Filbert Springbit
Luxina, what's your hp total, only showing 36 on the map, GM, I updated Filberts to show NL and Force Ward
Startled momentarily as one second the view ahead was clear and then one of the assassins is now stabbing Luxina. Aiming a blast at the creature Filbert tries something different with it.
Burn modifications - Bowling Infusion +2, gather power -1, infusion specialization -1 = total burn 0
Kinetic Blast(Bowling infusion): 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (13) + 9 = 22
Damage: 3d6 + 8 ⇒ (1, 6, 2) + 8 = 17
If Tilsitari is damaged attempt to trip
trip: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (17) + 4 = 21
DM Fang Dragon
Looks like I missed the extra HP from Luxina's level up. I've adjusted the map.
Heinrich Cornelius Agrippa
Agrippa gets closer to the assassin. 5' step
He studies his opponent, preparing to strike. Studied Combat Tilistari
He attempts to drive Red Destiny into her heart
Red Destiny: 1d20 + 6 + 1 ⇒ (20) + 6 + 1 = 27 +2 more if shes part of the Hastur cult
Confirm!: 1d20 + 6 + 1 ⇒ (16) + 6 + 1 = 23
Damage: 2d6 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (1, 1) + 2 + 2 = 6 +4 more if shes part of the Hastur Cult
Luxina Tenebris
Luxina screams out in pain twice as the assassin's blades find home inside her body.
She slowly takes a 5-foot step away then mixes up a batch of chemicals and throws it in the assassin's face.
"Damn you!! Catch this!"
Ranged Touch, Bomb, PBS: 1d20 + 7 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 7 + 1 = 103d6 + 3 + 1 ⇒ (3, 5, 1) + 3 + 1 = 13
Well that's a miss.
Where does it land?: 1d8 ⇒ 4
Should land north of Lizzie, so she and the assassin take 6 damage and need to make a reflex save DC 15 for half. Luxina would obviously exempt Lizzie's square out of the bomb's radius, not sure if that still applies on a miss though.
Totally forgot to pick a Feat. Any suggestions?
DM Fang Dragon
Lizzie moves into flanking position and her mace smashed into the assassin with a meaty thump. Tilsitari hissed with pain!
Luxina feeling from this attack rapidly brews a batch of unstable chemicals and throws them towards Tilsitari, but the pain in her sides causes her to miss. The bomb explodes with a deafening retort but somehow Tilsitari is unscathed!
Tilsitari Reflex with evasion: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (11) + 10 = 21 <--- PASS
Lizzie the text of Precise Bombs makes no mention of hitting or missing so I'm ruling Luxina can still exclude a square.
Heinrich having studied his target, steps into attack, plunging Red Destiny up to the hilt into the Hastur sworn assassin! Tilsitari yelps and then growls, looking daggers at the investigator!
Momijii seems stunned at the sudden vicious combat!
At that moment, Filbert aims a tremendous blast at Tilsitari, smashing into her midriff. It was only by some miracle she didn't fall over, but with silvery blood flowing freely down her flank surely she can't withstand this punishment for long?
Since its the weekend I'll give Momijii a bit longer to post her round 1 action.
Momijii
With the sudden start of the fight Momijii watched for her opening as she adopted her stance and then, when the enemy was distracted, stepped in and attacked twice in quick succession. Her first strike containted all the furry she could muster, enough to break through the most resistant object. The followup exploited this and struck out firmly at her target's stomach.
unarmed w/ ds/shattering blow: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (11) + 10 = 211d8 + 7 ⇒ (8) + 7 = 15
flurry: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (16) + 10 = 261d8 + 5 ⇒ (8) + 5 = 13
DM Fang Dragon
Almost disdainfully Momijii unleashed her full fury on the assassin, splintering bone and finally snapping Tilsitari's neck with audible pop! Her silvery skin suddenly is lines with a complex lattice of fractures and cracks and then her explodes into jagged glass shards that pepper everything in the room! Poor Luxina was particularly badly hurt with a large jagged shard of glass sticking out of her chest.
Damage: 2d6 ⇒ (3, 3) = 6
Filbert Reflex DC 12: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (13) + 8 = 21 <--- PASS
Heinrich Reflex DC 12: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (13) + 6 = 19 <--- PASS
Lizzie Reflex DC 12: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (8) + 5 = 13 <--- PASS
Luxina Reflex DC 12: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (3) + 8 = 11 <--- FAIL
Momijii Reflex DC 12: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (19) + 6 = 25 <--- PASS
Filbert if I understand your ability right it absorbs the damage.
COMBAT OVER
Winter Klaczka
Hearing combat, Winter rushes upstairs and is shocked by the scene crying, "What the..."
She looks around to see bits of glass everywhere, peppering furniture, the floor, the walls, and poor Luxina. Eyeing the arterial blood flowing from Luxina, she whispers, "Oh my, I'd better pray for you..."
OK you can assume your wounds are healed by Winter, what now?
Filbert Springbit
Filbert would loose some temp HP off of the force ward if the save was for half dam, it restores itself at 2hp/min, but for any secondary effects that might happen from the damage so long as no actual health from Filbert is damaged then it is essentially a miss.
"Well that one down, where's the blond?"
Heinrich Cornelius Agrippa
Nice damage rolls Momiji. @GM Precise Bombs says if the bomb misses the discovery has no effect...
I don't know, but she could prove dangerous. Less so now that she has no backup.
Mistress Klazcka. The Cult of Hastur has taken to the streets, in the open. You aren't safe alone here. Cesadia could use your help at he Agency.
DM Fang Dragon
Ha yes you are right Agrippa. It seems I only read the first sentence :( I'll get a proper update later.
Filbert Springbit
"Seems that the old countess is still around and causing trouble." Filbert grumbles while watching for the other assassin.
Perception: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (18) + 11 = 29
Heinrich Cornelius Agrippa
Indeed. Our weapons could not pierce the magical protections her new form afforded her. Only power magics aligned to the planes of Law could do it.
Lux I'm positive the GM said we didn't have to heal ourselves that Winter did it.
Filbert Springbit
Don't suppose that works on Filbert's blast does it?
Filbert continues to keep watch while Agrippa and Winter discuss the cult's goings on and the shadow walking countess. After a bit...
"So are we making the other stop or escorting Winter here back to the Sleepless Agency"
GM, I'm thinking Filbert doesn't know about the psychosis until the next time he's presented with it. Correct?
I'm paying attention to the games but currently out of town traveling for work, so most of my posting will be by phone
DM Fang Dragon
The three of you are going to have a recurring dream / nightmare. It will have no gameplay effect unless a tentacled horror appears...
Re blasts, are they usually regarded as a weapon in the way ray spells are? If so it would seem reasonable for the scrolls to apply.
Momijii
Momijii was relieved that the mirror walking assassin was finally dead. The mention of the ghostly countess drew a shudder from Momijii as she said, "The ghost drains the personality from you when she touches you. I could feel myself lessened when she touched me. I could hurt her badly but not if she can drain me like that."
Blasts are a weapon type, you can take weapon focus blast, they benefit from point blank/precise/etc, not sure if you can cast a spell on them though.
Heinrich Cornelius Agrippa
Indeed. Agrippa says with a frown.
These scrolls could prove invaluable. Lady Klazcka, might you come with us to Pier 19 before we walk with you to meet with Cesadia. There's something at the Pier we wish to see.
If so, lets move there.
Momijii
It's not that they aren't weapons but they aren't the kind a spell could be cast on. I tend to agree with Lizzie. That being said aetherkineticist can do some different stuff than the others and while the blast may not have a spell on it the object it is focused around could and if you let it take damage too it's properties can apply to the attack.
Filbert Springbit
An object used that way would need to take the damage of the blast in addition to the creature being attacked best I can remember. So would need to be a very sturdy item. Perhaps I should locate a statue of Themis, or Pathfinders version of the greek goddess and drop it on the old hag, that's bound to be considered lawful.
Momijii
Yeah, I know, but figured I'd throw it out there. That's why I like the concept of poison vials as the ammo.
DM Fang Dragon
Sorry for the wait, I've come down with a fever and don't have the energy to create a new battlemap tonight. I'll try and get this done tomorrow.
DM Fang Dragon
The trip is mostly uneventful apart from getting drenched, again. Of the blonde assassin there is no sign. Within ten minutes you are walking up the gravel path leadin from the road to the pier. A nearly
collapsed shack sits at the edge of the water near the pier, a former bait house that was abandoned after the unfortunate events.
The is no sign of life as the driving rain pounds onto the decrepit dock’s boards, with a sound like a score of out-of-sync drummers. Gentle waves lap against the barnacle-studded posts that hold up the sagging dock. A metal pail sits rusting at the end of the pier.
Filbert Springbit
Sorry all, training and travel conspired to turn my brain to mush the past couple of days
As miserable as the day feels between the rain, the assassination attempts, and the lovely dream come to life, Filbert offers to walk first out onto the pier as he is easily the lightest in the group. Or at least while Lizzie wears her armor....
"I'll go first. Do you remember where it's hidden?"
If no good answer Filbert makes his way to the far end figuring something
hidden below the pier would be harder to see there, both from shore and from the larger boats that would by necessity dock there.
Perception: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (11) + 11 = 22
Reaching the far end, kneeling down he looks below, "W-what's t-that, n-n-n-n-no!" Feeling that whatever was below was related to his midnight visitor Filbert scrambles backwards from the end of the pier. "Beware!"
DM Fang Dragon
To filbert's horror, something nearly as disturbing as the thing stalking his dreams, drags it's bulk up onto the pier (which groans under the weight)! It turns out to be a horrid mass of eyes, mouths, and formless flesh which stares in all directions. Its countless maws yammer ceaselessly, the cacophony of which threatens to buckle your tenuous link on sanity!

I'm not entirely clear if this counts as a tentacled horror, certainly it's fully repulsive but somehow seems distinct - more toothy.
Heinrich Cornelius Agrippa
Kn:Dungeon: 1d20 + 7 + 1d6 ⇒ (13) + 7 + (5) = 25
Agrippa walks alongside Winter and fills her in with their mission into the Fort, the attack on the Sleepless Agency and what may lie in Iris Hill.
He spots the creature, and he knows what he faces.
DON'T LET IT GET CLOSE! he shouts in terror.
Filbert Springbit
"Thanks, I wasn't planning to!" Filbert calls back before trying to send the creature back into the water.
Kinetic Blast: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (2) + 9 = 11

Then backs up another 20' away from the creature.
Luxina Tenebris
Luxina moves up to just behind Lizzie, grabbing her crossow.
"Filbert! Duck!!"
And then aims and fires her crossbow at the thing.
Single Bolt crossbow: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (10) + 7 = 171d8 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3
DM Fang Dragon
Luxina's crossbow cracks, the bolt hits the hideous thing, but it doesn't appear to do any damage.
Filbert sends a powerful blast, one that he could barely control which careened into the sky.
Brave brave Sir Lizzie panics a little as she moves closer. but moves closer she does...
Winter chants a prayer and a ripple of energy washes over the battlefield! The energy shatters upon hitting the Gibbering Mouther.

Agrippa babbles incoherently, you think you hear him say something about as scroll.
Momijii
Momijii saw the freakish thing and heard the cacophony of noise, then she felt her mind snap as insanity took over.
What do I do?: 1d100 ⇒ 93 Attacks the closest person!
Ruhroh, someone may be hurting. As a question do I adopt my combat stance for this attack? It has been a part of every fights she's been in right from the get go but I'm hoping the insanity prevents that because it's going to hurt someone more if I do. It does need a swift action, your ruling?
High Heinrich! How ya doin?
unarmed strike: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (8) + 10 = 181d8 + 4 ⇒ (7) + 4 = 11
If dragon style does activate add 3 pts of damage.
Luxina Tenebris
Confusion: 1d100 ⇒ 21
Luxina shakes her head as her Will seems sapped for a moment, but then shakes it off of her.
She moves up somewhat besides Filbert, mixes up a batch of chemicals and lobs it at the disgusting aberration before her.
Bomb, Ranged Touch, PBS: 1d20 + 7 + 1 ⇒ (20) + 7 + 1 = 283d6 + 3 + 1 ⇒ (3, 6, 4) + 3 + 1 = 17

Lizzie "beads" Tamar
Luxina's arrow points up there, and with Lizzie's somewhat impulsive and protective nature, she wants to have her friends be as safe as possible, not leaving them alone in the face of danger.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Edit:
Filbert, get your ass out of there. :)
DM Fang Dragon
Heinrich succumbs to the ungodly racket and he starts babbling. Worse, Momijii's addled mind causes her to lash out at the nearest thing in reach: Heinrich!
Unfortunately I think that does apply here Momijii. Luckily Heinrich had false life up.
Luxina was bothered by the cacophony too, but gritting her teeth she manages to retain control of her faculties. She throws a bomb which lands dead center within the gibbering morass, it gets sucked inside noisily before exploding with a powerful retort, sending gore flying everywhere!
Filbert gathers and coils power before unleashing it in a ragged blast which punches a hole though the monster! It's shields won't last much longer under blasts of that magnitude!
Lizzie moves to Luxina's side and watches the destruction mouth agog!
Winter walks forwards and whispers a prayer to the Lady of Graves. In response, Heinrich's wounds vanish and the strands of fate conspire to hasten the demise of this fowl monster!
Channel Energy: 3d6 ⇒ (6, 3, 5) = 14
next round you all get to re-roll a d20 roll of your choice.
A thin stream of acidic spittle arcs from the gibbering mother to splatter disgustingly all over Luxina's face. It gums up her eyes and suddenly she can't see!

With the effects of the insanity worn off Momijii gave Heinrich a quick bow, "Sorry," Then turned and charged into the fray. She made a direct line, shoving right through Luxina like she wasn't there, as her fist caught on fire and lashed out with a single fist at the freaking blob attacking them.

A grappled character who attempts to cast a spell or use a spell-like ability must make a concentration check (DC 10 + grappler’s CMB + spell level), or lose the spell. Grappled creatures cannot make attacks of opportunity. Looks like you need to make a concentration check while grappled.
Heinrich starts to chew something disgusting and sticky...
