Hey everyone! BigBenClockTower here (call me Ben though, please)!
I'm putting finishing touches on my latest Campaign, taking place in a fictional world called Iteria.
I was wondering what takers I'd have, and if anyone else would be interested in this. It'd be a Flavor / RP heavy story, so there will be less an emphasis on Combat (although some will likely happen).
As far as intended posting goes, everyone can mostly post on their own terms so long as they post on a regular basis (multiple times daily is best, but hopefully my players are flexible). Post with reason, such as when addressed, and firmly in character (use the [ooc] tags if you must speak out of character, and shield it with [spoiler] tags or parenthesis).
From time to time (once a week preferred, but this is flexible too), we'll all meet for some collaborative TitanPad + Skype posts, where we basically RP live with each other, and then compile our posts before placing them into the thread. If Combat is encountered, we can boot up a Virtual Tabletop, or I can bust out some saved maps I have for us to use, again, all this flexible.
As far as I can reveal for the overall story, it's going to be set in the simple world I made (Iteria), primarily on a single continent in this world (to start) that houses five nations in the midst of what is essentially a cold war. The players would be part of a guild based in one of the nations (player choice of home base), and would receive missions from their higher ups (maybe eventually striking out on their own). There'd probably be some kind of contract board as well for miscellaneous missions for extra lore and filler content if say, some of us need to vanish for a week or so.
As far as allowed content, for our ease of use, anything on the d20pfsrd site is welcome, but needs to be run by me if it is 3rd Party material. Guns are Emerging, but still rather Rare. I'll say this once, but 3.5 content will not be allowed for this Campaign. Memorizing the d20pfsrd site was enough of a headache for me, so I don't need to memorize 3.5 all over again. :P
Each character gets a 20 Point Buy and 2 Traits of their choice. There are no Hero Points, and EXP / Wealth will be awarded by events and accomplishments, instead of per encounter and character level. All characters start at Level 5, and have 10500 in Gold to spend as they see fit. Coins weigh nothing, and there are no weight, height, or age restrictions, so don't worry about those for your characters. Those of you who want young characters, don't bother with templates and specialty rules. Stat them as normal.
Alignment isn't an issue here either, but will be enforced slightly. Characters should act as closely to their regarded alignment as possible while remaining a character. Don't be exact on wording with Alignments, but use them as a guide to behavior. Yes, you may run an Evil Alignment provided you talk it over with me first (no "Rawrimmadestroyall" Chaotic Evil, but other forms of Chaotic Evil may lead to some great RP opportunity, so it's case by case).
Ideally, prior (possibly seasoned) knowledge of the Pathfinder System would be a plus here, but new players are welcomed as well, as we'll all be friendly. That's right. No jerks in my Campaigns. Period.
So with all this said, I hope I covered all angles. Any takers? Anyone interested in participating? I'll probably GM it, but if we want to all take turns, that could be awesome too. Let me know what y'all think and if you're interested! We can always work things out to make it more suitable for us all.

EDIT: For your character sheets, go ahead and throw them on Myth-Weavers or make a PDF of your favorite character sheet. I'll also accept ".por" from Hero Lab files (the preferred option, but do it your way).

Glad it interested you guys! I figure if we can nab at least one or two more, we can get started, and I'll open a Discussion topic with some detailed information on the setting among other things, as well as field questions more detailed (and we can all share contact information and local timezone for Skype / Pad / Virtual Tabletop stuff).

Hmm, color me interested. I can't guarantee 100% availability for all the Skype sessions, if that would be a problem (accursed nonstandard work shifts!). But I'd definitely be game if you have the space.
I'm not just interested, I'm eager. I've both played and been the DM for a lot of tabletop campaigns, including pathfinder, but I recently changed countries so skype and play-by-post have suddenly become a lot more attractive.
Potential problems? This would be my first play by post, although I'm eager to get into the swing of things. If that's not a problem I'd love to be considered, or at least get more information on the setting. If it is, I won't be offended - I'm sure there will be other games, but this one does sound like my kind of thing.
My job is flexible enough that I could generally update several times a day if that was desired, and the idea of the occasional skype session sounds good too. I've wanted to play an alchemist in pathfinder for a while, and have a few character ideas rolled up.
So if any of that sounds viable, please let me know and I'll happily post what I've got so far.

This is the beginning of the Dwarf Barbarian I mentioned. Much of the crunch done now, just need to figure out how to spend that gold. ;)
Edit: He's pretty much finished with crunch now. At most a few minor tweaks before gameplay, assuming he even gets in. ^_^ I've been itching to get into a good campaign with Harland. :3

I wanted to make sure since I have seen people post that and still only want Core Races.
*trundles in* I have recently developed a hankering for a specific character concept, and here I find somebody who allows both evil and young characters. Clearly a sign!
My idea is to play a Gravewalker Witch who is a little girl possessed by her spell poppet, her creepy little doll. The doll itself would be the character. I'd use a small-sized Daemon-Spawn Tiefling to represent the possessed young girl if that's okay. (There's a sidebar for small-sized Tieflings.) It'd be a NE character dealing in undead if that's all right.
Anyways, don't worry, I've never been interested in playing Stupid Evil. The doll is not interested in losing its host, after all. If any inter-party conflict arises, it will be handled in a non-violent manner.

Well, looks like Aasimar does it a little better, since they've got the Scion of Humanity option. Is this still happening, by the way? The OP has been gone two weeks or so.
Wow, I put this up, then decide that I'd enjoy my holidays and suffer a cold (with my Grandma going to the hospital to boot, what an eventful Christmas), come back now recovered, and find a zillion posts!
You guys are awesome! As far as player count, I can reasonably accommodate six or seven.
So, from what I see, as far as concepts go: Half-Orc Alchemist, Dwarf Barbarian, Human Oracle, Aasimar Paladin, Human Wizard, an Undecided Race with Undecided Class Levels that will go into the Souleater Prestige Class and a potential Aasimar Witch (Gravewalker Archetype).
Altogether, that makes for seven interested who have made characters. Within my bracket for sure, and I'm quite certain you'll all be in. This way, with seven as well, we can get away with one or two of us not showing up or being unable to post for a few weeks if life happens.
Sorry for the weeks absence, but holidays hit, and all sorts of medical whats its happened. As far as technical issues go, I'll send out private messages to cover them, and add the information to the original post. Looking forward to this, let me know if anything changes on your end.
I will be adding you all to my contacts, so I can keep in touch as needed.

Someone asked about HP:
First Hit Die for your class is a free max (i.e. d8 means you get 8 for your first class level). Every additional Hit Die is rolled as normal, with a single reroll allowed IF you wish. However, you must take the second result (better or worse) if you choose to reroll.

When I tossed Piroska together I simply put average hp together with each level. I'll go fix up that bit of her sheet once I get access to my main computer.
Also, do you want backstories scribbled up with characters? I can jot something down if you desire.

I don't have all the crunch done but I have most of it. HP, Gear, And attack stuff I think is the only things left. But here she is. When I get home I can build her on Hero Lab.

Whoa! I should make an update here.
I have this currently on hold as I wrap up an actual tabletop session with the Beginner Box, teaching some new players.
As it eats much of my planning time (I want them to have fun), I could not run two Campaigns at once.
However! When they finish the Campaign, and are ready to graduate to the Main Rules, I'll start them on this same Campaign, and get it underway.
That is the current update.

*Sets off fireworks.* Two months since he set up the thread! I'm starting too think he just set this up too see how many people he could troll and for how long.
For those of you still present, I finished GMing a Campaign for a group of interested new players.
I'm proud to say three of the four are now invested and want to do another Campaign. So I'll be running this Campaign tabletop for them.
However, that being said, that means I'm running this Campaign now. So I'll be starting it by week's end. For those of you still present, get your characters ready; I'll start putting up some information and starting posts over the next few days to get us rolling.
For those of you seeing this topic for the first time, provided I have not reached my limit of six characters, I'll gladly take more, by guidelines setup in the first original post I made. Perhaps I can also start a second "table" on this site for extras.
