You can continue healing if needed. I've assumed you've pro-actively did that before going to the next part.
Iyasset brings you forth, proud of himself. A steep staircase leads to open air again, where the walls of the trench quickly diminish in height, giving a clear view of the desert beyond the Sandflow Source. You leave the Oread by the exit.
Suddenly, without warning, as you exit, a burst of fire at the edge of the trench flares up into several roughly humanoid shapes, all of which begin advancing toward the site’s entrance. A faint rumble of earth joins the elementals, and then a massive, stout woman made of stone appears. Similarly, she is as big as Iyasset.
“The Ainsi continue to cause us trouble,” she says in a slow grumble. “And now, you ally with these flesh-things. Do you really believe them to be the prophets?”
Slowly, her rocky face shifts into a half-smile. “Prophet or not, the Goanron Triumvirate would have a use for you. Join us, and we will give you rewards that make the offerings of the Ainsi pale in comparison. The Ainsi are flighty and careless. The only certainty with the Ainsi is their tendency toward violence and treachery. Whatever they’ve promised you, they would just as soon throw you off a cliff and steal from your corpse."
Iyasset interjects, angrily "Do not be deceived by her words! The Goanran are nothing but fools, they probably do not even know where the Janni is! Come with I, and ignore these beings."
In rebute, the Earth elemental roars. "But we do know where Jamila is, we have much more to offer than the filthy Ainsi!"
They both continue to shout names at each other, claiming their tribes are more worthier and that each of their leaders know better of Jamila.
At the end of this conversation, you need to pick a side to follow to meet their leader.
Belinda Bluefoot |
Belinda looks from one elemental to the other.
"Maybe you could each put forward why you are the best group to follow... and not why the other group is the wrong one?"
She shrugs
"You both claim to know where Jamila is. Perhaps you could show us how much else you know - about the prophets for example?"
GM Batpony |
The arguments become more superficial as they explain why they are better. Mostly talking about they're physical appearances and capabilities and why they are the superior elemental.
As for why you are the prophets, their answers remain no different from what Iyasset told you previously. "That the time is right, and you are here."
Belinda Bluefoot |
Belinda looks back to her companions. "Iyasset has done right by us so far. I have no quarrel with either group, but I'd prefer to bet on the pig I have already seen race."
Kraak Sharpbeak |
Felicitas ponders for a moment before answering."But the other side did not request from us to kill someone!"

"There is that, but we don't know what they would have us do instead. And Iyasset agreed in the end that we could let the oread live. It might be just chance why we met Iyasset first, but I prefer to stick with her."
GM Batpony |
Nemis |
"I agree Kraak, but Belinda has a point."
Nemis will vote to stay with Iyasset, but will defer to the group.
Xuan Fung |
Fung turns his head back and forth between the two parties, clearly confused. He was disturbed when Iyasset told the party to kill the oread without clear reasons, but then again, she didn't object or intervene when the party let her live.
Finally, his natural affinity to the air elemental, flighty as she is, wins over, and he simply nods in assent to Nemis' reply.
Kraak Sharpbeak |
Nodding Felicitas smiles."So be it. I mainly wanted to be the advocatus diaboli. Iayessit, what shall we do next!"
Khalib the Accursed |
"I agree that we should stick with our air elemental friend here, we aren't turncoats by any means, after all."

As you turn to walk away with Iyasset, the new Emissary shouts at you! "So be it! If you won't join us, you won't join anyone!" Next to her, three medium sized fire elementals emerge from the sand.

Iyasset is a soft ally, i.e. his aid in combat is already taken into account by reducing the CR, he is on field but does not do any real attacks.

So I think I misinterpreted it, Iyasset does attack the enemy, and it's reflected in the CR so the encounter is more difficult than normal.
Khalib and Felicitas start to inspire the party prior to the attack that is to come. Nemis waste no time and strikes at the enemy with some mental energy.
In a single file line, the enemy charges at the pathfinders, each picking out their own target to attack. Fortunately for most, their initial charge does not intimidate the group.
Iyasset laughs of the punitive damage from the fire elemental and shows in return his strength, nearly taking out the fire elemental.

GM Batpony |
Khalib's swing does not connect with the elemental. Toctep brings himself to a large side to go head on head with the creature, he strikes twice at the creature delivering a good amount of damage to it. The elemental in return sets his sights on Toctep and double slams him! He clearly shows his strength against the raging Nagaji.

Belinda's strike is enough to see the fire elemental fall to the ground. Leaving the pathfinders with only one threat remaining.
Kraak Sharpbeak |
Felicitas sees that she is attacked in melee and parry riposts
Parry,riposte: 1d20 + 10 - 4 ⇒ (20) + 10 - 4 = 261d20 + 10 ⇒ (8) + 10 = 181d6 + 5 ⇒ (2) + 5 = 7

The riposte was not enough to knock out the elemental, so Belinda's attack will still be needed to knock it out. But i'll assume the Felicitas's regular attack is against the earth elemental, as it's the only remaining baddie.

With little distraction, everyone turns their attention to the earth elemental. Nemis fires some magic missiles. Toctep continues to claw at it, first claw hits, but second dodged. Fung blast some energy into it. Khalib, in the meanwhile, supports the group by attempting to heal some of Tocteps' wounds. But the earthen still stands somewhat strong.
With the smaller elementals out of the way, Iyasset and the earth elemental turn towards each other and pursue a battle of giants. The Pathfinder's continue to hurl attacks at the earth elemental, and finally it starts to give way, being visibly weakened by the numerous attacks. Toctep delivers a hard blow that finally knocks her to the ground. Within the minute, numerous little portals open up, and send the fire and earth elementals back to what is presumably their home plane.
This next part has very little details given in the scenario.. so if you start to ask difficult questions, I may have to make up the answers!
Iyasset continues to escort you, he brings you to an area near the mountains that you have came from. He asks you to wait for a short moment as he briefs his leader on your trials and the encounter that you had just been through. You don't wait very long, as you are then greeted to a private audience with Aridiea, another elemental take resembles some sort of a humanoid form, although unlike Iyasset, her face looks like he has seen 1000 years. She studies you for a moment before speaking.
"Alas, I first have to apologies for the troubles we have cause you. I'm afraid you are not the prophets. Although, I recognise that the pathfinder society is a very influential one, and would hope we can build ties together."
"I know you seek the Janni, and I shall share with you what information we know about her. We have tracked her as far as we could, she has travelled through this mountains, and through a network of caves, but after that we no longer no where is she. However we know as much that she has travelled away from the material plane, likely into the elements. She is also strongly tied to the Concordance of Elements."
"As a peace offering, take this ring of feather falling, and may we offer you one other gift?" He holds out in his hand a pair of sandals of the lightest step and a wind fan.
You can choose one of them, and it'll be reflected accordingly in your chronicle.
Belinda Bluefoot |
"Why thank-you Aridiea."says Belinda.
She turns to converse with the others "For me, I think the sandals would be more helpful. But if one of you has a strong desire for the fan, I'll be happy for us to accept that instead."
Kraak Sharpbeak |
Bowing deeply."Your offer is gratious accepted. I do not mind the sandals myself!"
Toctep |
"Thank you for your gift, I prefer the sandals."
Nemis |
Nemis ponders, and eventually breaks with, "I prefer the fan myself. "

Xuan Fung |
Fung bows deeply Aridiea. "Thank you. Whatever you gift us would be appreciated."
To clarify, must it be the same item for the whole party, or it can different for each of us? If it is the former, Fung doesn't have any preference. If it's the latter, he'll go for the sandals.
GM Batpony |
Sorry if it wasn't clear earlier, but it must be as a group. Whichever of these items the PCs chose as a group, each PC gains access to her preferred item on her Chronicle sheet.
Nemis |
I'll acquiesce to the majority then.
GM Batpony |
Any burning questions? Else we'll head back to the venture captain for conclusion.
The elemental elder offers the group the sandals as there is a majority vote.
