"Yeah she ran upstairs yonder...still running if she knows what's good fer her ."
Dwalindor shrugs and after checking the fallen thugs or dogs or anything in the room of value, he heads in a direction not yet traveled.
Dwalindor the Pahmet

Destroy the zombies? Are they moving? I will wack all of dems."
Dwalindor will move back into the room.
perception: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (16) + 9 = 25
[ooc]Can he tell if any do not look like zombies - like could be regular people not yet zombified?'[/b]
Dwalindor the Pahmet

Did you need a new percep roll from Dwalindor?
Dwalindor the Pahmet
|
"So now what, guys? I am still wondering if our girl is out there running around plottin against us.
Dwalindor the Pahmet
|
Well this was fun and all...but yeah, let's go check it out. Thorpe?
| Thorrpe |
Thorrpe walks along the wall and looks at the door
1d20 + 10 ⇒ (17) + 10 = 27 traps check
Dwalindor the Pahmet
|
"So Thorpe, what dids ya find?"
if no traps, Dwalindor will open the door and look through.
| DMummy |
Dwalindor and Thorrpe will discover a panel hidden in the altar in the middle of the room but no way to open the panel - the hinge is too cunningly hidden for even the cunning rogue and barbarian.
Noonan discovers that there is a deconsecrated seal of a phoenix with whippoorwills taking flight embedded into the altar - perhaps a family crest since no Pharasman religious sect uses the symbol. The seal could be cleansed if you were able to immerse it in a stream of Pharasman blessed holy water that would last for five minutes.
The door is untrapped and as you walk in you see a room flanked by statues of female figures clothed in spidery robes and masks stand with arms outstretched at either end of this wide, short hall. The tiled floor is a detailed mosaic starscape.
| Thorrpe |
yea. I know that it is just for finding the door, but maybe since we found it it might give bonus to the perception score? Just trying to figure out a way to get that phat lootz!
Dwalindor the Pahmet
|
"Well, maybe we keep looking and we find something that will help."
Dwalindor the Pahmet
|
If we already searched it and just the stuff mentioned above, then find the next door/exit and leave. Otherwise search T10 for 19
Huh. Anything good in here? If not, how about we open this next door...or is that just a paining?
| Thorrpe |
Thorrpe will check the next door
1d20 + 10 ⇒ (11) + 10 = 21 perception
1d20 + 17 ⇒ (14) + 17 = 31 stealth
| Thorrpe |
oh then please make my perception for the room not the door
| DMummy |
Thorrpe is exceptionally pleased because his stealthy travels reveal a change in the dust pattern at the end of the hallway - there's clearly a pressure pad in front of the doors leading to the next section that will trigger some kind of trap.
You can try and trigger the trap safely or you can try and disable it. Did you bring your pole?
Dwalindor the Pahmet
|
Dwalindor has 2 reach weapons, if not a pole.
So Thorpe, what you finding in that pile of dust? It sure ain't looking like gold dust. Are you startin an ant farm?"
Dwalindor stays back until Thorpe calls him or gives the all clear.
| Thorrpe |
sadly thorrpes history did not let him trigger things from a distance
Thorrpe pulls out random doodads from his pouch, including a couple copper coins and he goes about jamming them into the area around the plate so it cannot go off.
1d20 + 16 ⇒ (3) + 16 = 19 Disable Device
if that didnt set it off 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (11) + 16 = 27 Disable Device
| DMummy |
Attack (Falling Damage): 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (1) + 15 = 16
Oh for heaven's sake. You got lucky.
Thorrpe's enthusiastic maneuvers seem like a terrible idea - and he hears a rumbling from above as over 2,000 pounds of debris starts to rain on the area in front of the door.
By some miracle Thorrpe manages to weave his in and out of the debris falling around him and gets out of the way - leaving you with a ton of rubble blocking the way further in.
You can move up to five times heavy load in 1 minute, or double that if you're using digging tools.
Dwalindor the Pahmet
|
"Only a crowbar and Amanda here ."
Not sure if an earthbraker counts .
Dwalindor does not hesitate to pull out his admantium earthbreaker and start moving earth and debris.
| Thorrpe |
Wait! I have an idea! Thorrpe runs back to the room with the hidden panel and then uses one of his scrolls of Open/Close
cause im an idiot and forgot it
1d20 + 9 ⇒ (13) + 9 = 22 UMD, spell goes off!

"Um yeah Shad. Help out ...or like ghost walk though the wall to the other side like to see what's beyond before we do all this diggin."
| Thorrpe |
