Yea, its getting away from us a little bit. While I have no problem with folks splitting up, I'd rather not turn this into an "every man for himself" situation. The problem being is that by going off to speak to someone on your own you are pretty much denying another player a chance to properly encounter that person/place and provide their own input.
I know this may put some reins on players in terms of what they see themselves doing, but we also have to respect the fact that from an OOC perspective we have other players here who want to be included as well. So if you are indeed going to split up, I'd prefer the discussion be made in character, with others, and "teams" agreed upon.
What is happening is exactly what I want to avoid, with Hannah heading one way, Iacobus headed another, and the main portion of the party coming down from the inn and not knowing what everyone is doing. Remember, Kurst approached, and gathered you, as a group.
However, if you choose to strike out on your own, that is your call. But know that I won't be held responsible for anything that might happen to you that was meant for a group.
Just sayin :)

If Iacobus is ok with it I would suggest we have the main group exit (I think we're on our way out anyway) and run into Hannah and Iacobus before they set out. At that point we can share info and choose a place to start.

I am for sticking together too. As we fight clues the sub-group that finds a clue might not have the knowledge skills or other skills to understand it. We could miss out on an important lead hit a dead end.

On the website there are a list of all NPCs that are considered "common knowledge" type people. Any native would know the names and faces of these NPCs and they are well-known enough in town that even non-natives would be able to gather this information without difficulty. I've included pictures for the ones the supplements provides.
This site also has a map with the main areas of the town, which is also included in the player's guide. As the game goes on it will have additional information.

            A gentle reminder...
- You must be a daily poster. Preference will be made for those who show higher activity on the boards and a history of PbP activity. I will strive to always keep the game moving and expect players who will do the same. I am usually online during the day and post mostly in that window of time between 6am and 6pm EST, so that is when my most active hours will be. Obviously things happen, so I do understand that at times you might be unable to post, or I also might be otherwise detained. If that happens in the case of a player, I will allow a reasonable amount of time before GMPC'ing you along.
- If a player fails to post within a reasonable amount of time without notifying the group that they will be unavailable they will be moved to inactive status, removed from the active game, and replaced with another applicant. I am taking this one seriously folks and I won't let an inactive player ruin it for everyone else. So understand what you are committing to before you apply. If you will be away a few days, let the group know and give us some standard marching orders for while you are away. The game will go on, but at least others won't be waiting for you.

On that subject, I expect to be able to check in daily, but my posting may be sporadic for the next two weeks. I am helping put on a convention (I'm the Gaming Operations Director) in two weeks and will be spending a lot of my free time prepping for that.
I will be unavailable from March 19-22, as those are the days of the convention.

My conventions start in full swing next month, so I know the pain. Luckily I can't really do prep at work so that is where my posting will mostly be coming from.

On a related note as I'm at the computer all day I can generally be a fairly frequent poster. This can mean that I post too much at times and overrun other characters who have different time constraints. I try and be cognizant of this and modulate my posts (delay posting, let a few people post between, add questions to other characters in a posts, things like that). If you guys do feel like Corentin is jumping out front too much please jet let me know and I'll be happy change things up.

I'm with Johan and Bellanie. I've been checking in frequently, but I feel like the current plot thread doesn't really leave space for six characters to be productively active at once.

Just so I can push things along, I saw two proposals from the group. One, investigate the Plague House. Second, speak with Brinya. Which one are you all pursuing at this time?
Also note, it is getting late in the evening at this point. By the time you exit the Clamor it will be well past dusk.

Iacobus was actually trying to talk with Brinya as the others were following their own investigations, sorry if I hadn't made that clear. That was why I hadn't made a gameplay post in several days, I was waiting on a response.
edit: Okay, that was initially why I hadn't made a post. Monday & Tuesday were all about eat, work, sleep.

I will be completely out of touch March 19-22, but should be back to normal after that (for a short time, at least; GenCon is coming). Until next Wednesday, I should be able to post daily (and will attempt to do so). If you are in one of my games, please be patient. If I am in one of yours and slowing things up, please bot me as necessary to keep things moving.

Correct, but after that I stated I wanted to avoid the party splitting into several individual groups or solo players, and the group as a whole headed to the Sanctuary. In the future if the party agrees to split up, and accepts the good and bad that comes from that, I am fine with it. But for the sake of giving everyone a chance to participate I would ask it be avoided as an independent action of your own choosing. While it might make complete sense for you in character you must also understand that this is a group game and sometimes we must adjust our play to accommodate the many other players joining us on our trek.
This goes for everyone, if you request to take a specific action and feel I have missed it, please speak up. Don't just sit quietly for the better part of a week waiting for me to get to you. Every one of you is an experienced poster, so I assume each of you knows when things are waiting on an action or input on your part. I try to keep things moving as much as possible without zooming the action by you and preventing you from having a chance to share your thoughts or actions.

Bella, 5' step is just a 5' step. IT doesn't count as a move or standard. It just has a restriction that you can't physically move in addition to taking a 5' step (you still get the move and standard).
