It may well take me the weekend to think this one over, since based on previous experiences I foresee it being potentially awkward to find something for everyone to be doing and finishing with the party meeting up again at the same time and place if you split up now.
Unless you don't mind the alternative of one poster getting most/all the attention? (:-? emoticon inserted here.)

My basic plan was to have a quick look about the inn where Aumbril may be, if there as him to come with me as there is a serious situation arising. If unable to find him go to my room at the other inn and bring my gear back so that we are then together again.
If you think this would not be straight forward, I could simply write a note and pay for one of the serving girls to go get my equipment. I am expecting that Seebo will have to rest so that his spell list is restored once he has preyed / meditated the following morning, and I will then be able to apply my rise in level for my first level of sorcerer as well. As a group we will then be able to travel together again in a prepared way for the next days activities.

If this is the plan, do you mind if I skip the in-depth wine-bar description in the event of the sage not being there?

Raven34 |
charles! you know my answer!im always happy to skip descriptions!
Ravi
( disclaimer!....skipping or not listening to descriptions from the GM is not always a good idea, the first character i lost in the worlds largest dungeon was due to me not listening to the description of a creature and then going up and trying diplomacy on a fiendish owlbear.....)

Ashan Ackanya |

If the sage is not there, description will not be required.
Description of my previous lodgings will also not be required if nothing of importance is happening there. Merely wish to collect belongings and return to lodge with my friends as they may be in need of my services in the very near future.

Ashan sets off, leaving the others behind.
Ashan:
Seebo & Nim:

Seebo Murnig |

Looking sternley at the maid Seebo says, " your luck will be a lot worse if you don't help. If she is the daughter of a powerful Mage and you help her he might look favourably on you. IF you don't help what sort of luck do you think you will have with him?"
"So help me calm her down and understand what is going on!"
"Nim, was there anything else with her? anything that might help, tell us who her family is?"

Seebo Murnig |

looking at Nim,"You could be right, or someone else is controlling the fairys as well.
Turning to the maid, "can you get her to tell you her name?"
Then shaking his head, "Maybe then we can see if we can get some sort of message to her father"
"I can't help feeling like there's something else going on, but I'm missing something"

If the innkeeper insists on no refunds, Ashan will accept the outcome and continue with his plan.

Seebo Murnig |

Turning to the maid, in a calm voice Seebo, " I know a liitle about mages, (int roll 1d20=17)enough to know that I would rather help them than get in their way, especially the red ones from Thay."
"Better to be on the good side of a powerful mage than the bad side."
In a more pleading voice "So will you please help me here?"

DM Charles Evans |
Seebo:
Diplomacy check? Although if you fail, you may be waiting for Mrs. Prestwick to arrive back, which will (coincidentally!) be round about when Ashan returns.
The intelligence check probably means Seebo knows that the Red Wizards of Thay are a group of magic-users whose elite rule their own country somewhere way out east, and who have a name for not being too scrupulous in how they get what they want. Occasionally one ostensibly trading in magic items wanders out west.

Seebo & Nim:
Then the maid turns back to Seebo and Nim.
"I've told her that you're one of the servants of the Red Wizards in these parts, and you want to know who her father is.", the maid says to Seebo. "She says that her father is Zulkiss Tam, and wants to know if the half-orc is one of his gladiator bodyguards and has been sent to rescue her?"
Sorry about the delay. Still not feeling well, but sleeping better and feeling considerably more compus mentis than I was leading upto and over the weekend.
Ashan:
Posting may continue to be erratic over the next couple of days whilst I continue to recover.

Sorry about this. I had been hoping that once PaizoCon UK was over, I would be able to get back into this, but Handsworth benefits office are still messing me around, and I have had to write to my MP requesting assistance in dealing with them. Touch and go at the moment if I can get back into this or not. :( Will try to let you know one way or the other by the end of next week.

Not sleeping properly, stressed, feeling dazed most of the time. I just want to shut myself away from everything and everyone. Anyway. Definitely not in any state to continue this play by post. If anyone is interested in taking over, please email me, and I will respond with details of what had been going on and where things had been going. Otherwise, this is pretty much it.
Apologies once again, and thank you all.
Charles.
