Amadar Tra'Nes |

Round 2
His spell cast, Amadar rushes through the double doors and dives into the water to swim closer to the bell tower.
I believe he can swim 30' per round.
Erlmander
The elf shrugs at the rash act and fires another arrow at the tower as a suppression shot. "I assume he has a plan...

Borrum Orcbane |

Best I got is we are going to storm that guard tower and neutralize anything threatening we come upon. Be it by:
1) we somehow climb/fly to the top and work our way down
2) find a underwater tunnel that goes into the tower and work our way up
3) go through an existing door/ hole in the wall and then work our way up or down
4) some combination of the first three.

Amadar Tra'Nes |

Round 3
Amadar continues to swim closer to the bell tower.
Currently Amadar should be 190' from the tower.
Erlmander
The elf hops into the canoe with the dwarf grinnig at the Druid's rash dive into the water.

DM Greg |

it takes the party less then a minute to reach the Bell tower and less then an other minute to dispatch the remaining three sentry [please deduct a CLW]
From their vantage point at the top of the tower the party has a magnificent view of the lac and can see in the deeps the shadow of the sunken city. It is quite breathtaking
so what next heroes ?

Borrum Orcbane |

From our vantage point on the tower, can we see any place that may be a black dragon's lair? Or maybe the top of a large enough building in case the lair is underwater? Borrum has no knowledge of dragons or their lairs, so he is looking for a location large enough based on the dragons we have seen so far.

Amadar Tra'Nes |

And here I was going to Call Lightning them to death... ah well at least they are dead and we are not!
Amadar nods his head, "Yes, let us explore the town hall next. Though if we believe our foe is a Dragon it may be wise to rest before such a battle..."
Erlmander nods in agreement but seems willing to move forward as the group wishes.

Amadar Tra'Nes |

Amadar would likely agree with Erlmander here. We have struck a blow let's step back and then come again at full force with full rest as opposed to sleeping with one eye open in the Lizardmen village.

Galdamor Graak |

Galdamor will not go blinded in the elven village.
I'm still good to continue our research here. But our possibility to swim through water seems to pass in a few minutes. It will be dangerous to push our luck and I agree to get back to land.

DM Greg |

Technically they should be blindfolded in the last moment as to not know the secret passage taken to enter the correct path to the camp. After that they don't need since the heroes have been welcomed by the speaker. But that responsibility (to be blindfolded or not is erimander's choice

DM Greg |

Either way you will make it safely to the elven camp at a very late hour in the middle of the night. The presence of Amadar and erimander is enough to get you around safely and then entry into the village. You can talk with any NPC in the morning (if you wish) or resupply (according to what they have available) and then what after ?

DM Greg |

The party is invited early morning to meet with the skyspeaker, along with the master of ranger whom you have already meet.
One of the two person is instantly recognized by erimander and amadar. He had left the camp many years ago to venture out of the world
i have ask thèse two to attend this meeting, there help is offered for the upcoming fight should you want. says the skyspeaker.
good that Will allow me to attend back to my normal duties to our people says erimander

Galdamor Graak |

@Greg, can you desactivate your auto correct ? It transforms your word in their french version :P
You were a good comrade Erimander, farewell to you.
Says Galdamor to the elf. He turns to the Skyspeaker and the two newcomers and asks
I'm Galdamor Graak, follower of Hextor. And this is my right hand and friend Borrum Orcbane. Mira is our arcanist and is talented in getting in the mind of our ennemies. I think you already know Amadar who are with us since the death of one of comrade when we first come here.

Amadar Tra'Nes |

Amadar nods to the Ranger, "This is indeed a perilous undertaking and more help is certainly needed.
We have slain many ogres and hobgoblins but not yet secured the ruins that they inhabited as one of their clerics escaped and we could not rest there safely. We may well face stiffer resistance now that they are aware that someone is probing their defenses".

Tasar Leomaris |

The ranger looks at these new people, sizing them up. After a moment he nods. "The only good goblin is a dead one. 'Sides, they are too close to us to not do anything. Be glad to help clearing them out."
He sticks out a scarred and calloused hand. "Name's Tasar Leomaris."

Borrum Orcbane |

Borrum quickly explains the situation at the old ruins to the group.
"Greetin's Tasar Leomaris. Eyes Borrum Orcbane, buts Eye'm sure da Lady Skyspeaker haz informed youz ah me an meez friends. Weez not found dis dragon yet in da old ruins, but weez been rootin' out ogers and hobgobs fur ah good day. Also dem lizardfolk are all upidy an fantical about whoever is in charge. So weez need ta knock some sense in ta dat one too."

Tasar Leomaris |

Tasar puts his hand down and rubs it on his leg. "Sounds dire. Should hit the goblins first if the lizardfolk are dug in like ticks."
He pauses for a second and furrows his brow. "Did you say dragon? We're hunting a dragon?" Tasar smiles, showing his gap-toothed smile. "Fun."

Amadar Tra'Nes |

"I think we should go back to the sunken ruins and secure it as a place to explore the rest of the area. There will be more goblins and hobgoblins to slay I have no doubt. Anyone disagree?"

Galdamor Graak |

I agree too. We must secure the area to be able to continue to root out of the swamp the main force of the Red Hand army.
As for the Dragon, it seems different from the first we encounter, more devilish.
But I have no idea if its common for dragons to be different. Either way if I remember correctly he spits acid. Be prepared.

DM Greg |

June 25th
The party has no problem getting back to the Sunken city of Rhest It takes them the better part of the day to reach it shores. Fortunately the trip is quiet thks to the guidance of the ranger
The shores of the city is quiet and you find the paddle boat in the safe place you left them
So you are back and what is the plan now ?

Borrum Orcbane |

"Can any ah yous Elves see if dare is any guards back in da tower?"
He pauses for a few seconds to give the others a chance to look and comment.
"Are weez gonna use dat water breathin' spell again?"

Erdwin Rynwill |

A crooked smiling half elf appears at the edge of the sunken ruins. He keeps his distance from the party.
Just where ol' Skyspeaker said they would be. I'd better not sneak up- more likely to get stabbed.
After a bit.
I guess I'll need to make contact...
Nervous but confident.
"You all wouldn't happen to be the brave dragon seekers that Skyspear sent me to find would you?"

Borrum Orcbane |

Borrum scrathes his head at the question trying to figure out the odds of another group of a dwarf, human and elves in the area would be, especially when this elf just saw them this morning.
"Well weez could be dem. Who might yous be? Yous didn't seem talkative dis mornin'"

Erdwin Rynwill |

Erdwin a little embarrassed says,
"I really wasn't paying attention this morning. The silence was me meditating, which became sleep. By the time I was conscious, all the talking was finished everyone was gone and all I had was a rough memory of a group and the distinct memory of a dragon.
Skyspeaker filled in the details and I set out.
I see I found the right group."

Amadar Tra'Nes |

Amadar nods to Erdwin, "You certainly have.
Borrum we used that trick once and it certainly seemed to work, I would agree it makes sense to do so again, get in the boat and cross the lake. Daylight wastes".
Amadar casts Water Breathing and bestows it upon all of his allies.

Tasar Leomaris |

"Erdwin, good to see you! Took you long enough from your nap to get here."
Tasar looks over the side of the boat after the spell is cast on him. "Oh boy. I never learned to swim. Are you sure this will work?"
