Just had a bit of fun putting together most of the big 2 year celebratory missives. You'll each be getting a couple of wooden dice, a repurposed container, a portion of something my father bought at a paedophile's garage sale (cooler than it sounds... trust me), a rejuvenating local remedy and an item handmade by my brother in Australia. So I may have gone a little overboard... but it's fun... so there.
I'm still waiting on the last piece of the puzzle (and may be for a wee while yet) but in order to expedite fulfillment - it would be greatly appreciated if you can PM me your snail mail address :)
So far only two of five have furnished me with addresses... no-one else wants presents? ... or maybe no-one likes me? *sniff, sniff*

Sorry Dibbs - kept slipping my mind... we've just sold our dream hus (LONG story of a reluctant sale but upshot is we're moving to a cottage near my mother-in-law, but will ultimately be mortgage free and with a new open plan extension to boot) - every cloud and all that :)

Quite the contrary Dibbs, at the top of the country track where we'll live is a whole herd of about a dozen + little uns o' the shaggy coo variety lol.
We're actually moving more into the country in the shadow of the Cairngorm Mountain range - all good.

I shall be visiting the UK at some point in the next few years to take in the castles and wade through history... and there's always a scant hope that I'll get a trip through work somehow. If I'm anywhere near you can be sure summat will be arranged. Same goes for stateside if I get a Houston trip.
Being a non-drinker I'll have to sub in Irn Bru for the whiskey though ;)

Ah, the old detect magic vs invisibility...
My take is that non-summoned magic creatures are not detected. magic items on a creature are under the veil of the illusion spell.
i'll allow that an invisibility spell would detect as a faint illusion spell after three rounds of concentration. one or two rounds if there aren't any other magic auras around.
Pack-goats sound like a fabulous idea, assuming you can get the less ornery ones ;)

Well force enough Will saves and even the best of us will start failing them eventually... I'm a bit concerned that we've seemingly no recourse against the repeated repeated fear effects though... looks like we're proper fecked.
Cap'n - do these blighters have a different set of rules on the fear effects from usual? - in PF fear usually makes you get panicked and flee rather than turn catatonic and cower in place. And no chance of rerolls by 'fighting the effect' or from the manhandling?

Dibbs- these beasties didn't make the jump to PF i don't think. i'm using the 3.5 version, but honestly unless given a significant amount of alone time with you, they won't do any significant physical damage anyway...
take heart, there is a duration to the paralysis though a bit longer than ghouls paralysis.

Yep, I'll be around (if the whole place ain't burned down by then. Two major fires, one to the east, the other to the wst, so whichever way the wind blows we get hit with some smoke. You just missed an allday concert for the Cowgirl's 20th birthday this weekend, but there should be some kind of music and beer that we can find.
I was not aware of ZoukFest, and now that I know, I am disappointed it is cancelled. But Taos is hosting Mumford and Sons in Kit Carson park this upcoming weekend and they are shutting the whole town down. Not sure it has anything to do with that, but it would have been unfortunate if they had to cancel for that reason. But getting in and out of Taos is going to be a mess.
