Omara Dalaston |

Omara will again try to deal with one of the skeletons attacking her. The one Ulf is not trying to hit.
Attack 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (19) + 5 = 24
Damage 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3
Ahh, the joys of being a Dex based combatant! Just you wait! I'm drinking my milk, and someday that attack is gonna hurt!

Lissa Tesarani |

The holy power gone from it, the hound will move to the skeleton facing Zaladrel and dive in to bite at it. Lissa turns and, reaching into the ether, pulls out a gout of acid to hurl at the skeleton her hound has turned to.
"Confn forth de wer Treskri di Edar batobot svabolen sho'vothic!"
Dog Bite Attack 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (16) + 3 = 19
Bite Damage 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4 (Don't even think that'll bypass its DR)
Lissa Acid Splash Attack 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3 vs. touch
(Yeah... or not...)

Úlfheðinn Sigmundarson |

Ulf scowls in displeasure at having missed the skeleton and shifts his grip on the hammer, twirling the head back to face the skeleton again and attempting to bring the vile creature down on the backswing.
Attack: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (19) + 6 = 25
Damage: 1d12 + 6 ⇒ (6) + 6 = 12

Runa |

I have just run across the template for a Winter Witch. It kinda fits what I was looking for when I developed Runa. Would it be possible to add this Archtype to Runa? It would not alter her too much (adding the ability of endure elements (cold) to her special abilities) The archtype is found in the book Inner Sea Magic)

Úlfheðinn Sigmundarson |

Ulf puts his hammer back in the carry harness, spitting on the pile of bones at his feet. "Bah. Foul thing. It is good to rid world of your taint." he says, then looks to his companions, folding his arms across his chest and waiting for them to be ready to move on.

Zaladrel Orain |

Well we seemed to have disturbed something but the ruin here is bare, what next?

DM Wellard |

Runa
The arms and armour of the skeletons are quite distinctive. The armour takes the form of a long sleeveless coat of hardened leather segments that falls to the knees. The leather segments seem to have at one time been painted in bright colours and are held together with strong cords.
The helmets are bucket like formed from boiled leather and have wide flaring neckguards that serve to protect the shoulders as well
The swords are longer than the usual short swords you are familiar with seemingly designed more for slashing and with a slighly curved blade that ends in a very distinctive point
Basically 4 broken sets of Do-Maru armour, 2 Kabuto helms and 4 wakizashi

Úlfheðinn Sigmundarson |

Úlf grunts and takes a knee on the soggy ground, looking at the armor for a few moments and then picking up one of the blades. "Strange-looking armor...and sword, too." he comments, looking around for a tree or shrub to test the blade's edge upon (that is, assuming the blades aren't rusty or otherwise looking dilapidated.)

Lissa Tesarani |

Lissa looks through the wreckage, trying to find anything of worth. She keeps a wary eye and an ear open for any sign of more skeletons (or any other dangers for that matter) trying to sneak up on the group while they recover from the battle.
Perception 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (13) + 1 = 14

DM Wellard |

Runa
The weapons are in relatively good condition nothing a skilled weaponsmith couldn't fix in a day or so..the armour is pretty much useless although the helms are in good condition
Ulf's test on a branch is spoiled by his clumsy use of the blade..perhaps his fighting style has made him less capable of fine strokes.it is an exotic weapon after all however the blades are still quite sharp given how long they must have had since being maintained.

Úlfheðinn Sigmundarson |

Úlf snorts after his test-swing against the tree branch, turning the weapon in his hand. "Is clumsy sword to swing..but still has good edge. Is not weapon for me, but maybe someone in Sandpoint would like blade such as this? Or perhaps Ameiko could tell us more about where this comes from? Either way, it seems we are not far from where undead come from." he says aloud to both himself and the party. Carefully, he wraps the blade in a strip of cloth stored in his backpack then stores it in the pack. He seems to hesitate for a moment, as if in thought, then reaches around his back to remove the lucerne hammer from its carry harness, deciding it is better to have the weapon ready should the party meet with another ambush.

Zaladrel Orain |

Well, shall we press on? Where does the map say we go next?

Úlfheðinn Sigmundarson |

Úlf huffs at the map, only now realizing their proximity to the cave. "If we are to continue to cave, we should hurry. Swamp is not sort of place we should be traveling through after night falls. We are ready to move on, yes? I hope everyone remembered torches!" he comments, himself removing a torch from his pack and securing it through an external loop for quick access when needed.

DM Wellard |

You set off across the mire and eventually reach the spot where the map says the cave should be.
A fifty-foot-high cliff rises along the marsh’s southern border, its face a thick tangle of jutting rocks and bright green vines and nettles. A curtain of these thick nettle vines partially conceals a cave opening at the base of the cliff.

Úlfheðinn Sigmundarson |

Úlf will approach the cave entrance and eye the thick vines hanging over the entrance before removing the dog slicer he took from one of the goblins the previous day from his pack and using it as a machete to cut away as many of the vines covering the cave entrance as he can.

Zaladrel Orain |

In anticipation of entering the cave Zaladrel will cast Light on his shield. Well I suppose this is why we came...let us see how many more of the dead are walking around hmm?

DM Wellard |

For this dungeon(Mini dungeon really) I'm not going to do a full map..indeed I'll be redoing the map to suit my mapping tools, nothing drastic just making the map fit the mapping engine and just doing combat maps.
You find yourselves looking into a narrow cave about 10 feet across that stretches ahead for about 20 feet and then bends of slightly to the left. There is a pool of stagnant water on the left hand side of the passage and it too seems to follow the curve.
To the right hand side of the cave you notice a secondary passage about 5 feet wide.

Úlfheðinn Sigmundarson |

Úlf looks back to the others after glancing into the cave to get an idea of the layout of the entrance. "Who will lead group? Zaladrel has the light, so it may be good idea for him to go first. I am willing to lead if it is wished by group, though."

Lissa Tesarani |

"Just a moment. I'll call Cinder." With that, Lissa begins the Ritual of Summoning. She draws the seal and begins the chant as she throws the various reagents into the circle. "Confn forth de wer amuul rionib treskriri; confn vur majak aso ekess jaciv svaust relgric wux! Si relgr acht wux Iqthilmar Bel'Shalor, wer valignatir adulese! Confn sari nomeno treskri vur origato shio vucot dout visage!" With a hiss like steam escaping, the saurian creature Lissa calls Cinder appears around her. The summoning circle is now scorched into the earth. Smoke rises from the creature's nostrils as it pulls out its mace.
"Ready."

Zaladrel Orain |

With my superior sight it makes sense to put me in lead, though it looks as though perhaps Ulf can walk beside me so I might have his aid if trouble approaches? Then perhaps Omara and Runa to follow and Cinder shall cap off our group?
Does Cinder actually glow or anything?

Úlfheðinn Sigmundarson |

Úlf nods to Zaladrel, then gestures to the small side passage that branches off of the main cave. "Do we explore side passage first? Or the main cave? If you wish to explore narrow way first, I will follow behind you...I think I still would be able to help if needed. My hammer is long enough to reach over you if it needs to."

Zaladrel Orain |

Zaladrel purses his lips for a moment then tilts his head to the narrow corridor and starts to walk.

DM Wellard |

Zaladrel Orain |

Attack, damage 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (15) + 1 = 161d8 ⇒ 8
Zaladrel advances forward, swinging his sword in the attack. [i] Just like traing Zaladrel[/]

Úlfheðinn Sigmundarson |

If possible, Úlf will move to maneuver around Zaladrel to come at the spider from a different angle, hoping to free up some space for the rest of the group while still getting in range of his lucerne hammer to bring the hammer down on the spider's back, hoping to make short work of the (literally) spineless creature.
Attack: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (17) + 6 = 23
Damage: 1d12 + 6 ⇒ (3) + 6 = 9

DM Wellard |

Zaladrel's sword bites deep,Ulf's Hammer crashes down and the spider reels under the blows.
It is heavily wounded but still able to retaliate and it turns it's fangs on Ulf sinking them deep into his arm..
Bite 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (19) + 2 = 21 Damage1d6 ⇒ 6
Ulf's save vs Poison1d20 + 5 ⇒ (16) + 5 = 21
Ulf easily fights off the pain from the poison

Zaladrel Orain |

Wow! That thing took a chunk. *waves fist at spider* Cinder, get it! Heh.
