| Fornitado |
Fornitado enters the first canoe. "We're not getting anywhere over here". "Let's go".
| Strang |
Strang throws his hands up in the air. "Bah! Fine, whatever. At least you'll hopefully be able to tell us about anything that might be important. Stick close to Terion, who should be able to protect you."
Seeing the elves get in a canoe, he made ready to shove off with the second. "Well, you coming or not? Terion, Bizzle: c'mon!"
Checking off the various party members in his head, "Cole, looks like you're with the elves."

She looks to Cole.

Only two in a canoe I believe. The two elves certainly would trust no mere mortals to paddle wit them :-)
Fornitado and Arvhil second...and of course more smoothly.

Cole grins widely and then attempts to set the lead to the first bend of the river, Gnasher sitting at the front, keeping it down, and the small mountain of gear between the two of them.

Terion eyes the girl for a moment - "You sure do have a lot of opinions... Too many if you ask me, but then again do as you wish - listen to me, don't listen to me, it really doesn't make much of a difference. And don't worry about my armour, I'll swim well enough with it" - the man storms off after the others, hoping he won't have to share his canoe with the annoying girl.

The canoes push off and Terion and the girl, Desdemona, find themselves arguing that they don't want to ride together.
As the first canoe slides by, the lead group looks anxiously down the passage. As the group enters the center of the pool and prepares to exit...........
The occupants of the lead canoe See spoiler fail to notice some ominous shadows and movements in the water and the second canoe is lifted suddenly in the air, propelled upwards by a huge force.

The small gnome floats to the surface and he begins splashing awkwardly. Evidently, however, they don't teach young gnomes how to swim. He slips under the water. As he goes, he gurgles out a spell. Suddenly loud concussive pops begin randomly.
Ghost Sound can create 4 humans 'worth' of sound per caster level. Bizzle wants 4 'bangs', each as loud as 4 humans could make yelling randomly in the water. He's hoping to scare away the crocs. And if we're doing this 1st edition style, I'll note that sound in water will produce a concussive effect that you would feel.
