Rescheduled Florida vacation, due to Hurricane Irma. But it turned out nicely, so no harm done.

That veil sure is interesting. Coming up with the gold and/or prestige is going to take a bit. Gonna need to remember it once get up a few levels.

Maybe I'm just slow, but what is good about the veil? 5000 more gold and 18 pp for a (admittedly cool looking) lesser empower rod seems like a poor choice.

In other news, game was super fun, thanks for letting me jump in and running it!

- The head slot isn't used frequently, so it's not as vital as say the belt slot (where everything competes with the Belt of Giant Strength)
- You don't have to draw a magic rod, very good for me who wants to be on the front lines and blast, anyway.
- If you don't like casting or you're done with casting, you can slap on rage and go to town.

Might be a pricey, though. Then again, what are you spending prestige on at this point (besides saving up for recovery + raise dead)?
