Black Sun: I mistakenly excluded you from that channel. Since your light to dark is a 1/day ability, could I please have a Will Save?

Black Sun blasts another hole in the back wall, while Argor shrugs off the majority of the negative power, bringing his staff down on one of the clerics.. destroying the double in a near miss.

Aerian also manages to shrug off the worst of the energy before drinking a potion to heal some of the wounds.

Durward steps around Argor, not quite as confident as he was a few moments ago. One or two he could hold off easily.. but this fight is dragging on much longer than he was prepared for as evidenced by his shifty eyes bouncing between the door and the companions and beads of sweat running down the side of his face.
Another copy of himself pops up, while yet another blast of energy rolls over the party.

Aerian sends another arrow into the ceiling, while Black Sun hits the cleric with another blast.

Jundu joins Aerian in attacking the walls and the ceiling, while Argor shrugs off enough of the energy to keep up the fight. His swing misses the real cleric, but takes out the image.

Finally breaking away from the fight, Durward withraws along the side wall, heading hard for the exit.

That ceiling would be taking quite a beating if he fired this one hard enough to even reach the ceiling... instead the arrow just arcs pitifully forward and strikes the ground.

The team snatches the coin and re-inters the corpse in the sarcophagus before rapidly moving out of the graveyard. You make it to the street with no complications, but what shall the team decide to do next?

In the still hours before dawn, the party decides to keep moving forward with their investigations and heads for Fimbrik's home in the Arcanimirium. Trudging through the dismal rain and soupy mud of the streets, you eventually reach a cottage in the Wise Quarter, on the grounds of the Arcanimirium. A brick step leads to Fimbrik’s front entrance, which is locked with a rusty simple lock. Numerous stacks of newspapers—roughly 2 years’ worth of monthly copies—are piled around the door and crammed into a thin slot at its base. Each rounded corner of the building has a large window.

Cyclic steps forward and gingerly steps around the piles of paper and mail to knock on the door. The boom reverberates through the house, but after several moments, it is obvious that there will be no response.

I placed your tokens in front of the door. The blue line in front of you represents the door, and the blue lines curving around the buttress type circles on the corners are windows.

Aerian looks over the door and decides that it is locked, but not trapped. With a bit of ingenuity, he is able to work his way through the old rusted iron lock barring the way forward and pushes the door open slightly revealing what must be a large living room. A large sofa sits awkwardly near the entrance, facing toward the center of the room. Sets of chairs and tables are arranged throughout, and statues of grandiose gnomes occupy the corners of the room. A flight of stairs set in the back wall lead both up and down.

Jundu heals himself after the fight.

After Aerian unlocks the door, Jundu and Argor step forward, entering the room and peering about. As they approach the couch though, a circle marked on the floor and mostly hidden by a rug glows briefly before three house cat sized beetles appear in the room with loud "POP"s. The dull brown carapace is offset by two glowing greenish yellow spots on each creatures back.

DC 18 Spellcraft:
This was obviously some sort of summon spell, most likely using the summoning circle as a focal point.

Aerian fires an arrow through the door and past Jundu at the beetle coming up behind the kitsune. The arrow scratches a slight line across the creatures carapace.

One beetle attacks Jundu, while the other beetle keeps attacking Argor. The last beetle scuttles in towards the back of the couch, but is unable to get any closer. The beetle nipping at Argor misses again, but Jundu gets a nasty cut from the beastie!
