Terion Stoutheart
Drawing out his shield in a swift movement, Terion squares against the bugbear in front of him - "Shouldn't you and your boys be surrendering by now?" - he growls, swinging his mace again.
Silver Light Mace attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (10) + 4 = 14

"We should start thinking about what we are going to do with those stuck in the web" - he adds to his companions behind him.

Gogo, lets keep this moving ;)
Arvhil
"Well we could burn them! This web is very flammable, but I do not know if it would do much real damage, or just singe their hides.
Arvhil will fire another magic missile at the bugbear terion struck (unless it is already dead, then he moves on to the next one caught in the web.)
Magic Missile: 2d4 + 4 ⇒ (2, 4) + 4 = 10
Terion Stoutheart
"Dang - dumb ones" - Terion grumbles, not really wanting to set fire to anything in such close quarters, lest they all suffocate - "Arvhil, can you make this web go away?" - the man adds, putting his mace away, unequipping his shield, and grabbing his bardiche again.
Also think I want to pick up one of the weapons from the bugbears Tribute - what were they wielding? Morning Stars?
Fornitado
Fornitado lets loose with one of his arrows at the suddenly free Bugbears.
1d20 + 5 ⇒ (3) + 5 = 8 Bow
1d8 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5 Arrow
Grrr. What kind of elf shoots like that :-)
Terion Stoutheart
Thanks for understanding Tribute. And yep, still got ma girls on vacation. I'll update as I can.
Terion wades in on the closest bugbear - "Have it your own way then" - he grumbles.
Bardiche Attack: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (19) + 5 = 24
Damage: 1d10 + 13 ⇒ (9) + 13 = 22

Arvhil casts forth his hand and a glowing green arrow streaks from his palm and flies towards one of the bugbears (AG-5).
Ranged Touch: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (13) + 5 = 18
Damage: 2d4 ⇒ (2, 4) = 6
I think it gets the same damage next turn as well
Strang
Strang follows Terion's armored bulk as he advances and slaughters the nearest foe.
"Good job, big guy," Strang encouraged Terion. "But watch this!"
With that, Strang ducks around Terion and tears off in what could be called suicidal bravado to charge along the wall and duck behind the two bugbears.
"Come get some!" Strang taunted them, brandishing his sword.

Terion Stoutheart
Terion wades into the room - "Good option" - he nods gravely at the bugbears, kicking their weapons away, and padding them down for other hidden ones - "Strang, keep an eye on the other side, will ya?" - he adds to his companion, motioning to the far side of the room.
Calling the rest of group, he herds the bugbears into a corner - "Well then, you can start talking" - he looms menacingly over them - "What are you doing inside these caves? Do you have any orders? A leader? Or do you just roam around preying on whatever comes along? Speak!"

Strang
"Hey, thanks, Fornitado," Strang thanked the Elven cleric as the divine energy closed his wounds. Taking a spot inside the rear exit of the door, he looked for signs of impending reinforcements or other monster's activity.

GM Tribute
Strang strides into the large room and discovers 20pp and 40gp searching the fallen creatures.
Advancing farther down the five foot wide passage, Strang comes to another doorway. Carefully checking the door he opens it to reveal a 40' by 50' room.
This is a large vaulted room with arches rising from the corners. The floor is partially covered by rice straw mats while the rest of the floor is hard stone. In the ceiling in the center is a small chest resting upside down. On the far wall is a door with a large keyhole.
Starting by both doors are a set of rungs two feet apart that stop short of the chest by five feet.
Strang decides to report his find to the rest of the group.
Map reset as you advance to the next room. Strang has made it to the door on the bottom.
Fornitado
"Glad to be of assistance". Fornitado follows Strang into the room. "This is peculiuar". "It's almost like the room is somehow inverted". "I wonder how we turn it around"? "Maybe that keyhole"?
Terion Stoutheart
Calling the rest of group, he herds the bugbears into a corner - "Well then, you can start talking" - he looms menacingly over them - "What are you doing inside these caves? Do you have any orders? A leader? Or do you just roam around preying on whatever comes along? Speak!"
GM Tribute, any feedback from the bugbears at Terion's questions?
Strang
Strang saunters back into the room while Terion is trying to question the wretched bugbears.
"Hey, check out mah bling!" he crows, flashing the coins he'd found. "Yeah, I know - equal split and all..."
"And beyond that, there's another room - a lot bigger - while a ladder going up the ceiling to a chest stuck upside down. Huh, must be what this poor bastard's talking about. So, uhh, now what? Tie these guys up or what?"
Fornitado
Fornitado stays in the room Strang and he found, and tries to puzzle out what is happening here, while awaiting the arrival of the party.
Strang
Just to kinda keep things moving...
Strang, tired of playing 20 Questions with a bunch of green-skinned morons, spits in annoyed frustration.
"Well, what the hell, I'll just go up there and get whatever needs getting!"
With that, he turns and leaves the room to go and climb the ladder rungs.
Misc. Dice Rolls: 10d20 ⇒ (1, 10, 14, 13, 3, 13, 10, 2, 10, 20) = 96
Depending on what is appropriate, my Acrobatics is +15 and Climb is +9
GM Tribute
The bugbears lapse into stony silence.
Strang attempts to climb to the top when the top rung breaks off. It appears the fifteen foot long rung was not firmly attached, and Strang falls taking 1d6 ⇒ 2 Falling Damage
Strang tries again, and stretches gracefully from the second rung, as he extends his body close to the chest, he feels a pulling and manages to gracefully tuck his body and flip his feet in a graceful tuck and then extend his arms high as acrobats do after a perfect landing.
Strang is now standing on the ceiling looking down at you!!! He drops a copper coin and it lands next to the chest!!
Arvhil
"Interesting...reverse gravity! This is a very powerful spell my friends. Whoever their master is they have access to a source of potent magic, or are themselves wielders of strong magic. We will have to be careful!"
GM Tribute
Strang carefully looks at the chest and finds the most diabolical magical trap. It will take amazing skill to bypass the magical trigger, but then, magical traps are something he can do.
Two others with picks could aid. Two others without picks could aid with a disable device penalty of -2 due to improvised tools. There is the matter of a DC15 acrobatics checks to get to the chest however.
Fornitado
Fornitado looks up at the target chest. "Well I don't know much about locks, and mechanical things, but I can use my spiritual power to assist in a small way.
Fornitado will cast "Guidance" on all attempting, with each getting a +1 to their roll.
Strang
"Haha, oh, man, this is so sweet!" Strang laughs in awe at such a novelty as standing on the ceiling.
"Alright, now, let's see what I can do about this frigging trap!"
