guh. tried for twenty minutes to come up with some decent lyrics fro the inspire courage ability and i can't come up with anything.
i think my job is actually killing my imagination.
"I recommend getting your heart trampled on to anyone
I recommend walking around naked in your living roomSwallow it down (what a jagged little pill)
It feels so good (swimming in your stomach)
Wait until the dust settles...

I'm alternating. It depends on what I'm fighting. My default is skyforge steel sword and fire, but you know me, I like to mix it up!
Kayla! Fair warning, I might drop the Runelords game. I got into another one that looks way better. I'll let it go for a bit before I decide, but I thought I should let you know just in case.

SO you should murder his character and take all his stuff. Everybody wins!

GM already took our stuff, won't let us find it, tells us to "figure it out" when we have questions, doesn't post a narrative, gives one and two sentence "scenes", and we signed up to play Runelords, but we're in some crappy module first. I do not mesh with this GM.
It's sad 'cause my Oracle is freakin' bomb too.

Kayla Adrianas |

*sigh* I wouldn't even call it a runelord game yet since we're still in that stupid module he wants us to play through first. I'll be really annoyed if this character ends up dieing before I even get to the AP I made her up for.
If you want to be nosy Cecil, the game is Rise of the Runelords, by Game Master Goblins Eighty-Five and my character is Zelladania. My main amusement from the game has been b#$+@ing about it to my husband.

Osslend Abenier |

I agree entirely. I've only been able to put about 10 hours into it all together so far and I've had it since Friday. This real life b.s. is seriously getting in the way.
Seriously though, the game is pretty amazing so far. I'm only level 8 and I already feel like a complete b.a.

Osslend Abenier |

Agreed. Though the biggest improvement for me is story. All the ES games are essentially sandbox games that you can choose to follow a story through. But this one has the best story of all of them so far, in my opinion, and the narrative seems to be stretching out really nicely. I've heard that people have logged 60+ hours and still aren't through the main storyline. That seems A LOT longer than the main story line for other ES games.
That said, I do enjoy going off the beaten path and just getting into trouble. Oh! Speaking of which...have you noticed that if you clear out some of the old abandoned forts that have cultists or bandits in them that the imperials re-settle it after you've cleaned it out? I should be getting paid for that, heh!

I know you don't have it until tomorrow when you summon Owen, but...
Loot from the commanders:
A Breastplate etched with Odalisk's royal seal.
A scimitar
A pair of soft, blue boots
A pair of bracers
A nice silk cloak
Some linen wrappings
A belt with a large iron buckle
A silver circlet
A messenger bag
1500 Odaliskan sovereigns

That's correct. I will take the morning to identify all the magic items while Owen builds a Funeral Pyre for two. The main purpose of taking the bodies was to prevent resurection. Just let me know how many spellcraft rolls you need.
I also recommend that another caster also check/double check the items in case I miss something they may get it. It increases our chances of identification using essentially the same amount of time.

Cecil Von Spirito |

I will take a spellcraft roll for each item you want to check. For each check that passes, you get a KN: Arcana roll to determine the school of magic. If you roll high enough on the KN: Arcana, you also determine any magical properties that item has.
Are you house ruling that? Identifying magic items has become a lot easier. In conjunction with detect magic It's a straight Spellcraft roll DC=15+caster level. Takes a minute of study per item. If you fail you can retry the next day, but not sooner.

I should have done it this way yesterday. Was a bit tired when I posted. Unless told otherwise i'm going to assume all this is magic.
Loot from the commanders:
A Breastplate etched with Odalisk's royal seal. = Spellcraft 22
A scimitar =Spellcraft 12
A pair of soft, blue boots= Spellcraaft 11
A pair of bracers = Spellcraft 14
A nice silk cloak = Spellcraft 24
Some linen wrappings= SPellcraft 11
A belt with a large iron buckle= spellcraft 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (11) + 6 = 17
A silver circlet = spellcraft 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (1) + 6 = 7
A messenger bag = spellcraft 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (4) + 6 = 10
1500 Odaliskan sovereigns = Assuming non magic.
If Kayla could roll Spellcraft for all these too that'd be super. Represnting our morning activities.
Also remember in the morning Owen will be getting a funeral Pyre ready.
