Sorry about the delay; haven't been feeling too well since Wednesday morning here, and am only up to posting again now.
I thought I had conveyed that the meal would need to be paid for, and that the cost could later be taken off a room for the night, but that might not be what Ashan understood - I will go back and check what was said here at some point.
Which room exactly is everyone going back to?
Seebo & Nim had a room and Nim has been to another one, although if he ever heard the number, I don't know that he would be able to remember what it was.
Edit:
Hmm. I find Mrs. Prestwick said '...If Mr. Ackanya here decides he still wants to stay, I'll see that the price of his meal if he eats here tonight is deducted from the cost of staying overnight...'

"Three silver pieces sir, for dinner and the night.", the flustered maid responds to Ashan's inquiry, as he piles on the charm.
I posted the regular price was 8 back on Page 2 of the discussion thread.
Although Nim probably can't remember how much it was, and Seebo certainly doesn't, there might be a surprised look from someone at an adjacent table if they overheard that...
DM Charles Evans
Hmm, not sure if that's what's causing delays, but there seem to be a lot of temporarily disappearing posts around recently...
For if Seebo and/or Ashan move into the room, they can see a girl of eastern appearance (she looks to be of Mulan descent) huddled up in the bed in the room.

Turning to the maid,"Please tell her we won't hurt her and we'll do our best to keep her safe."
Turning to the other two, "We need to get the autorities, but quietly."
"Nim, can you mind the door? Don't let in anyone you don't know, unless they are with either Ashan or myself."
"Ashan, It might be wise to go to Mr. Leafgreen, ask who in town he would trust, don't tell him who or whatwe have here, just be a bit vague. Then bring him and whoever he recommends here. This could get very ugly, very quickly."
Turning back to the maid, "After you have her calmed down a bit, please go and get Mrs. Prestwick"

The sage did say something about going out to look for plants this evening, although there was mention of a bar on his itinery too, if I recall correctly. (Apologies; bedtime here, and no time to go looking it up.)
I have checked and the sage Leafgreen has indicated to at least Ashan that:
1) at some point he is hoping to harvest plants 'within hours of the time when one years ends and the next begins'.2) at some point he may 'show his face' at The Silver Tree, out of need to be sociable to the mine-owners.
So he may or may not be home at this point.

Looking at Nim, "I hope her father is alright too, I really don't want to tangle with a red mage and I'd much rather just give back the girl."
"Nim can you remember where you found her and what else was around?"
"Think hard, I know you're good at remembering things, what sort of pictures or symbols were near her?"
Seebo's memory probably isn't what it should be, about Mr Leafgreen, given his trauma

Nim was there a short time ago at dinner when the Sable Bow man from the garrison brought that message from Bronx. Nim ought to remember that the man brought a message about Bronx, even if he can't recall what the man said!
As to the events of the morning, Nim probably remembers that it was snowing, so there was a cabin in the woods, and there were leaves on the floor in the cabin and a trapdoor and a cellar underneath with what looked to Nim like a magic circle, and the girl was down there. DC 15 Int to recall any more than that, I'd say.
Ashan Ackanya
"Me Leafgreen was heading out to collect some plants around the change of year; Although he was going to stop in at The Silver Tree for a time."
"Bronx has headed out with some men from the Sable Bow looking for that rogue who tossed your room."
Ashan will pause so everyone can digest that information.
"I could check if the sage is there, but I would not hold my breath."
Following Seebo's lead, "Nim, the girl appears healthy, how did you bring her here? And what was wrong with her that you did bring her back here?"
Ashan will try leading Nim through his memories, as he has some small skills in peicing together odd information.
Gather information skill attempt to see if that can help Nim's memory of events.

...Gather information skill attempt to see if that can help Nim's memory of events.
The Gather Information assists Nim in getting the events he described in approximately the right order. He also remembers that there was a woman in the cabin, but she got left behind when they were later attacked by nasty little fey on the way back to town.

Nim/Raven:
I emailed you last night regarding where in the thread the description of the cellar is. Nim can probably remember general details about the cellar, and also that there was a matching circle upstairs. Maybe even that the woman in the cabin mentioned seeing something like this before somewhere else.

Seebo tries to think about, some of the rights he's read about.(int 1d20=10)
Musing to aloud to himself, "I wonder if it's arcane rather than religious. If fey were involved then it's more likely that Ashan or Mr leafgreen will recognise the markings."
DM Charles Evans
From a brief and not very descriptive account by Nim, a 10 isn't going to go very far, beyond, umm, yes it might have had some significance (and the relatively common knowledge that circles get occasionally used for calling/binding things)....
Don't know if any of the characters would make the assumption/guess or not, but I think the man from the garrison who delivered the message mentioned something about a cabin in the woods under investigation, too.
Ashan Ackanya
"We need more information." Ashan states flatly.
"I will have a quick look around town for Mr Leafgreen, then collect my gear and return it here. I think we should keep most of this to ourselves until more is known."
Ashan looks to Seebo briefly.
"You still need some rest, and as long as we can calm the girl, she should be safe here. Not much can be accomplished tonight anyway."
"If this sounds alright with you, I'll be off."
"We can get more information from the Sable Bow company in the morning."
If Seebo thinks this makes sense he will proceed out to check around for the sage.
