Lore nods to Aro and Eadie... "Sounds like you two have this - but I can add a little food to the mix if more is needed, and I can create quite a bit of water for them as well if they need it - it can be more essential to survival than food if they are lacking, even if we have to ferry it up with ropes one skin at a time."

Khamul looks up to where the fortress is hitting the ceiling of the cavern and holding up the fracture that it has caused. "I don't think they'll be able to get out that way. Looks pretty well lodged up there and I don't want this whole place coming down on us. Don't these things usually come with a door though? Why don't we just make sure this place is safe before we let them out?"

Bertrag whispers you as you approach.

"No need to climb up. I can open the door and we will gladly accept any food you have. There were about a handful of Doomsday grunts to the east and their zealot cultist leader is down deeper in the mine to the southwest. But beware, he commands a powerful beast."

He pauses and then after consideration.

"I can escort the prisoners to the surface, but we will be moving slow in our condition, even with some food. If you can distract the Doomsday wackos or take them out while we escape that would help. We do not want to get caught in a battle while moving to and operating the elevator. What say you?"

Eadie looks right-left-right in the Chelish manner, to see what she can see down the unexplored mine passages.

“You know in Andoran, pedestrians look left-right-left before they cross the road. I know this because during my first eva week in Augustana, Monterey I looked right-left-right and almost got run over by a coupla Andorans driving before them an ENORMOUS Dire Dodge Ram!”

Eadie looks a little sheepish. “They stopped to make sure I was OK, which was very nice of them. (And I was). And they weren’t mad at all, but I certainly learnt a valuable lesson.”

Hahaha! I've had the similar (opposite) problem when I was in Australia and NZ.

"Glad to hear you survived that one then. At least the Andorans you came across were nice; most of the ones I have met were quite. . . loud and opinionated, often without much thought to those very opinions. Strange combination."

    Captain Andoran:
This reminds me of a friend back in Bloomington who wanted to make an Andoran gunslinger character named "Murica" who wore an Andoran-flag shirt and never bothered to reload during combat; he just carried 50 firearms and used Quick Draw to use a different gun every round. But the shoot-first-ask-questions-later philosophy probably would have gotten him into alignment troubles in PFS.

Yep, just about every American we encountered on our US trip was courteous and helpful. In restaurants, on the street, on the road, other (American) tourists. Indeed, you guys could teach us a lot about being courteous on the road.

I spoke to an Australian ex-pat on the plane over about driving on the RHS of the road. He said ‘Don’t worry. You’ll pick it up in half an hour.’ It wasn’t half an hour, but after maybe 2 hours I was fine. The only place SO and I still got confused was driving in big shopping centre/mall car parks.

    Captain Andoran:
We should introduce ‘Murica’ to ‘Straylya.’

    Captain Andoran:
I had a character who used the many-gun method. Given that each gun was at least 750gp a pop, that'd be one expensive character. I think I was up to six on Marucho before I lost his sheets and declared him Chaotic Evil (because he did love to shoot folks. Moreso because he was a "Tiefling-esque character before tieflings were legal" and he was rendered pretty much obsolete.) He had...

    • Starting Pisol
    • Double-Barreled Pistol
    • Buckler Gun
    • Coat Pistol
at the level he stopped play. I actually managed to jam each of them in one session once and had to wait for the paladin to leave to pistol-whip coup-de-grace the guy who I jammed all my guns on. I know the Pally player personally [Sethious], so he was fully aware what was going to happen. Coincidentally, I made friends with two paladins (one of which being a Godclaw Hellknight) on that character that Dragoncon, despite hating all deities/servitude (self only). Fun!

If we're aiming for 7-8 tier, I think I'll bring my grippli gunslinger (level 7).

I have a few 7's available. I'll wait to see what everyone else is bringing, and getting back home from out of town tomorrow.

    Top three choices would be;

    Baz level 8 Inquisitor

Leastrie level 7 Lore Warden/Lantern Bearer

    Caradeum level 8 Wizard/El.Knight

    So …

    Chochok – ranged damage
    Eadie – front line
    Lore – blaster/healer
    Maximo – bard/melee
    Weiman – Buffer?/secondary melee?
OR Turg – spam battlefield with summoned critters?? She also has haste

    Leastrie/Bazresh – melee//Baz also brings secondary spell-casting
OR Cara – Strong arcane caster + device disabler + secondary melee?

That’s a pretty strong group. We can make any of those three work well, Tektite! As always, play who you want to, buddy.
