When Joliryn spots Arminaldi she lofts an eyebrow, wondering what he is doing here. But when Zurnzal indicates who is really is surreptitiously, she scowls... and makes mental note of the subterfuge. [b]Those are Arminaldi's actual clothes, so there's little chance he's still alive. Someone is out a valuable, if recalcitrant, spy. Too bad.[/i] She says nothing to Zurnzal except giving him a little nod of recognition after wiping the scowl from her face.

Under cover of her conjured darkness, 322 plants the device on the statue's ankle. Once installed, a sentence in Aklo appears on its surface: “The Stars command you, Durvin Gest.”
322 commits the words to memory and says softly to herself, "But not just yet." The music she hums changes in quality to that of a funeral dirge as she traces the cool weight of an item in her pocket. As the speech is about to begin, she begins to slip her way to Skyreach, taking advantage of her shadowy cloak again. She keeps her eyes open for the others of her group and the elusive Master of Scrolls.

Moving under the cover of the festival's keystone event, the party enters Skyreach unmolested and quickly reaches the entrance to the tower's lower levels.
The basements descend into subbasements beneath Skyreach, in turn spiraling out like hollow roots to cryptic galleries hidden where few Pathfinders tread. Here the Society stores countless artifacts, magic items, priceless works of art, and unique texts.

After a little searching the party finds the entrance to the vault containing the Hao Jin Tapestry. Shohiraj approaches the door with her stolen key in hand only to stop when she detects the presence of a trap.

Shohiraj skillfully disables the magical runes allowing her to use the stolen key safely.
Moving on, the party enters the first vault.
Rows of low shelves laden with scrolls, books, and the odd relic line this well-lit hall. At its far end stands a small fountain that emits a small amount of steam — enough to keep this dry room’s humidity constant. Six decorative columns, each one densely carved with animal imagery and fanciful whorls, stand along the walls, and a pair of lounging lizard statues rest on a dais at the north end of the room.

322 thinks carefully about her options and concentrates as she prepares to cast on the large lizard.
