Round 3

Attack (Greatsword): 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (7) + 5 = 12

Hermann attempts to deal with the rat in their "rank", but in trying not to hit Jokbur or Jonas also manages to not hit the rat either.

hp 17, AC 20

After Quirmydt kills the rat, Jonas steps into that square AF/37 to use his weapon on the farther rat, but misses while Hermann misses the same agile rat.

Edmund, Ariella, and Jokbur left up

"Hermann just splattered the last one." Jonas said, still staring at her. "So... when is that fun going to happen?"

The last rat is dead, and you are now on the verge of getting more powerful. The kobold looks nervous.

Anxious to get a level, the party moves on down the hallway to the south, keeping an eye out for traps.

The passageway juts west for 10 feet before continuing south for another 40' then turning to the east. Then 30' later it turns north than another 30' back east. Here the passageway continues to the east before turning south and also there is a way north leading to a door.

Stumbling through the door Quirmydt sees:

There are 11 alcoves in the room, ten of which contain statues that appear to be idols or religious statues of gods. They are all quite different in style and appearance, but they seem to have one characteristic in common; all of them are depicted holding dice, cards, or some other sort of gambling imagery. The one alcove that does not contain a statue is the one at the middle of the north wall, directly across from the entrance. This alcove contains an altar with a bowl-shaped indentation in the top.

You enter cautiously looking around and notice that each of the three alcoves in the room’s northern wall has the indented impression of a hand pressed into the back wall of the alcove.
