He opens his mouth and you see a hideous array of fangs - he moves towards you and then tries to bite a large chunk out of you while his fingers, with flexing hands filthy nails hardened into claws, ready to rend flesh from your bones.

Takara sees the creature and recoils a bit as it bites into the dwarf, but the stout man seems to nearly decapitate the ghoul with his axe, so she waits to try and cast a spell until after she sees if the undead is destroyed.

"Come!" she yells to her pet ghoul as he bounds to her.

If the enemy creature still stands, she will cast Command Undead.

Takara double moves to follow Dwalindor and Thorppe, keeping her ghoulish charge by her side. As she approaches the curtain, she sees a gout of fire illuminate the cloth, but it looks like her compatriots avoided the brunt of the blast.

Dangit, I moved things on the map. %&!*$!#&. This is the correct one from last round, yes you got hit - along with Albus and anyone else who moved past the curtains.[ooc]

Thorrpe hits with the crossbow bolt and then Albus cuts down the fiend with his sword - Takara realizes, belatedly, that the creature was a ghast - an intelligent undead and based on the decay newly turned.

Sadly anything you would have learned from the creature is gone.

[ooc]The back room - and any clues - is now on fire! How are you going to put it out?

@GM: Command Undead (the spell that I intended to use, I will specify better in the future) has no HD limit. If it fails the save, the undead falls under my control. Also, my Command Undead (feat) still has 7 HD left in the reservoir. I added my current HD controlled vs. HD pool to my tagline in the resources tab.

Moot either way as I still had to double move to follow Dwalindor and couldn't use either the spell or feat.

Takara will assist Thorppe in grabbing whatever he points to while scanning the room for anything he missed. She also commands the Ghoul to wait outside as she utters a quick prayer for the souls of the ghast and the men.

If you all can make 3 Reflex saves at DC 15 you can put out the flames. The number of rounds it takes will determine how badly the fire spreads. Also, this appears to be an alchemist's lab so....

Well, I'll take it that Thorrpe and Dwalindor put the fire out in round two.

Make a Perception Check as well.

After reviewing the lab you find a number of used items but nothing too usable - the ghast is wearing a robe, has a crafting kit and formula book on him and several vials.

The thugs are carrying masterwork heavy maces, slings with 20 sling stones, onyx rings worth 65 gp, and wearing masterwork studded leather.
