Sashah, would you like to make a Strength check with advantage to see if you and Garzak can place the cap back on the Well?

Lawrick Cornad |

Lawrick is amazed when the skeleton crumbles. ... I'm alive!
He soon gets to the task at hand-closing the well. Wisdom: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (13) - 1 = 12
Strength: 1d20 ⇒ 9
He tries to lift it, but to no avail. He chooses to wait and help another person lift it.

Saphina Greenfoot |

sorry Sashah I don't think you can. But by using the HELP action Garzak can help you by giving you advantage (I think this was the DMs suggestion), Or you can use the HELP action for Garzak or Lawrick on his next try advantage.

We can give Lawrick advantage since the two of you were helping, but I think that Sashah has the best bonus of +0. ;)
EDIT: Eldritch tentacles begin to creep out of the Well as the three of you work to get the cover back on! You can feel a biting cold chill you to the bone as the begin to reach out at you!
Advantage for Lawrick: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (8) - 1 = 7
Before we move to the next round, Shoun can make a Strength check with advantage.

Never mind!
The elderly wizard lodges the log into the rocks and the three of you put your backs into it, lifting the heavy stone lid onto the well!
With Sashah's knowledge of the arcane, you have little trouble arranging the sigils in order and the Well is sealed with a flash!

Saphyna: 1d4 ⇒ 2
Ammon: 1d4 ⇒ 1
The area grows quiet, and you have little trouble as you take a rest. After approximately an hour, Ammon comes to and an hour after that, Saphyna awakens as well.
To be safe, you all take another hour to make sure that your companions have all their wits about them and get a bite to eat after marching all night and an epic battle.
When you return to the village of Gommurg, you are greeted with cheers and Obtrix stands, arms crossed, with a wide grin on his face.
Ye'll been done as hero be doin'. I's knowed ye all had it inside ye, the elder declares then turns to the vilalge, We be havin' heroes' feastin'! Time ta celebratin'!!!
Your wounds are tended to by the dwarvish healers and you are treated as heroes for the entirety of the rest of your stay. At the banquet, Obtrix and two of the other elders, including the elderly female that you helped during the ochre jelly attack, approach with a finely crafted chain shirt. The metal is a dull grey, and looks to be the same material as the walls of the vault securing the White Well. Characters that are familiar with it recognize it immediately as adamantine.
Through the night, several of the dwarves come and give you small pouches with a few coins, offering whatever they can. In total you are given a total of 40 gp in various coinage.
The next morning as you head out and back to town, you see Lumin Fetterbond and his footman waiting on the side of the road a few miles out of town. He smiles broadly and speaks, I foresaw your success, but I only dared to hope that you would emerge unscathed as you did. I am very happy that you have brought Saphyna back to us alive.
He nods to his footman, and says, As promised...
Fetterbond's footman steps up and hands Ammon a large pouch with the clink of coin.
Lumin turns to head back into town and calls back over his shoulder to Saphyna, Don't forget to say goodbye to your father before you head off on a life of adventure...
The end.

Garzak RedDrake |

"Well, that was quite an adventure. I hope you dwarves record that you were aided by a goblin and a tiefling and two halflings and a half-elf!... even if one of the halflings be a half-dwarf!" Garzak says.
He takes his share of the gold and sets off for further adventures...

Sashah |

"Saphina, if are interested I could use aid on trip to Chult. Will be long boat travel. Some zings I must study zere."
