The lizardfolk warriors whirl then release their corded weapons...
One grits its teeth from the grazing arrow wound as the grappling hook-like projectiles fly toward Syndlara and Truk'tosh.

They both miss and begin to reel the projectiles back in...
The one aiming for Truk'tosh has a little trouble. His projectile is slightly hung up on a rock.

Piendy is within the far cave, and you can faintly hear him continuing his tantrum.

Gatherine saw the familiar shadow and its owner,head jerking up and stamping her feet in anxious excitement.


The creature dives and plunges into the water between the butte and yourselves.... it does not resurface.

Truk you may take an action... you quickly realize the thing is apparently not attacking


Female Dwarf Gunslinger 5(Pistolero)

Aiiiieeee! Kill everything with scales on it!

The dwarf maid flew into a fullblown tantrum born of fear and frustration,firing Twinbellows in a blast of roiling gunsmoke,sparks,and thunder.

A hole tore itself into scaled flesh from her quick shot.She hollered at the top of her voice.Twinbellows! Reload!she ordered the bandoleer,then to the others.When it comes back up,watch yourselves! It'll try to snatch you up and kill you!


The shot finishes off the lizardfolk as he was reeling in his corded weapon.
The other nearly has his weapon free from where it is caught on the rocky ledge.
The lifeless corpse of the dead lizardfolk tumbles down the falls.

The body surfaces, and rides the slowing current.
A moment later it is dragged down underwater from clawed scaly hands underneath.

Syndlara leaps into the water, nearly falling over in the fast current--as it is, she is dragged downstream a little, but she is able to close with the remaining lizardman and slash at him with her scimitar.

Assuming I read what you wrote earlier correctly, Bloodgargler, Syn's move ending at C15 should drag her down to D15 or E15 given her Acrobatics roll.


Garborn:
These notorious predators have an undeniable thirst for blood. Chupacabras prefer to prey upon the weak and slow, often watching potential prey from hiding for long periods before attacking.

With a preference for lone travelers and farm animals (particularly goats), chupacabras leave little evidence of their presence apart from the grisly blood-drained husks of their meals, often leading locals to believe a reckless vampire lives in the area.

A typical chupacabra measures nearly 5-1/2 feet from muzzle to tail tip and stands just under 4 feet tall. Slightly built and light of bone, most weigh close to a hundred pounds.

Some chupacabras are mutants with large reptilian wings, and have been known to carry off more than goats and children.

Gatherine stopped cold,eyes big and mouth hanging open.Then she exploded in excitement,flailing her pistol.I KNEW it. I knew chupacabras were real. No one believed me. When we kill it,Imma make a trophy out of it.

I am a litle confused, cant find the last map. I thought there was an enemy at the shore with Syndlara in the north of the map, is he dead already? If he is not thats the one I attack. Ortherwise I will ready the attk to hit the first enemy to come near me.

Mugambi punches the lizard-man attacking Syndlara connecting his cestus with the monster's jaw.

Iolana too, she won't risk firing with an ally in melee...not that she cares if Syndlara gets hurt, she doesn't want to waste arrows :P


With Syndlara right next to him, the lizardfolk warrior in the water drops the cord to his thrown weapon, bites and claws at her.

The elven sword-dancer dances out of reach of the lizardman's claws and teeth, her legs creating large splashes in the river as she moves. Going on the offensive, she slashes at the lizardman's side, her blade leaving another trail of blade in its wake.

The lizardfolk warrior tumbles down the falls... it floats on the slower current below, but is not immediately snatched like the other.

Piendy emerges from the far cave, and flies over.
"All done. Punished half to death twice." He looks over at the rest of the group, clears his sinuses with a snort, and waves.
"Hello me new mates. I Piendy am your captain now."


Female Elf Bard (Dervish Dancer) 4/Fighter 1

As the lizardman falls, Syndlara begins wading her way back to the near shore. Soaking wet, she resheathes her scimitar and wrings out her hair. She glances at Piendy, then her companions. Wordlessly, she arches an eyebrow.

Piendy mimics Syndlara's arced eyebrow, and says after Truk's question,
"I now have a ship so that makes me captain. It... is just on the wong side of the water now." He points to the water just past the butte, and snorts as his nose runs... as it does by the end of each sentence.

"Not s'posed to use the doohickey thing, so we need to find some udder way."

....Hello?! Monster hiding under the water.Killed Averin.Gatherine pointed her pistol at the water where the chupacabra dove in and submerged itself.

Piendy cringes when Gatherine fires the shot "Don't woory, he just pick you off when you're weak and bleedin."
"Don't think he can even see underwater... just smells blood."

You then hear thrashing in the water... further out to sea. It is difficult to see at first through the splashes of the conflict.
Then you see the second lizardfolk body get tugged under, and a shark turn belly up and bleeding in the water.

Piendy turns back after watching. "That ritual thing that makes the water go down. Our numba one *snort* number one job from the lady Ieana is to keep people from touchin it."

"Good to see you, Gar born. I found your robe on the beach and not you. I keep it in the ship."

The shark body then gets tugged underwater.

Piendy eyes Truk. "You... are the enemy? The mutinous dogs? Its from you we are to protect the stones, but how can we when it's us Bwaahhhh! Confwicted towmented! *snort* trapped into thinking things harder than math... I tink I should go."
He starts to fly out to the water.

Iolana put away the bow and pills out the sword from the ground, then sheates it.
"Yes Truk, Ieana is her.And i'm interested in this ship as well, where are you going Piendy?"

To Gatherine
"I would like to kill that chupa...thing too, especially since i don't feel safe with it around while we are trying to work our way out of this rock."

She eyed the waters stubbornly for any sign of the chupacabra.As an afterthought,she loaded Sneezy Dragon with an alchemical cartridge to deal with it.

"..an yer too heavy to car-wy *snort* carry so don't even ask."

How much water are we talking? Is the stream we're at now?


yeah.. the thing at P-Q,13-14 is the standing stones + pyramid thing.
The butte is about 15' from the nearest cliff (around P-Q,7), and the surface of the butte is at the same height as the cliff.
