Depends on how you look at it. Yes I have been shot 5 times but each time i got away with out life altering or ending injuries.

My grandmother told me i have an angel looking out for me...it just looks away when ever i get cocky so i don't forget im still human lol

And i took the last few shots when i was visiting my ranch...long story short dont make enemies in your youth and if you SETTLE it before you let hate fester for years....

Playing in 20+ games and running 26 (soon to be 27) is time consuming. Outside of the boards I have a fairly busy work schedule and of course a life!

Often I find that if I fall behind in updates, I need to make time to simply update a Discussion Thread to inform the PCs of a particular game that I am either going to be posting later in the day or week or will be on a break form the boards for one reason or another.

To save time updating so many damn threads I am going to open this thread and link all of my DM aliases (and PC aliases) to this thread to inform people as to my status. So if I am missing for a time, just go ahead and click on the link in my Avatar and you will be able to ascertain my board status.

My sincerest apologies if this is a bit of an inconvenience where you are waiting on me for an action but posting "I will be away for the next 3 days" 47 times (or more) is just not working for me any longer. Thank you for your understanding!

Jugag should be updated. Combination of a pair of wands and Manyshot turned him into kinda a monster. Especially when favored enemies come into play.

You question the target, backed up by the threat of magical pain. You may ask one question per two caster levels. The target can either answer the question or take 1d4 points of damage plus your Wisdom bonus. The target is not compelled to answer truthfully, but the threat of pain gives it a –4 penalty on Bluff checks to convince you when it is lying.

There are a few inexpensive rings that are helpful to increase physical skills, ring of Feather Falling, perhaps a minor wondrous item?

Arkhan has been only 4th this entire time. In the recruitment thread you stated make a 4th level pc.
If he was supposed to already be 5th I apologize to the group; my mistake.
I will level him to 6th today (big level!)

Also with this last hoard, and about 250gp out of pocket, he can afford the rod.

Any way we can have a scroll that Cures Blindness in the treasure found within or will Thoku's blind trials continue? :-)

Also, who is claiming that sword? Thoku as Chief though his weapons seem to favor the Natural weapon variety.

It would be wasted on Jugag. He's decent in melee when he has to be, but 90% of the time he wants to either be at range or be moving to get at range. I think he's used his greataxe once and his earthbreaker never.

Would you still allow Arkhan to train out of a feat and a trait?
I was unsure how Elemental magic feat and Magical lineage (call lightning) would work together; and with having taken Weather domain, Lightning Lord is better option.
Most likely go with Spell Focus (evocation) and, perhaps, Transmuter trait, if approved.

@Choot: yes a scroll of cure blindness can magically appear. Since one of the crones in the Tribe can easily cure it.

I've lost track of the plot a bit, what are the choices from here DM?


Good idea, it's been awhile

At the beginning, you guys were celebrating the annual festival of Flood Truce. The winter snows had melted, filling the dry riverbed known as the Flood Road, and bringing grass and the herds with it. It's a wonderful time of year, filled with feats of strength, debauchery, ritual scarification and torture, and cannibalism. During this time, you ran afoul of the Twisted Nail Tribe, and learned that they were up to some shenanigans off in the Conquered Lands (where Trunau is). Since you had declared Blood Feud against them and formed your own tribe (the Bleeding Storm, cool name), you were pretty much morally opposed to anything they did, and felt the need to smack them up good. Plus, they wanted a massive treasure and you wanted that for yourself. Again, because you hate them for... reasons (you're orcs, they're different orcs, 'nuff said).

You went to Trunau, and after sneaking your way in all sneaky like (and totally scaring the crap out of some Twisted Nail orcs), you managed to manipulate the Twisted Nail's scheme to invade Trunau to your advantage. You managed to get into the tomb first and won some awesome gear (and artifacts!)
namely:
1) a geode that's actually 1/2 a map to even MORE awesome treasure.
2) a magical re-sizing breastplate
3) a magical re-sizing hammer that does many many things
4) a bone kilt (choot should still have this)

You got out of the tomb and killed the local member of the Twisted Nail who had invaded Trunau (and conquered it) thus, winning Trunau for yourself, and most of the guy's tribe. Thoku started crafting a bone throne of orc-commanding, Kern did some eugenic stuff and ... Choot learned of an awesome artifact that could help the Tribe defeat the giant warriors of the Twisted Nail (and the ritual that would open the door to the demiplane where it was). Thoku learned that all of this was the plan of Grendlesleck, the crazy-pants hill-giantess who has taken over the ruined human fortress of Red Lake Fort with her Twisted Nail orc and Giant/ogre army. You also learned that the orcs don't like the giants because, shocker, the giants/ogres are lording it over the orcs.

You went in to the demiplane to get Varg's Thorn (the weapon against giants, it does cool stuff like control giants if you hit them with it). Hakak died along the way, and you picked up Jugag. Shakraal, for some reason, stayed back with the tribe. You won. Got Varg's Thorn, and picked up the crone Ewigga. Also, created a crazy pool of black flame and spirits after murderating a bunch of orcs and other thigns in a ritual to empower a magical goblin head latnern thing.

This brings you up to now.

Sorry everyone I've been dealing with Court issues, the piece of crap who attacked me is pressing charges on me now because I attacked him after he shot me..... my recovery coming along at a good pace at least that's what my physical therapist says. Just getting extra headaches from having to deal with this stuff at court. My lawyer reassures me everything will go my way as he's the primary attacker and i was defending my life but its a headache ......in a fun note i love how my throne is carried...i still need to level but ill post ether to day or tomorrow night

#2 increases the size of the horde, so that is good. But if we can get the orcs to desert and then flood the place anyway, that would also be cool.

So I vote #2 unless we can combo #2 and #1.

Deception is funny too. Combining both plans sounds good. Convincing the orcs that the giants are going to betray them and tricking (sword) the giants into thinking the orcs are having a coup would be fun.
We can try to have both sides confront each other in the moat by the dam...lol.
