Moving with a sure purpose and perfect aim, the eidelon manages to slam the powerful construct against the rocks, crushing the magic animating the skeleton. Bone fragments fly everywhere as Suheyla bends over the stricken Rex and Levin tries to rush forward to tend to the dying man.

The party recovers from their stupor, and looks around them in wonder. Recalling where they are and whats going on, They are confronted with a door exiting the room on the far side, and a secret passage Myantha found.

Well, there is no description of the secret door, so we will go ahead and roll with it was wooden, and yall have busted through.
Levin attempts to unlock the door, but fouls up the mechanism. In response, the ever useful Abaal puts his shoulder down and smashes the ancient wood to splinters. Behind the door is a small five foot square of a room. It may have once been used to store valuables, but it has long since been looted. Across the walls are ancient and weathered runes and carvings, indicating the room may have held some importance. The main thing to catch your eye though, is the large stone sarcophagus sitting in the middle of the room, covered in carvings and runes similar to the ones on the walls. The lid is slipped to the side, as if the early robbers attempted to see what was within. This leaves you with a clear view of a man lying within. He has dark hair, a high forehead, and expressive brows. His robes are a deep emerald and a curious medallion lies upon his still and unmoving breast. The medallion takes a shape of an odd seven pointed star.

Continuing on.. If you would like to retcon actions, go ahead.. I dont think anyone picked up the medallion, but please state otherwise if you desire to keep it.
Levin discovers the bracers and puts them on, while Kiri identifies the Medallion. Once everyone is finished, the party moves out of the circular room, and are confronted with a long hallway with a large bas-relief carving on the wall at the other end. The hallway turns to the left at that carving, continuing on.

The party continues down the hall, coming to another junction. There is a set of doors to the right, a hall continuing onward, and a hall to the left. Coming to this junction, you hear a screech from the left and turning, you see a head attached to two wings beating itself against the door. It turns around and heads towards the party.

Lost part of my post...
As the flapping head approaches, you can see that the wings hang in tatters, barely able to keep the head aloft. Its tentacles that normally reach out for prey hang lifeless around the oversized mouth. Its normally sharp eyes are glassy and dull and it appears to be very unhealthy.
Myantha shoots her bow, but the arrow flies off harmlessly...

The alchemist and Esme stay put, but Esme draws a dagger and stands ready.
The Varguille closes the distance to the party.

First, I would like to wish a public congrats to Levin. He is welcoming his first child to the world. Congratulations, man.
Second, I have heard nothing from Rex, nor has he posted anything recently. We will continue without him for now.
