I remember being in elementary school (we call it primary school in Australia) during a total solar eclipse. The teachers kept us inside the entire time.

Back then, I had no idea it was such a rare event.

I live in Boston, so I'll have a decent view of the eclipse in 2 days. One of the many reasons I chose to work from home (but don't tell my boss that!)

Mutahir is a Rahadoumi, and a true believer in the tenants of the first law of man. A Ex-Pure legion officer, he still holds that law above all else, but conflicted with his country with a simple philosophical problem. "Why should any man be beholden to another man, if no man should be beholden to any god?"

Having fled Rahadoum to join up with Liberty's Edge and the pathfinders, while he hopes to see the day where all men are free from the bonds of the slavery of faith, first he wants to see all people free from more physical bonds.

As a Rahadoumi, Mutahir has bonuses against divine magic and cannot willingly accept the effects of a divine magic spell even if harmless.

Cirri, I'm afraid Shield is a Personal spell. Which means Riddy could only use the wand on himself. (Thanks to Share Spells, you could cast your own Shield spell on Riddywhipple (but not a wand, has to be your spell), and Share Spells doesn't go back to the master, i.e. even if Riddy had Shield (from Page of Spell Knowledge or whatever), still couldn't cast it on you. At least, that's my understanding, ymmv, etc.

I will be attending Strategicon from Friday through Monday... Will be able to make limited posts, but not reliably nor frequently... I will try to keep up with at least one post a day, but no guarantees. Please bot me as needed to keep up the pace of the game, thanks.
