Unaltered: Right side of face has three crude gems (one red, one yellow, and one blue) encrusted into the forehead. Also, on the right side of his head is a black and red tattoo of the profile of a many-horned dragon.The two sides of his face are asymmetrical in countless other ways.
Favored Alteration: Tall tanned human, white hair and beard, dark eyes, muscular.
Background
His Oni father was stricken with great lust for his human mother after watching her dance. He could not let anything get in the way of what he wanted, so he killed her husband and took his form in order to make love to her.
When Shauldrek was born, his mother took pity on him. That is until the bullying of the other children drove him to give in to his trickster heritage and fool the leader of the entertainers' guild into a scandal which got him arrested, leaving the guild to fend for themselves.
It was clear to Shauldrek and his mother and older sister that his leaving was the best thing for all of them. On his quest to discover his place he stumbled across a cult worshipping the devil dragon Draghignazzo. He felt at home in the monster church, no longer feeling the need to alter his garish appearance. He even attempted to train as a cleric, but when the clergy learnt of his parentage, they saw a better purpose for him: to seek out and destroy those who-like the Oni-would undermine Draghignazzo's dominion over monster-kind, as an inquisitor.
Now he hears whispers about a change of regimes to the southwest, and a young Queen seeking absolute dominion over all life in the area. Exaggerated or not, the clergy of the Temple of Devastation agree to send Shauldrek on his first official mission to preserve the authority of his deity.
Any idea when you are closing the recruitment? Just curious as it seems like there are a lot of good submissions already and I am eager to see the results.
I should also state that should I be selected I am looking at taking the mounted combat style progression to complement the hippogriff aspect of the character.

Change Unnamed to Marius Arkonen.
I'll make the alias if I get a spot.
While focused on his studies, Marius had spent less time with his family. He was visiting from the Anomanexus College when his father became upset with his ideas and lashed out at him. Marius, took the hit then looked back at his father with hate filled eyes and stormed out of the room. Later that day, Corbin was found dead in his manor, a longsword shoved through his skull from under his chin.
Marius was detained. Meanwhile, his mother, believing that her son had murdered her beloved husband, took her own life. It wasn't until a friend from the college caught the manservant that had been paid to set up the crime that Marius was finally released, months later. No longer a student, and with no family to turn back to, Marius chose to seek out new knowledge on his own and find Gaedren Lamm, the man responsible for his father's murder.

I hope recruitment doesn't close soon. Balian here was a character in another CotCT Capmaign that unfortunately fizzled. It wasn't in Pathfinder rules, but being a fighter it's easily converted.
As of THIS post, character submission stops here. The characters on the compiled sheet that Gaius created plus any that came after will be the final pool of candidates for me to administer my lottery to.

Minor tweaks have been finished, I now have the campaign trait for this, plus he has a bow incase he runs out of magic with a few loadstone arrows for metal armored enemies. I hope the minor tweaking that I hadn't done before this doesn't affect my chances of getting in. And I'm sure I checked him for mistakes, but I have the full character I want.

Will do. How much starting gold? Also, there are a couple of options I thought about my character background. First, he could have still learned from the witches, went to see how the compsognathus lived, but won't actually perform the ceremony until he levels up in the game. When he gets the familiar, then he will get his witch stuff from his training. Else, we could work his history in with the actual game.

Avg. starting gold for your class. And we can work out the level/plot discontinuity in the game.

GM Fenwick, I noticed you allow drawbacks. I think I'd like to add the Blade of Mercy trait along with a drawback. I have a few I'm still deciding on, but I'll post it probably tonight. Then I just need to do one final review of my equipment and I'm good to go.
