow them down!"
the ships final log was recorded in engineering and shows the captain in his space suit."Purging the air didn't work. I've set the autopilot to continue on to Absalom Station, but we're abandoning ship. We'll fall back to the rock and try to regroup there. Acreon out." there are no further entries.
DR34-M12
DR34-M12's circuits flaired with happiness as she sliced passed the firewall. "That does it." she said with a smile, her eyes blank as she processed the data. "Well there goes the airlock idea, but at least there is a chance the crew is still alive. I wonder what this "something else" might be?"
"Egg"
"Could be anything. Ancient things dwell in the darkest reaches of the stars. Some thrive in the void while others just lie in wait for the living. My people have traveled the spaceways for centuries, but we are not a united people we roam seeking the best chances to gain spells, knowledge, wealth and trade. If I could only figure out who to contact or if we could get a message to the Starfinders we might just get some answers to these questions, or atleast an inkling?"Egg said rambling in thought.
"I say first we heal any wounded and then see if we can devise a plan about these tentadogs..Dogecles?"
Haath Chaar

Hi-C trills air through his lips with annoyance at DR34-M12's mention of the airlock.
"Figures we gotta do it the hard way. I'ma see if these guys had any liquor left over before we jump back into happy-tentacle-land."
He starts checking cabinets in the hallways for anything edible or otherwise of use.
GM Friendly Sauce
I assume Hi-C is only checking the main hallways that you have already been through? he does not find any food or drink, the hallway has few storage cabinets and is mostly paneling with an access point for engineers or communications every so often.
"Egg"
DR34 I agree getting access to more of the ship's systems would be great. If we work together I would hope we could get access and find a way to fight these Akata and Discover what sort of thing awaits us aside the annoying tentadogs
Handsome Gob
If there's nothing else to be gleaned from the bridge computers, I suggest we check out some of the other rooms, perhaps starting with the upper right corner? Looks like some kind of open pantry/kitchen and a couple doors to some bunk rooms. I'll place Handsome Gob's token in that pantry area for reference but Handsome wouldn't wander there by himself. He'd wait for the party to regroup and go exploring together.
GM Friendly Sauce
DR34-M12: the ship is not equipped with surveillance cameras. Unfortunately, besides the ships logs, there is not much of interest in the ships computer.

Hi-C and Handsome Gob: on your way to the galley you pass by 2 closed doors on one side of the hall and the other side opens into a modest kitchen space. There are plenty of preserved rations, though their quality leaves something to be desired, as well as several spices and seasonings.
Handsome Gob
If allowed, I suggest we take 20 to search rooms that don't have dogs when we open the door. Starting up in the kitchen space, then the two doors opposite the kitchen. I've moved all our tokens to the area.
"Egg"
Sounds great Gob
"Well no surveillance means that trying to figure out where these dogs we are gonna have to do sweeps. Oh well" He says as he gets up and wiggles his fingers.
Handsome Gob
I've labelled some rooms 1-5. Unless anyone objects, I figure we just hit them up in those order.
