Kinh Lestari |
"I am somewhat confused by some of these notions you speak of. It would seem you claim those running the city are keeping secrets from us to hinder our potential, and thus we must do the same for the damage to be undone, but what is it that they would stand to gain by acting in such a way? And would it not cause them to become suspicious were we all to suddenly begin a search of the library at once, rather than when we have finished those books we already use to while away what leisure time we possess?"
Mizuki Hikari |
Mizuki adds, "Yes, it would be best that we not all hit it at once. Regin and I can both look, and likely draw less suspicion. We both work there, after all. At least, we can explain our meeting with the rest of you as having struck up a friendship the night of the Celebration."
Regin Ald |
I am of a mind with his concerns. Regin points to Kinh for lack of a name. You are using methods you claim to oppose. The established government and the go ernment tou wish to set up both better be worth this treachery.
And don't you dare say, "Oh it is", because I'm not taking your word for it, Young One.
Kinh Lestari |
"Well," says Kinh, "if that is how things are to proceed, this very gathering would likely seem suspicious to some. I work each day in the fields from dawn until dusk. Should there be anything further to ask of me, I am always easily found... and it is rare that anyone looks."
With another large smile, Kin begins to head home, hesitating at the entryway in case there are further matters to discuss.
